Butlers Townhouse

A beautiful Dublin townhouse in leafy Ballsbridge. Only a 2 minute walk to Landsdowne road to the Aviva Stadium and the Dart rail service. A 5 minute walk both ways to some lovely restaurants, cafes and bars so an ideal location. I stayed here because I had a Visa appointment at the US embassy which is also only a 5 minute stroll from the hotel door. The room was clean and very spacious, high ceilings and large windows. Microwave and fridge in the lounge which came in very handy as we had brought our own breakfast. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. Only negative was one of the curtains in the bedroom seemed to have come off its rail and was half hanging down and could not be fixed because the window was too high!! However it just about covered the window to block the street lights so no big deal. Just to note, check out is 10am which is earlier than other hotels and the cleaners were knocking on the door at 9.55 so it's pretty much on the dot!!

This really is an absolute gem of a hotel. We were given such a warm and friendly welcome. The hotel is spotless and beautifully decorated. Our room was a standard room but the furnishings and complementary goods gave it a luxury feel. The bed was super comfortable with soft linens and huge fluffy pillows. The hotel had thought of everything including umbrellas to borrow for the typical Irish weather. We were able to easily walk into the heart of Temple Bar. The breakfast served was unbelievably delicious and lots of it! All freshly cooked from a vast menu. This is a family run hotel and the personal flare really shows. Can’t wait to return!
FlyOver Bed and Breakfast

This B&B was much better than a hotel. Thanks to the warm welcome by Tom I felt at home immediately. The room and bathroom were large, clean and comfortable. From the airport the bus stops very close to the B&B and also goes to the City Centre very often. The hot breakfast was delicious and freshly, you could choose from three options. As a tea lover I was happy with more than 20 kinds of teas, coffee was available too. Although the B&B is located at a busy road, our room no 4 at the back was quite. If I visit Dublin again I will choose Flyover B&B again.

In order to facilitate self-service check-in, there was no staff at the hotel. There was only the self-service check-in process, email and phone. However, I had never received an access code before. No one answered the phone and emailed. Finally, other guests came back and let me in. I kept calling and waiting. Finally, one of the three calls was answered, but I didn't know the reservation information, so I kept waiting. Finally, half an hour later, I received a reply email. I waited for an hour just to get in. If you don't have this service capability, don't do self-service check-in.

Excellent hotel, great service and only 5 minutes walk to Landsdowne station that you can reach city centre within 15 minutes. The room is very nice and you can enjoy free coffee and tea, playing board game in the evening. The honourable system for whiskey bar is bdonus and the complimentary breakfast is very delicious. One thing I have to mention is that no air conditioning for the room but it's not bothering me in Dublin's weather.

It's an excellent guest house that doesn't break your pocket with us travelling with our son. We booked a triple room and we have a car so the place is perfect. Staff (family owned) are really friendly and helpful, location is close to many things including buses. Our heater wasn't working overnight so it was a bit cold for us. It doesn't take away how nice the place is though. Will stay again.
Pembroke Townhouse

Pembroke Townhouse was a gem. The people working the desk were kind and helpful. They provided information about getting around and things to see and do. The space was clean and full of charm. It’s a bit out of the hustle and bustle of downtown which allows for a quiet and more local feel.

Very good experience. The lady boss is very nice. She waited for me at the front desk until 10pm when my flight was delayed, and upgraded my room for free! It was already very good to be able to stay in a single room that is not a living room or a youth hostel at this price. After the upgrade, it was a large room with a double bed, a single bed, and a private bathroom. The decoration is very beautiful, with white, dark green and wood tones. I am so lucky to live in such a good place.
