We were a little hesitant at first because we couldn't find any reviews from Chinese tourists, but the whole experience was perfect. The back door is connected to the zoo, and Capibalara can be seen in 5 minutes! The design of the hot spring pool is relatively conventional and practical, with everything you need. Breakfast and dinner are recommended. Everyone goes to the designated dining table corresponding to the room on time to enjoy a full set of Japanese cuisine (I'm not sure if it's Kaiseki). It's like Western food, with a series of front, middle and back dishes, but they are all Japanese-style. I've eaten a lot of cooking combinations that I haven't seen before. The people around are basically Japanese people who come on vacation, and there are many parent-child activities with children. The immersion in local life is full.

Weekend trip to Izu. I made a guide online in advance. In fact, Izu will be more beautiful in spring, during the cherry blossom season. But winter also has a different flavor. So I came here specially from Tokyo without making much preparation, but when I got here I found that Izu didn’t require you to make any preparations. This is a place to relax and purify your soul. There are not many B&Bs and restaurants in the village. I was lucky enough to meet the proprietress of this B&B. She came to greet us as soon as we got off the car. It felt like we were back at home. They also helped with luggage. The schedule of the hot springs was also very reasonable. They used mountain spring water, which was very moist and warm. The room was made of tatami mats with a traditional Japanese style, which was very warm and retro. The village started to get quiet around eight o'clock in the evening. After dinner, I took a walk on the mountain road to catch the wind and returned to the hotel to rest. When I woke up in the morning, I opened the window and breathed in the fresh air. Then I ordered a Shanghai big wonton with fried dough sticks made by my aunt, and listened to my aunt’s entrepreneurial story in Japan for decades. I feel so happy. I am very lucky to have found such a treasure B&B. I hope I can come here again in the summer to experience the summer in Miyazaki's paintings~

Such a spectacular place to stay! The owners are extremely friendly. They are there when you need (during check in, morning of check out) but leave a lot of privacy to the guests. The unit is very well appointed, with all amenities prepared. There's a separate study/office where you can work if needed. The den overlook the pond of the shrine 50m from the residence. There is a full kitchen which we definitely enjoyed making and having dinner and breakfast there. Would go back again.

If you loves tatami style then you’ll definitely love this hotel. Very nice staff with alots of body language to explain everything that you dont understood. For own drive guest, 1000yen per night for parking. Walking distance to beach.
