Bilbao Hostels

Stayed one night only - unfortunately very poor value for money and would not recommend. Stayed in a 6 bedroom dorm, very limited space, I was in lower bunk 1F which I would not recommend as it is directly next to the bathroom door. Unable to use assigned locker as no space to open door without compromising personal space of other people. Worst hostel stay over past 10 days - checked out and found cheaper, better hostel elsewhere in Bilbao. Check in host allowed me to stay in common area in advance of formal check in which is only reason this rates a 2, not a 1. Also just one ensuite toilet / shower not adequate for 6 people in the morning, so otherwise have to go downstairs in common area if you need to use bathroom.

Very good location. Airport bus stops 2 blocks away. Close to the Guggenheim and other museums and tourist sites. Great welcome and check in. Basic bed with bedding. Kitchen only has a microwave and fridge – no opportunity to cook. No towels, but lockers available so bring your own lock. It’s comfortable but certainly not premium as the name implies. I stayed in the hostel for one night in the four female club room. The staff was accomodating, the bed was comfortable and everything was clean. A great service is that there is a collaboration with free basque tours (tip based) to participate in a sightseeing tour of the old town. Why I did not give a full points review: It is not possible to use the kitchen or the co-working space due to the buffet. However, you can sit down in the lobby/bar to have your breakfast and work. The bathroom in the room is not soundproof and the sink is separate in the room. Noise sensitive people might not like it.

I am satisfied with my one night stay in this hostel. We booked a 6 bed female dorm and we were just 3 which was good. It was spacious and the bathroom inside it is also big. People at the reception were kind and answered our questions about the public transport and let my friend leave her luggage there after check out. The hostel works with a code for the main door and one for the bedroom door. Our only complaint was the beds which made noise when we moved. So it can easily wake others up. And also the location is a bit strange but very central.

The hostel has very clean multibed rooms. The bed was also very clean. Unfortunately the bed was for my size a few centimeters too short. There was nothing to make at the cleanness of the sanitation facilities. The community bathroom and shower were very clean. The breakfast was very simple but feeling sufficient. Very clean breakfast room and also very clean living room with large flat-screen TV. The staff was very nice and friendly and helpful. The staff also speaks English. Credit card payment is also possible. Two chairs are also available. Completely disabled-fitted. Super. There are sufficient parking facilities on the ground floor of the youth hostel. Different drinking and sucking machines were also available. 24Stunden Reception. The views, restaurants, city centre, churches and museums cannot be reached on foot. Bus No. 28 is just in front of the house and is going to the city centre. I had my room on the 7th floor. From there you had (just in the night) a spectacular view of the city. It simply radiated everything. Very wonderful. Want to stay there again in any case, provided I am in Bilbao. Good and cheap. But a super youth hostel.

The rooms are all beautiful, wide and very new. In the 10-bed rooms there are two showers inside the room, one bathroom and two washrooms with dryer. The rooms are very comfortable and very comfortable. The hotel is located in the centre of the city, and the hotel is located in the centre of the city. Drug smell in the neighbouring squares, people with a threatening look sitting on the ground on the streets nearby at a normal walking time. It is true that we returned in taxi at night despite being a distance to walk but seeing the bad environment that was there we dare not to walk but there was no one.

The hostel is in the old town, so it's very convenient to go out, but the windows are old and you can hear too much of the voices from the streets! It is basic, the rooms have enough space for 6 people, the mattresses average. The bathrooms are too small for an entire floor. They don't have a stool or a shelf to put your clothes or your necessities on. There is no plastic mat for when you get out of the shower, so everything stays wet. Superficial cleaning and cleaning in the bathroom should be done at least 2 times a day. The bathroom doors are open up and down, and you are right in front of the only sink, so privacy is totally zero! Also something that they don't decorate it at all pretty and that there are pipes that pass above your head on all sides. The entrance hall is beautiful

The staff are welcoming and helpful. If there are many of us per room, those with whom we share it respect the privacy and sleep of others. Showers and toilets are very clean. The space where to eat is judiciously laid out, so that we can interact with all the customers and staff. Access to Wi-Fi is very practical especially when, like me, you come from abroad. I had to leave the hostel earlier than expected. The staff offered me a refund for the two nights I hadn't spent at the hostel. If this was not finally possible, since I made my reservation on Booking, I warmly thank the whole team for the proposal. The only drawback - you always need one - is the lack of outlets in the rooms, near the beds, to charge your mobile phone.

A pleasant apartment in a quiet neighborhood with friendly reception. Nearby is a supermarket, coffee maker and a good bar/restaurant. Also transport to the center is easy with bus 38 (exit 1st stop after t complex) or metro. The complex is also a little noisy (contact sounds and stinging doors), the apartment does not work as a apartment, because there are no kitchen stuff, no cleaning and soaps, etc. The latter need not be insurmountable and then the price-quality ratio is good. Well, I wonder how the noise is when the students are back.
