S.K. House 1

Chiang Mai Ancient City
The whole house looks like a museum, everywhere are beautiful decorations, plants, hanging plants on the balconies, antiques or carvings. The room doors and partly the interior are beautifully painted. A well-kept swimming pool is in the middle of the hotel. There is free coffee and tea in the open lobby. TV in the room- a fridge would have been better. Unfortunately my room number 232 was the complete opposite. Dark, mini-balcony to the neighboring house about 1.5 m away, window into the dark hallway. No sunlight. No fridge, no closet, no shelf, no air conditioning just a fan. Just one bed, very hard mattress with stained sheets, one dirty chair with several generations of dirt on the cover. Just a makeup mirror with a table in front of it. Poor lighting, hard to read, no reading lamp, no bedside table etc. Floor was dirty, I had spilled water and wanted to wipe it up, my handkerchief was black. On the walls various hunting successes and various liquids that had run down there. The bathroom was okay, the shower faucet dripped non-stop. There was a water heater which was ok. Even the fresh towels smelled musty as soon as they got wet. There was no room service all week. If I needed fresh towels or toilet paper, I had to ask myself. There were 2 small bottles of shower gel and shampoo and a bar of soap. But that wasn't enough for 1 week. All around there were enough restaurants and bars, laundry service, etc. It was relatively far to the city, old town, center, Warorot market. I rented a bike on the main road for 50THB/day which was great. The staff was very friendly and I was allowed to put my medication in the drinks fridge in the lobby, as they say no room has a fridge or air conditioning. I was allowed to put my bike in the back entrance overnight. Unfortunately, none of this made up for the terrible room and lack of cleanliness. Too bad. The ambiance would have been great.
Mon Lom Nao Homestay

We had a pleasant and peaceful stay up in the mountains. The images of the room were accurate and the family suite was spacious enough for 4 adults. The owners were helpful and responsive, food is available all day (till 8pm) and they cook the best porridge for breakfast. Do note that even though the Google location of the homestay is correct, the route to reach there is incorrect. We were horribly misled by Google; thankfully, a friendly local eventually guided us to the place. Guests should WhatsApp the owners for guidance on how to get there.
Morning star glamping

With the help of the host from this glamping site, we rented a sedan from them to drive us from Chiang Mai airport to this location. It was very remote, and we are happy the host has such service. We are fully aware of the location, it is also the reason we came here to rest after 7 days of Bangkok trip. We were also very surprised the cleanliness of the site, there is not mosquitos or any other small insects around the camp site, which we were well prepared for that but we are very happy with the environment without worrying this. They must have done a lot of control to come to this state. Thank you! Service is very good, they have golf car to drive us to the restaurant where we can have breakfast, lunch or dinner. Dinner they will offer pizza or mookata, guess everyone will order this. We stayed at the Kissing star for 2 nights, first night we bought street food from MaeKampong for our dinner, second night we had Mookata, frankly speaking their food is not expensive too, we can hardly finish their whole set for 2 persons. As for their facilities, I think the pictures are self explained. they have marshall soundbar, enabled Netflix, youtube etc, so that one can really rest in the room, listening to the nature and watching tv. Their host can be communicated via whatsapp too, so just tell them anything you need, they will try to help. I love their hospitality even in such remote area but still trying to offer us the best!!!

My girlfriend and I recently had the opportunity to stay at this accommodation in Chiang Mai and I must say that we were very impressed. The accommodation is decorated in a traditional Lanna style, making the atmosphere very charming and warm. From the moment we entered, we felt like we were drawn into the beauty of local art. The accommodation has a perfect design, with wooden furniture, beautiful lamps and other decorations that help create a romantic atmosphere for our vacation. The location is also excellent. It is close to Chiang Mai Gate and, most importantly, to the Walking Street, one of the must-see tourist attractions if you come to Chiang Mai. Walking here in the evening is a very memorable experience. Another thing that we really like here is that there is a cake shop and a matcha shop downstairs of the hotel, which my girlfriend especially likes. Being able to taste delicious pastries with strong matcha green tea in a beautiful Lanna atmosphere makes this stay even more special. In addition, the accommodation also has online admin staff who are available to help 24 hours a day, making us feel confident that there will be someone to help with everything throughout our stay. Whether we have questions or want to ask for advice on various matters, we can contact them immediately, which is a very good service. All the staff are friendly and always ready to help. The rooms are clean and have complete facilities.

Chiang Mai Airport
The hotel was great for the price. It’s a little far outside of the city center. You will definitely need transportation. I don’t recommend the motor bike rentals they suggest, as the price is double what you can find elsewhere. I specifically booked this hotel because it has balconies. I try to be a respectful smoker but they had signs stating that smoking isn’t permitted anywhere in the hotel. This is common a d why I booked a room with a balcony but they also had signs that smoking wasn’t allowed even on the balcony. I find this unreasonable. I chose not to obey that sign. I didn’t flaunt it and no one said anything.

Chiang Mai Airport
Perfect place to stay before or after your flight to Chiang Mai. Actually, it’s super cool to stay here longer! The building is very new, with a cozy design and homey touches. It’s also very clean. The owners are very accommodating and friendly. Housekeeping is always smiling and does an excellent job—this place is spotless. It’s easy to find and not noisy at all. While you can hear the planes, it’s still quiet enough to get a good night’s sleep on the comfy bed. Each room has a small kitchen corner, but it’s a bit basic—there are only two forks and no good cups for coffee or tea. I’m sure the owners will improve this in the future. The bathroom is great—modern and hot—with a Japanese (or maybe Chinese) style. It reminds us of our last visit to beautiful Japan. The internet is fast—5G speed. If you have a car, parking is easy, with plenty of free spaces available. The price is good for the location and quality. We highly recommend this place. Thank you, and best of luck with your business!

Chiang Mai Ancient City
A disgusting surprise: When checking, we realized that the hotel is full of insects, spiders and cucumbers of all sizes I tried to cancel the reservation now but when checking in was no longer allowed, I bought a disinfectant waste and anti-insects and they started to go everywhere, so I booked another hotel where we will sleep, as I travel with a little girl. The hotel has a plague problem, one thing is that it is economic and another is that it is unhealthy. The one who says to be the owner has told you when you commented on the situation this morning she said she would not make returns. This type of thing should be known and warned because when you come and see it, they do not make you return.

Accommodation suitable for relaxation, quiet, good location, on the main road, various rooms, fairly new condition, delicious food. The resort is natural, there may be ants and insects, so close the doors and windows well.

Staying at the duplex here is super chill. The house is clean, a lot of space and bathroom is very convenient since they do wet and dry bathroom in the duplex. Parking is free at the parking they provided. The stream in front of the house is full of flow energy which that flowing sound makes my mind stay so calm. Worth the money and worth the driving.

Chiang Mai Ancient City
During our visit to Glyn ChiangMai the day before New Year's, we enjoyed a delightful lunch at this restaurant located within a hotel. We ordered Som Tum (Papaya Salad) with Ribs and Seafood Spaghetti, both of which were incredibly delicious and showcased the restaurant's commitment to quality and flavor. The atmosphere at Glyn ChiangMai was inviting and comfortable, making it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy a meal. Being situated in a hotel, it added an extra layer of convenience for travelers looking for a great dining experience. Additionally, the location is easy to access, with ample parking available, making it hassle-free for guests. Overall, I highly recommend Glyn ChiangMai for anyone seeking a fantastic dining experience in Chiang Mai. The combination of tasty food, pleasant ambiance, and convenient location makes it a must-visit restaurant!
