I arrived 2 hours earlier and was checked in immediately, for which I thank you very much. The room has panoramic windows, light and beautiful. However: Of the obvious disadvantages - the location is far from any infrastructure and VERY dirty. There was someone else's black hair on the bed linen, a lot of it. The linen did not leave a feeling of freshness, as if it had not been changed since the last guest. The reception staff does not speak English.

This hotel is in Ban Ta Kun. If you do not have a car it is inaccessible. Has a nice pool and good view. No food and convenient stalls near the hotel. Need to walk 15 mins to get food. Only can order tuk tuk to get to Khao Sok National Park or the Pier.

Very close to the railway station. The location is great if you aren’t going to the islands and just wanna take a train somewhere else. Affordable and we have nothing to complain about here.

Outstanding service from Chris, the owners' son. Airport transfers, excursions, ferry ticket reservations, restaurant and other tips, all in good English. The rooms are spacious and clean. There is a sea view from the beautiful terrace in front of the family room. The garden is pretty and has some surprises. Fridge and air conditioning work well.

SCAMMERS ALERT!!! First the lack of hospitality. We booked last minute we were supposed to go to Koh Tao island but because of bad weather we were unable to go there. Whe check in procedure was as with every hotel, however we started to feel immediately like criminals when they demanded 3000 baht deposit by credit card because we wanted to check out early to go to the ferry for Koh Tao. I asked why we have to pay so much money which is double the price for one nights stay and they said the the have a flat TV and we might steal or damage it. (The TV never worked by the way it looks that they had unpayed bill to the satelite service. The remote had dead batteries. the whole setup was disconected from electricity. ) Also they mentioned that the money will show in my bank 30 days after (which is strange refunds are done instantly or at max 4 work days in 2023). The botom line its now 2 months and still trying to get my money back. They are using my money probably for pay their bills and their policy is to refund when its convenient for them. Save yourself of being scammed and get another hotel.

Wow what a place, made all the more special by 'Oh' who runs the bar and cooks in the kitchen. Oh practically run this place and made our stay so special and personal. The rooms were gorgeous little huts with hammocks on the veranda and a pool situated opposite. There were eight of us travelling, four couples travelling to celebrate a special 50th Birthday. Rooms were cute, with air con and had a fridge and daily water and coffee delivery. The bar and food was amazing and the sunset was fantastic I highly recommend staying here. Oh arranged our bike hire, taxi to the port and ferry to KohTao when we were leaving nothing was too much trouble. Would highly recommend and definitely be staying again.

3.2 “AVOID AT ALL COSTS ” Myself and my partner stayed in this hotel very recently. We were abruptly woken up in the night by a member off staff letting themselves into our room whilst we were sleeping. Luckily my partner is a light sleeper and woke to the noise of the key being put in the door and the door opening. After this event, we realised we couldn’t securely lock the door from within the room and had to put a chair against the door for safety. Woke up the next morning to see an army of ants crawling over various area of the room (we had no perishables out). Huge bed. No quilt cover. Pillows rock hard. Generally unsafe place. Please avoid

We grabbed a tuc tuc from the mini bus station which took about 5 minutes to get here. We we're welcomed by the owner who was super friendly. He helped us arrange our ferry to Koh Tao, carried our bags to the bedroom and even bought our beers upstairs to us. The rooms are amazingly clean with large comfy bed and 4 extra comfy pillows. Breakfast was included which was served in their beautiful little coffee shop on the ground floor. 100% excellent experience. If you're in need if an overnight transit stop I would highly recommend this place.

We had the most wonderfull stay at Siri Guesthouse. The rooms are spacious, clean and have stylish zen atmosphere. The owner speaks English very well, which is a big asset in this typical Thai- native town. The restaurant serves authentic Thai food. So be warned if you order spicy😄: I considered myself spicy resistant but had to admit that I am still a chili sissy according to genuine Thai standards.😉 Taste is exquisit. Special thanks for helping us with the unexpected hospital visit. Things would have been much more complicated without the great translation and help. So if you are passing by Surat Thani, take the time to spend a few nights at Siri Guesthouse and discover this true Thai town.

Such a lovely place to stay - my fav accommodation in Thailand! A stunning balcony view of the jungle, air conditioning, comfy bed and everything was perfectly clean and nice. There’s a koi pond and a little waterfall, lots of cats and flowers.. The residence is about 6 min walk from the beach, and near so many cute cafes and restaurants. The area is quiet but has a laidback beachy atmosphere, plenty of massage houses and restaurants/bars but the nights are quiet and there aren’t too many people around. Loved staying here and would definitely come back

The biggest disappointment on Koh Samui. Unfortunately, all the negative reviews on Google Maps turned out to be a reality for us. We stopped by paying for a Villa for a month for 80 thousand baht, plus the same amount of deposit. Photos and reality are two different things. The first day we spent cleaning the room, removing dust and dead insects to put our stuff into shelves. The next day there was a terrible smell of sewage, and we could not use some rooms. We found a non-working shower and plumbing in terrible condition, water was flowing down the walls and plaster was falling. The room was completely unusable and we constantly had to call the staff to fix something. Then cockroaches appeared in the room! The staff did not react to this in any way. We wrote messages that were ignored. We asked for a refund to move out, as the housing is not worth it, but we were not given a clear answer. The last straw was the invasion of insects, we called for help from the staff, we had huge grasshoppers, beetles, flying creatures, we treated everything with spray — they rained down on us from the ceiling, I killed 40 pieces and then stopped counting, there were hundreds of them. All the doors were closed, but obviously in their housing where there is no constant care, there are cracks somewhere. They were still coming, we ran out of treatment, and we just had to run away without belongings in the middle of the night and look for a place to sleep, it was scary and disgusting to be there, because the staff just finished their working day and ignored all our requests to help. They have a ”wonderful” boss, Linda, who gives all orders and is apparently a con artist, collecting money and not maintaining her housing in an adequate condition, spitting on the guests. Since all our requests to return at least some of the money were ignored every day, and the problems were growing, we had to contact the police. When we returned to the hotel, we were greeted kind of aggressively after the police call, and were told that you can leave today or tomorrow. Again, no clear answer. We asked to clean and treat the room from insects so that we could go inside. When they made the decision, they immediately asked us to move out without warning in advance, we were shocked that they were kicking us out just in a matter of minutes, everything happened in a rough form and at a very late time, we didn't have time to find new housing and we found ourselves with suitcases on the street in the mountains at 22 o'clock, not knowing where to go, while we were packing our bags, we were constantly called and kicked out of the room. But the staff was no longer there and no one would have cleaned the room, we were simply put out on the street. I have never met such disrespect. For 4 terrible nights in this mess, 20,000 baht was withheld from us. This is really a disgusting attitude, we are very disappointed with both the place and the staff. This is a small hotel located near the airport. The rooms have good air conditioner and are clean. The owner is really nice and help you in all the needs. We appreciatted that they picked us at night in the airport although is only 500 m. This hotel was helpful to stay one night before departing with the ferry next day.
