It's worthy of being called Xipo. The service and the room are so good.
Taking advantage of the off-peak season, I came alone to experience the Yellow River Homestay. Each homestay has a different decoration style. I chose Xipo on the recommendation of my friend and was very satisfied. The facilities and services corresponding to this price are really worth it. The price of two nights in the off-season is equivalent to the price of a normal night. The hair dryer is Dyson, and the toiletries are all from the laboratory. There are also beer + drinks in the mini bar, freshly ground coffee, and freshly made bread (forgot to take a picture). The sea salt rolls are super delicious, and the scones are also good, not sweet at all, which suits my taste.
The whole homestay is very quiet, close to the Yellow River, and there are trails. If there are many people at night, you can drink, eat barbecue and watch the stars by the Yellow River.
The service of private butler Xiaoying is really excellent. She will contact the guests about three days before you check in and help arrange some matters, such as car pick-up, introduction of food, drink and entertainment nearby, food, drink and entertainment in Zhongwei, and travel photography needs. She will also recommend it. After check-in, she will also take meticulous care of the guests. She deserves 100 points. Such a niche place is highly recommended for family and couple travel. If you go to Zhongwei, you must stay at Huanghe Suji to experience the local traditional customs.

Guest UserI like the hotel lobby very much, and even gave me a souvenir. The parking lot is very large, so you can park wherever you like. The toiletries could be upgraded, especially shower caps for each room.

Guest UserWatching the Milky Way from inside a desert tent was an amazing experience! We played in the sand and went sandboarding during the day, and enjoyed a bonfire and fireworks display at night – the atmosphere was incredible. The owner was very punctual with pick-up and drop-off, and the ability to shower in the desert was a pleasant surprise. The photos were amazing, I'll definitely come back!

Guest UserThis self-guided desert tour is absolutely amazing! The desert scenery is majestic and magnificent, and the afterglow of the setting sun shines on the golden sand dunes, as beautiful as a painting. The campsite facilities are complete and the staff are warm and caring. The food is diverse, the roasted whole lamb is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, and the aroma is overflowing. Camel riding, sand boarding and other activities are super exciting. Moreover, the self-guided itinerary is free and allows you to deeply experience the charm of the desert. Highly recommended, looking forward to coming again next time!

Guest UserThis Mercure hotel by Donghu Lake is amazing! The lakeside scenery is absolutely stunning, and the rooms are well-equipped and clean, with 24-hour AC and hot water. The huge floor-to-ceiling windows let you watch the starry sky and sunrise without even leaving your room. The terrace also has a great vibe and is perfect for photos. The bonfire, fireworks, and firework show add a touch of romance. The service is attentive and thoughtful; the butler was very responsive and quick to resolve any issues. The environment is quiet and peaceful, making it incredibly relaxing to return to your room after exploring Donghu Lake. Being able to participate in the evening bonfire party and firework show was a real treat!

Before I went, I looked at the pictures very beautiful. Because of temporary overtime, it was dark at the hotel and missed the sunset, but I was shocked by the warm lights and stars of the hotel. It was really like a fairy tale cabin! ! The toiletries in the room also smelled good lavender! Although I can’t pick grapes in winter, there is no bonfire. The weather is a bit cold, but it’s worthwhile to see this beautiful starry sky. I also met our Dali fellow sister here. It’s really not easy to meet fellows in Yinchuan. I hope I have the opportunity to find you again in the future! My friend also gave a ”northwest is much more fun than the northeast” evaluation. Overall, the experience is very good. The room is very beautiful and warm. The hot red wine is very delicious. The breakfast is exquisite and delicious. I look forward to picking grapes in summer and autumn! !

Wenheng1996This place is perfect for families with kids! It's a winery homestay where you can even taste wine. It's a great escape from the city hustle and bustle. The courtyard is absolutely beautiful, with stunning views everywhere you look. My daughter had a blast playing on the swing and fishing 🥳. We booked the 'Manshang Family Room' which has a large terrace and offers a lake view as soon as you open the window. The room itself was clean and tidy, and the bedding was so comfortable I didn't want to get up. The bathroom features a fully smart toilet and even disposable toilet seat covers. The food at the downstairs restaurant was also delicious! We even ordered some to take away for the road, haha. After dinner, we had a wine tasting activity. The instructor gave us a tour of the winery and we got to sample wines according to our preferences. We even DIY-ed our favorite flavors and designed our own wine labels to take home for free. Getting around is also very convenient, with many attractions nearby. It's especially close to Zhenbeibao West Studio, Manpu Town, and the Western Xia Imperial Tombs.

Guest UserWe thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this family run guesthouse. There is a lovely courtyard where you can relax and meet other guests. The breakfast was delicious. The decorations around the property are beautiful. The room was large, clean and well equipped.
Our lovely host helped organise our taxi to the forest park, as well as our onward bus journey to Pingliang.
We highly recommend this homestay.

The value-for-money living experience, both the environment and the service, have brought us unforgettable travel memories. Although we were in a hurry, it was rare to feel a moment of tranquility and warmth here. If I have the opportunity to go to Zhongwei in the future, I will definitely continue to patronize it. I look forward to the homestay business being prosperous and becoming more and more popular!
