Although the kitchen is not available to be used, they do offer a microwave to heat up food. The rooms are clean and sparsely furnished. On my first night, i got a bunk in a room that had no windows, but the front desk staff initiated a bunk at another room that has a large window with better ventilation. I was pleased with his promptness. I stayed for two nights at this place. Cleanliness is top notched. A.cleaner woman is usually there in the day for routine and prompt cleaning. Toilet tissue is always in ready supply. Bathrooms and toilet cubicles are shared among the genders. I thought it was gonna be a problem, but my concerns were unfounded. Guests were all respectful, cordial and help keep the place clean. The hostel is owned and designed by a warm and friendly local, Mr Ba, who is there most times to welcome the guests and to supervise. He was a gracious host who made me feel welcome and gave me some local knowledge about this beautiful amcient city. Overall, I can't say enough how thankful I am with my stay here. Convenient location, clean, safe, relaxing, welcoming... I highly recommend this place.
