Arena Blanca Eco Hotel

The hotel is very friendly and very friendly and the staff are very friendly and the rooms are perfectly clean and the hotel is super nice, despite its location a little away from the bag, we as a family loved it. What I recommend is that you check the persians because part of these in the room they gave me was broken, so I let see out, despite being in a second floor if another guest or anyone passed for the The room was very comfortable and the room was very comfortable. Additional TV volume, I recommend that it can be better regulated, because if it puts in volume 1; if the sound was heard strongly and if you lower it, you're not sound ( obviously if possible and not the fault of the cable company, take into account that as an island there are limitants). A final recommendation is that the pool should be opened a little earlier, because this commented on we could access from 11:00, and in the afternoon if you should pass the cleaning network again, because when it is outdoor, When we entered with my son in the afternoon, there were always insects, leaves and sometimes green plants that are from his own garden but because there were children they were sparking him inside the water.
Galapagos Sunset Hotel

This is a spotlessly clean 9-room, 4-storey boutique hotel located in the heart of PBM. The staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are spacious and well appointed with everything you need for travel. The breakfast, on the top floor open air dining area is not to be missed. Fresh ingredients and delicious fare. Great coffee! Filtered drinking water is available on two floors and beach towels can be obtained from the front desk. The views are spectacular and span across the harbour and waterfront. As the property name suggests, the view of the sunsets from the top floor are something to behold each evening. The hotel is located on Charles Darwin Avenue meaning everything is mere steps away including the two main piers from which ferries and tours embark. Total convenience. Highly recommended property.
Casa Opuntia

Hotel with a classical architecture, well preserved, very well located, beautiful, good service. We stay in a privileged room, 2nd floor, in front of the sea. Breakfast is also in front of the sea. The hotel has no comforts, such as lift or TV in the room, the Wi-Fi was half unstable and high people should be careful not to hit the head on some doors but these things do not make any difference for anyone who wants to cut the city and the walks.
La Casa de Mi Sub

This hostal is a good 18-minute walk from the malecon and all the restaurants and shops. Wifi was good, the room was clean, and the AC was cold. The communal areas were great, with lots of nice plants, and I would absolutely suggest this location to anyone with a family using multiple rooms. The nice communal areas outside the rooms would also make this a great choice for smokers. My main complaint was that the window curtains to my room (#12) were extremely thin, and the hall light is motion sensitive and comes on all through the night, and the bright light coming in to the room made it difficult to sleep. Also, there's no blanket at all -- only a sheet.

The good: it's a cute hotel, room was big, bed comfortable, nice balcony. The bad: the woman at reception was MIA when I arrived at 5pm. I called and messaged and she gets there a half hour later and gave the air that I inconvenienced her. Says I have no reservation but Booking and the book that is in front of her with my name written in it says otherwise. That evening I try to lock the balcony door. I'm a solo woman traveler and take no chances. The door doesn't lock. I message her and she says not to worry, there's no crime here. That's great, but I'm one floor up and have been assaulted in the past and this should be BASIC for a hotel room. Locking doors is not a big ask. Cute place but management needs an overhaul.
