Mon Lom Nao Homestay

We had a pleasant and peaceful stay up in the mountains. The images of the room were accurate and the family suite was spacious enough for 4 adults. The owners were helpful and responsive, food is available all day (till 8pm) and they cook the best porridge for breakfast. Do note that even though the Google location of the homestay is correct, the route to reach there is incorrect. We were horribly misled by Google; thankfully, a friendly local eventually guided us to the place. Guests should WhatsApp the owners for guidance on how to get there.
Chaiyapol Homestay

The place is authentic, like living with the family in wooden house/room. Family feel and yet, left alone to enjoy the night and water flowing. The temperature was 24 Degrees Celsius at night, 29 in the day, during summer (when it's 35 Degrees at chiang mai). The breakfast is cooked besides kitchen where you eat, porridge, sausage, eggs, bread, jam, nutella, fruits. Though many flies are sharing meals, but we did not get any health problem. Tips/note : 1) The car parking area is limited, try to avoid saturday and be ready to move your car around to let others out. 2) Walking up from the market area is a hard walk up slope, not for those with leg issue. 3) Try to book the unit with balcony, the top floor room very small for 2 person max, share table with next door guest, and walking around makes loud noise for those below, so must walk quietly. 4) The room with balcony is huge, can sleep 4 with 2 toilet, 2 queen bed.

Wua Lai
My girlfriend and I recently had the opportunity to stay at this accommodation in Chiang Mai and I must say that we were very impressed. The accommodation is decorated in a traditional Lanna style, making the atmosphere very charming and warm. From the moment we entered, we felt like we were drawn into the beauty of local art. The accommodation has a perfect design, with wooden furniture, beautiful lamps and other decorations that help create a romantic atmosphere for our vacation. The location is also excellent. It is close to Chiang Mai Gate and, most importantly, to the Walking Street, one of the must-see tourist attractions if you come to Chiang Mai. Walking here in the evening is a very memorable experience. Another thing that we really like here is that there is a cake shop and a matcha shop downstairs of the hotel, which my girlfriend especially likes. Being able to taste delicious pastries with strong matcha green tea in a beautiful Lanna atmosphere makes this stay even more special. In addition, the accommodation also has online admin staff who are available to help 24 hours a day, making us feel confident that there will be someone to help with everything throughout our stay. Whether we have questions or want to ask for advice on various matters, we can contact them immediately, which is a very good service. All the staff are friendly and always ready to help. The rooms are clean and have complete facilities.

Chiang Mai Ancient City
I lived in Chiang Mai for 5 days. The boss is from China, and the lady at the front desk is from Thailand. She can speak a little Chinese, and there is no problem with simple communication. The hotel address is in the ancient city, so it is very convenient to go anywhere. The front desk can also help rent motorcycles The car costs 300b a day, and there is an internet celebrity restaurant opposite. The food is delicious and the portions are also generous! The hotel also has a swimming pool, and there are 7-11s nearby. The location is very convenient. The most important thing is that it is cost-effective. The mountain view room we live in is on the top floor. There is only one room. It is very quiet and has a wide view. We drink beer on the balcony at night , It's really pleasant, and I will come again next time I come to Chiang Mai.

Area north of the old city
We were supposed to stay at Fashen Poshtel for a week, but ended up staying for more than two. The room was very stylish and felt very nice. One of the main reasons we picked Fashen Poshtel was that my wife needs a big working space – and after hours and hours of searching, I’m pretty confident that Fashen Poshtel has the best desk for working in whole Chiang Mai. The staff was very friendly, and we loved the art hanging around in the rooms and the corridors. Hope to stay there next time we visit Chiang Mai as well!

Night Bazaar Area
Stayed for three nights, overall it was good. There was a simple breakfast, a nice environment, a good atmosphere, and the staff were very friendly. There are free bicycles you can borrow. Of course they are very old. It is good to borrow them and take pictures nearby. There is also a very delicious Dapao restaurant nearby. After exiting the hotel, turn right and then left in three minutes.

Chiang Mai Airport
Great value for money. Especially if you need to be in that area. It’s easy to get to the old city and other parts of the city from there by taxi or motorbike. The room was clean. The staff is super friendly and helpful. They have some tasty pastries at the cafe downstairs. I tried the Thai milk tea and it was good. They can also adjust sugar level to your request

Chiang Mai Ancient City
During my two months in Thailand, the Sabuy was by far the most energetic place to stay. The owner was largely responsible for this. He always had an open ear and was extremely helpful. The Sabuy was my oasis in this pleasantly lively city.

Chiang Dao Roundhouses
4.6/57 Reviews
