Ahl Agadir
I spent a couple of nights with my wife after doing a country tour. So, the trip was to relax. The place itself and owner were very polite, breakfast was great. But there is always a but. When I booked, the main thing was parking. The description showed parking and that is incorrect. You have to park outside the medina and pay for it (US$5-7/night), then you need to hire a cart person to take your luggage into the hotel (unless you don't kind carrying yourself) About US$2. Since the place was to sleep and relax for a couple night, unfortunately the open floor design spread any sound from the bottom floor to the entire bldg, so if someone wakes up at 6am, for sure you will wake up as well. The site shows handicap accessible. I am not sure if there are rooms on the bottom floor, but you need to climb stairs for the other rooms, no elevator, so, not sure about accessibility. So, again, great location, wife (decorator) loved the decoration, but in my case, I just wanted to sleep in and rests after 2 weeks driving and the noise in the AM unfortunately did not help much. It is a small place so, if you have a family gathering and can occupy the 7-8 rooms, you will love it.

This place is particularly good, the Chinese do not lie to the Chinese! ! When checking in, there will be mint tea and snacks to eat. The place to live is also very clean and bright. The air conditioner is very warm. It is still hot when you feel it (except that the toilet is a bit cold). The yard is very nice, very suitable for taking pictures, breakfast is delicious. The most important thing is that the people here are very good. I don't know the wifi password, so I called the front desk. A very polite gentleman came to help me lose. We left late the next day so wanted to leave our luggage here, they immediately agreed, and put our pizza in the refrigerator! When we came to get it, Miss Sister also said take your time, you can stay for a while and then leave, so I fell asleep in the yard... I heard someone talking in my ear in a daze, and opened my eyes and found that the gentleman who helped me enter the password yesterday told me that I could enter the room next to no one. Take off your shoes and sleep well on the bed. In short, I highly recommend everyone to stay! ! !
Riad Dar Bayane

From the moment of arrival, Moustapha and the other members of staff were very welcoming. We were kindly greeted with mint tea and Moroccan cake whilst we waited for our room to be prepared (we arrived at 10am). The riad is the perfect mix of authentic and modern, lined with tiles, comfortable seating and a peaceful atmosphere you will be grateful for in order to escape the bustling streets of Marrakesh. The rooms and communal areas are immaculate and the rooftop beds the perfect place to chill on an afternoon. There’s also a small pool on the ground floor for cooling down when the heat becomes too much. The breakfast is excellent with a mixture of traditional Moroccan breads, omelette, fruit and salad accompanied by mint tea and freshly squeezed orange juice. The perfect start for busy days! Moustapha could not have done anymore prior to arrival and whilst we were there. He helped arrange return transfers from the airport and was a fountain of local knowledge with guidance on navigating the streets of Marrakesh. If you are considering staying here then I urge you to book as you will not be disappointed!!!

I chose this riad because it had high reviews, and it was just as wonderful as the reviews said. The rooms and courtyard were artistic and relaxing. The food was also delicious, and although dinner was an additional charge, the tajine pot had a simple home-cooked taste and was very tasty. Furthermore, the owner and staff were all friendly and kind, so I was very satisfied. The homely atmosphere was soothing, and it was the first time I'd ever had such a difficult time checking out. I'd definitely like to visit again.
Marrakech Retreat

My partner and I booked this stay for 4 nights, the overall experience was poor to say the least but the average review is more for the landscape and food than anything else. If I saw an honest review on this place I probably wouldn't have booked. To give you and others fair warning here are a few flags to assure before booking; They charge in Euro's as their main market is French/European tourists, this makes everything severely overpriced. I suggest paying strictly in Moroccan dirhams unless you have the 1000's to spare. A single meal would cost you about 18-20 euros (roughly 200 dirhams) per person (excluding drinks and starters) where local restaurants for a three course meal would be 30 sometimes even less at the right place. We paid in cash as we were told there were no card machines YET when we left a visible working card machine in a corner. It is VERY isolated, suited for those who would want complete cut off from the city, restaurants etc. It is literally placed in the outskirts of a village that barely have roofs over their head. There are no uber or taxi app services that run in this area so a taxi would have to be booked directly from the hotel costing you about 30 euros (300 dirhams) EACH way - to the city and back. Make sure you buy a ready to go Sim from Orange when you land and not after, it's also much cheaper to buy online than in the country. The deals you see for the 'view' and 'luxury' is a mask. The only service that was wonderful were the housekeeping staff and night host, they were kind. We came for the culture and experience but it seemed to be placed like a rehab resort in another country. The colonisation is real. Honestly wish it was vetted properly in the reviews.

This Hotel has so much potential to be amazing but I have a couple of comments to make. 1. The Hotel is run by very few staff. The few staff that run is are AMAZING but I can't help but feel they are over worked and they're there 24/7. I cannot fault them particularly the guys who are there from breakfast till the bar closes. Hats off to you for being polite, professional and so accommodating despite clearly there not being enough staff. Management I do feel this needs to be addressed. 2. Cleaning staff are amazing. Our room was spotless. Clean towels and bedding every day, so thank you too! Pool was looked after very morning. 3. The hotel grounds are stunning. It's like a little paradise and again spotless. 4. Food. They have the same menu every single day. I suspect due to lack of staff. It gets boring although very nice food, there needs to be some kind of rotation. We paid for all inclusive and had to spend more money to eat out as we needed a change! 5. We had a 2 bedroom family apartment which was huge, beautifully furnished and overlooking the pool. Cannot fault it. 6. Breakfast was disappointing out of all the meals. Very limited and like someone else has said a lot of flies. We ended up not bothering which again was annoying as we had committed to the all inclusive option. Overall this hotel is really lovely and definitely worth a visit and if the staff and menu issues were addressed I would happily give it a 5* review.
Riad Andallaspa

Andalla Spa was fantastic, it's bang in the middle of the old town, out of the gate, turn left and left and you're at the start of the souk and only minutes away from the main square. Christophe could not have been better for communication, he arranged a pick up from the airport for us and even though we ended up 90 minutes late due to airline delays the driver was there. The building itself is a fantastic example of a traditional riad, it has been thoughtfully furnished and our room was excellent, enough space, hanging space and a super king bed. The bathroom was very spacious with twin sinks and a huge walk in shower with a good hot water supply. The aircon was extremely efficient when needed. My partner made use of the full 90 minute spa and hammam treatment that was available and said it was outstanding, the best she has had. One of the other things that made Andalla Spa stand out from nearly everywhere else we have stayed is the staff. They were genuinely helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble and they made us feel welcome and at home. We've stayed in enough hotels to recognise outstanding service and people and you definitely get that here. One final note slightly off topic - if you're thinking of coming to Marrakech and are maybe slightly worried about security and safety - in our experience we felt safer in Marrakech and Andalla Spa than other cities we've visited
