Nita Raft House

As the title of my review says, the staff are great. Knowledgeable of the local area, easy to deal with and very welcoming. I found them incredibly helpful. The owner has fluent English which makes thing easier as well. There are also 4 lovely dogs that greet you every time you arrive home. They always take up 10 minutes of my time when I get back. I was a little put out that the room has no warm water and there are no plug points in the room so charging your items is resigned to leaving them in the common area, although the owner had a solution for this and had an extension cord which ran all the way to my room through the window. The price is good and compared to other options and is the closest riverside accommodation to the bus station. I want to thank the owner for all of his help during my stay.

We enjoyed our stay here. The only drawback here was that there was no room service and neither an intercom by the means of which you could call for something or just ask for something as simple as the wifi password. You have to climb all the way up to the reception for any sort of information. Also if you are visiting on weekdays and they don’t have many guests. The kitchen closes by 6. The views are spectacular and the rooms decently maintained. Would surely recommend if you are willing to let go of the above negatives..!!
Tamarind Guesthouse

A new room with the most advanced air conditioner recently made in the room above the squid and a refrigerator and bed is 800 baht. 550 baht in a room with only a bed without a refrigerator and TV. Today was a room with a nice view with two windows that was the most unusual because it was vacant on weekdays.By the way, the room number is room 27. Breakfast is not included, but there is also a 7-Eleven right outside, and there is free coffee at the lobby front desk, so it's convenient. You can walk to the night market in 10 minutes. Since I came to Kanchanaburi, I highly recommend the room along this river and above the squid. At the hotel near the Quwai River Iron Bridge, which I went a little further, it will cost about 2500 to 3000 baht per night, so I highly recommend 800 baht here.
Sugar Cane Guesthouse-II

The price is very good. We booked a fan room but the riverside raft was free so we upgraded to the accommodation. The room is a little old, has a bungalow feel, but the air conditioner is cool. The room is clean. Sleep comfortably. Complete with blankets and clean fragrant towels. There is a bar of soap with good, strong warm water. There are two bottles of water provided. The atmosphere on the waterfront is very good, the breeze is cool, and there is free coffee in the morning. Anyone who is seasick is not recommended to sleep on a raft.
Tara B&B Kanchanaburi

We stayed 2 nights using the BnB as a base for a short biking tour around Kanchanaburi. The staff were so kind and the hotel exceptional value. Perfect location by all the bars and restaurants, 10 min walk from the station (we walked up after getting off the morning train from Bangkok) Breakfast was great, 100 baht for full option. Can also reccomend their Thai food for lunch/dinner. Room clean and set up nicely. Thanks for a lovely stay!

I contacted them urgently to stay for one night, and the room was large and nice. It's a good place to stay for a long term. However, you need a car or motorcycle, not walking.
Villa La Flora Kanchanaburi

Very pleasant stay in this elegant setting. Comfortable stand alone villa in well looked after garden setting. Very nice big pool , afternoon complimentary cake and tea is a nice touch. River Kwai at the bottom of the complex and the bridge is a 4km easy drive away. The addition of a sofa in the room would be most welcome as sitting on the bed is not ideal. All in all a very pleasant place to stay with friendly staff ,very clean and good facilities , good parking and easy access to the city. Would definitely stay here again.

I stayed here for 3 nights. I loved my stay here. Joy and Fa are amazing and friendly owners. So clean and comfortable. Joy helped me kindly with the paperwork for my visa extension at the local immigration. It's much easier to do visa extension here than in Bangkok. This guesthouse is so close to the bus terminal. Lots of places to eat nearby. The River Kwai Bridge is not too far. The Skywalk is amazing. I loved the Erawan National Park and waterfall which you can take a local bus. You can rent a bike and do your laundry at the guesthouse for a great price. I'd like to thank Joy for all her help and kindness. Thank you.
