Located in a quiet neighborhood, this homestay was really comfortable to live in! It is around a 7-10min from Tamade station or Kishinosato-tamade Nankai line station! Right next to the nankai line station is a neighbourhood food street! great for breakfast and offers freshly made sushi, with a 24hr supermarket that sells cheap instant meals, or even meat if you want to cook in the homestay (which u can!). i booked this for my family with around 7 people and we stayed comfortably, everything was brand new since we were the first customer after their renovation :) super lucky to be able to get such a homestay at this price! I really liked the japanese style room upstairs since its lined with tatami mats, and although the stairs are pretty steep, theres still a nice bedroom downstairs w 2 beds that my grandma could use easily :D 2nd floor bedroom had a lot more space to put our luggages too, and the eating area was just enough for about 4 people. host was nice and responsive to enquiries, and provided 2 charging adapters, as well as board games! was generally a very nice and affordable stay :)
Guest House Rice Chikko

Osaka Bay
It is a rare ”private room type & TV) in the guest house. (It's small.) The owner was kind and friendly, and he also taught me about the color 々 nearby shops. (Since it is not a hotel, it is not suitable for those who want ”perfect”.) There is also a washing machine, so I think it is convenient for ”people who do laundry at a travel destination” like me. Of course, there is also Wi-Fi. By the way, the shower room is ”2”. (For measures such as cancellation without permission, ”only one card payment option”. Please understand that point and should be used ...) Check-in is ”until 10 pm”. It's an essential item in the guest house.
KIX House Waraku Hall 2

The room we got was a double futon on the east room upstair, as we love the traditional Japanese style. The small space has all the convenient with shared space in common area, small kitchen, bathroom and washer and dryer in the same room. Everything were tidy and functionally used all the space avail. Great water pressure and temp for the shower. The host thought of everything and provided every information avail for us tourist to use. Distance is not too far from Rinku-town station. Only cons (out of everyone control) the stair leading to the station has no elevator, which will be challenging for people with large suitcase. We are light traveler, which is not too bad for our case. Overall, great little space and affordable, short ride to Kansai Airport and save time traveling to the airport, which is a great plus since security check in at Kansai may take up to 90 mins to get through.

I had a lovely stay at Jakotel. I booked for 5 nights and it was one of the best hostel experiences I have ever had. It is not a social hostel but there is a small hangout area on the 2nd floor. The hostel is strategically located in a quiet area of Namba - super close to the subway, kuromon market, and the bustling area of dotonbori. It is also walking distance to many tourist attractions, and there is a laundromat closeby. I'd definitely stay again in the future.
S-Dotonbori Hotel Namba - Self Check-In Only

Dotonbori
We didnt get the right code to access to the unit, fortunately we met some other tenants in front of the elevator and told us that he got email on the day he checked in which we never received any. The only thing we received days before was the booking confirmation email with a 4digit code which we thought it was the access code. After being stranded for hours and we tried to contact trip.com, finally we received the email with complete instructions. I brought kids and old folks and it was raining on that day, there were noone to help and no seats for waiting. And it was the day after long flights we took from overseas. Well we wont come back or recommend anyone to this hotel though it has a good location and the unit is considered clean and complete amenities.
Hotel Amaterrace Nippombashi-Higashi

Shinsaibashi/Namba/Yotsubashi
Staff impressions: Matter of fact, good command of english, helpful. Room amenities: we stayed in a Japanese style room. It felt *very* recently updated. Tatami was fresh, wood looked new, en suite bathroom was very modern. Had a TV, mini-fridge, safe, microwave, induction cooktop (but no pans). Beds were futons, clean, new, pretty typical in terms of comfort. Ductless heater/AC. Room oddities, if you're not from Japan or haven't traveled in Japan before: 1) The lights/AC/power will not turn on until you drop your key in a slot on the wall by the door. 2) There is a panel on the wall that has a number in Celsius. This is the temperature control for the how tater heater for your bathroom. If you don't turn this on before your shower you won't get hot water! :) 3) The overhead light *can* be turned off at night. One of the remote controls in the room is the controller for the overhead light. Don't take your key out to turn off the light, it'll kill your AC/heat. 4) The level of service you typically receive in a Japanese hotel room like all linens replaced every day, bathroom stuff (toothbrush, toothpaste, soaps, shoes, etc.) being replaced, etc. will not happen. Didn't bother me as I don't care for that but it might be off putting if you're used to it but the price is great. 5) Ductless AC/heater is controlled with a remote control. Location: About 900m to the closest train station which can be a haul with your bags. Super close to Nippombashi which was a big selling point for us. Kinda on a side street so quiet and empty at night.
Royal Heights Sakuragawa Condominium

Shinsaibashi/Namba/Yotsubashi
The location is OK, one stop away from Shinsaibashi, and the bus is very convenient. The room is very clean, with an induction cooker and pot, a refrigerator, and a microwave, so you can cook something. The shower and toilet are separate, and the toilet is in a separate cabin. It has a small balcony, and the glass door of this balcony is not soundproof. The sound of various cars outside is a bit noisy at night, racing cars, ambulances, fire trucks, and police cars are humming one by one... I am a light sleeper, and the noise makes me sleep poorly. Ctrip's customer service is very good, and they reply to any questions in a timely manner, which makes me feel very at ease. At first, I couldn't open the door by pressing the password, and the customer service was very patient to help communicate. Later, I suddenly found the building number on the wall at the lower left corner of the building entrance, and then I realized that I had gone to the wrong place.
KONJAKUSO Osaka Tempozan "IKESU" Projection Mapping SPA

Lovely Japanese style apartment. We are a family of five and we felt we had more than enough room for our three nights. We were in Osaka primarily for Universal Studio so this accommodation was very convenient. The apartment sits in a quiet area, a bit far from the city center - there is a metro station nearby. The Japanese style tub, full kitchen, Nintendo switch, POLA products and projector makes the experience even better. Fully enjoyed the experience and would definitely recommend this place to large groups/families.

Shinsaibashi/Namba/Yotsubashi
I stayed in the hotel for a night and was satisfied with what it has to offer. The hotel is affordable and Dotonburi is walking distance away. The hotel room was clean, water dispenser and amenities are provided at the reception level. The only downside was the size of the room which leaves little space for walking if you open up you luggage on the floor. Other than that, if you are on a budget, isn’t fussy about space and wants to stay somewhere clean and in a good location, I would recommend this hotel.

Uehommachi/Tennoji/Southern Osaka
The house is very clean, comfortable and well-equipped with all sorts of appliances. In reality it looks excatly the same as in the photos. Very nice japanese style tatami room. The location is very convinient just less a few minutes by foot from JR and metro stations. The only recommendation for travellers is to have socket adapters as all sockets are of japanese standard. We can definitely recommend this property for large families and groups to stay in Osaka.
