I have to admit, we absolutely loved our stay here. The people were so accommodating and friendly. The location is on a steep hill, most cars won't make it up but walking down and up takes about 5 minutes or a tub tuk can get you there. The view is amazing and worth the walk. It's so close to the main road and close to main attractions (about 20min walk) the room was comfortable, warm, clean. The breakfast was some fruit, with eggs made according to your choice, some toast and they even let us try the coconut pancakes which were so yummy. Everything was amazing. We were so happy there and will definitely stay there again.

The Eco Lodge has several treehouses. They are clean, comfortable and environmentally conscious. Just a short walk up Waterfall Road, they are easy walking distance to town while still being far enough to be quiet. It is a treehouse though, so you may hear rain, monkeys, birds, etc. The best part though, is the owner Sampath. He brings you a delicious breakfast on your porch every morning. But that should only be the start of your day with Sampath. He took us to Nine Arches bridge, a wonderful and authentic pepper and cinnamon plantation, and to Little Adam’s Peak. He arranged a fabulous massage (very inexpensive by US standards) and a cooking demonstration/ class. Highly recommend a visit to this little treasure!

We booked this hotel for our 2yr old daughter’s birthday. We can rate everything as 5-stars including the staff, service, food, location etc. The environment was so good, calm and everywhere is green with beautiful paddy fields. It was a good experience for all three of us to walk through paddy fields and seeing wildlife. The room was so clean. You get to see an amazing view from the restaurant and the pool. There were lot of peacocks, and my daughter enjoyed it a lot. They have arranged a small birthday surprise for her as well. Special thanks to our assigned butler and Faizal who gave us different baby food options to our little fussy eater. I should also mention about the yummy food prepared by the village ladies and the ‘pol pani’ served to us. The morning view from the restaurant was breathtaking, would love to go there again. We booked for one night only, wish we could have stayed at least for two days.

What a find, such a beautiful spot high up on the mountain side, spectacular views. The room and facilities were so clean, loved the four poster bed and so comfortable too. We had a double balcony with fantastic views of the surrounding area. The dining area is spacious with all round views very clean. The meals were well cooked and delicious. Loved the breakfast. The staff were great nothing too much trouble for them. I do hope I get to go back to stay at Dream Catcher.

We have stayed in a family room for one night on a busy long weekend & wished we could stay longer there. With the narrow approach road & parking, which is common to the Ella area, we had doubts , but the owner Mr Manjula & his staff were attentive & had solutions to the comfort of every guest with no hazzle. Food was very tasty & served on time & though the place was full we were welcome any time with good sevice even at short notice. Room with Beddings & Bath were clean & nice and had enough space. View from the room balcony of Ella rock was pleasing & with greenery around, the birds were a plenty with their songs. Though it was a short stay, with their little input from staff we could use the time well & visited the surrounding attractions & it was time well spent. All in all we really enjoyed our stay & so a big Thank you to Rock side Inn.

I recently stayed three nights at Ella Green cottages with my soon (13) and we had a lovely experience. The cozy cottages are nestled in the heart of nature, surrounded by lush greenery, which gave it a serene and peaceful jungle atmosphere with birds and small monkeys playing around. The cottages themselves were cozy and comfortable, with the necessary amenities to make the stay comfortable. We enjoyed the delicious home-cooked breakfast each morning. Pancakes, toast, fresh fruits, omelets and various traditional Sri Lankan foods. The host was very friendly and welcoming and went out of their way to make os feel comfortable and ensure that our stay was enjoyable. Overall, I highly recommend Ella Green cottages to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat amidst nature. This homestay was perfect for me! Originally booked it only for two nights and stayed there in total for one week. I loved everything about it. Ruwan, the owner and his family were so kind and always ready to help. The breakfast + dinner was also super delicious! The location is convenient as well and the view you get from the balcony is simply amazing! Perfect for watching the sunrise or sunset. All in all: It was such a wonderful + peaceful stay and I'm really looking forward to coming back! Thank you so much Ruwan, see you soon!!!

I travel solo and I prefer quiet and peaceful places where I can't hear the noise of the city or the music from the night clubs. So Nature Nest was just perfect for me. I liked everything. The room was light and spacious, a comfortable bad, a big bathroom with hot shower and a nice balcony made my stay cozy and pleasant. And it was so nice to hear the chirping of birds outside in the morning. It took me about 10 minutes to walk down to Ella and maybe a little more to walk up. And every time the walk in the nature was nice and pleasant. Sampat and Nadeeka were really helpful, they gave me many useful tips and good advice about Ella and Sri Lanka and I just had a great time talking with them. The food they cooked was really delicious and also they were so kind to give me a cooking lesson and even a ride when I needed it. I highly recommend the Nature Nest to anyone who values comfort and calmness. And I will be glad to come back if I have such a chance.

So far you live on the building, unfortunately. Because of the construction in the bathroom, there are a lot of raids and divorces. But! There's a tacoooooo look! And we've been very nicely decorated with the room for our honeymoon. Very good breakfast! Generally recommend!)
