I'm so glad I booked this amazing hotel! The location is absolutely fantastic – it's incredibly close to Pingjiang Road and Chang Street, just a 5-minute walk away. Plus, there's a great craft beer bar only two minutes on foot. I genuinely love this hotel so much that I would definitely return to Suzhou just to stay here again. Our room was also perfect: very spacious and spotlessly clean. The front desk staff were exceptionally friendly. They even went the extra mile, reminding us to take an umbrella when it rained and kindly lending us one.

The room was exceptionally clean, and the traditional garden-style architecture was truly captivating. Our duplex room was impressively spacious with plenty of room to relax, and the beds were neatly made. The owner was incredibly kind and welcoming. The drinks offered here are delicious and very reasonably priced! Plus, they can be delivered right to your room, which was incredibly convenient. It was quite hot during our stay, so we especially appreciated the complimentary sour plum juice and mint water provided to guests – a truly thoughtful touch that made our experience superb. We even asked the owner for ice cups for our cocktails, which she happily provided – fantastic service! The guesthouse is conveniently located by the road, close to various attractions and convenience stores. On either side, you'll find authentic local eateries serving delicious snacks like Shengjian for breakfast. Both the Humble Administrator's Garden and Suzhou Museum are just a five-minute walk away. It was perfect to be able to retreat to the comfort of our room for a break when the afternoon heat became too much.

Overall an enjoyable and relaxing one night stay at this tiny cosy hotel in Zhouzhuang, for our final leg of our 6 days Suzhou trip. We took a didi over to Zhouzhuang, which was faster and cheaper than I expected, just a little over half an hour. The hotel staff called me the day before to arrange for pick-up near the watertown ticket office. Actually I can't speak Mandarin and their English wasn't too good but we ended up chatting on Wechat as Wechat has a built-in translate function in their chat. So, 15 minutes before we arrive, we just had to let them know on Wechat. And the staff is already waiting for us, helped us with the luggage and guided us through the ticket buying process. You do have to pay for the ¥100 RMB ticket to get into the watertown and the ticket is good for 3 days. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the entrance. I picked this hotel because it was right inside the watertown and it had the ancient Chinese interior, although all the amenities are modern, including a robust and high-tech Kohler smart toilets in each bathroom. There is a nice coffee shop inside the hotel and the coffee shop owner is friendly and takes his coffee craft seriously. The hotel gives you 2 free drinks during your stay and the coffee menu is quite extensive. If the hotel rooms are not booked on that day, we are told the hotel opens their doors to coffee customers. The hotel owner is actually younger than I expected so I am impressed she meticulously created this authentic experience and the attention to detail. She was friendly and helpful and was open to accommodating our needs. We booked the entire 2nd floor, which was 3 bedrooms and we had 6 adults in our group. This tiny hotel only has 3 bedrooms so if you booked all 3 rooms, you pretty much get the entire hotel to yourselves which include the first floor which is spacious and comfy. When I visit Zhouzhuang again, I am looking forward to stay here again. It's certainly not cheap, but you do get what you pay for - which is people passionate about hospitality (in a Chinese way) and also a hygiene and staying experience that is certainly up to international standards.

The location is excellent as it is just a stone throw away from Guanqian Street. Plenty of good food (local delicacies) nearby. We enjoyed our stay as the staff was hospitable in checking with us amenities that need to be replenished. However, for the room type that we have chosen (with loft), it is not suitable for people who are above 1.7m height as we knocked on our head every day due to the ceiling structure. It would also be good that if the homestay's shower head water flow could be stronger.

If you want a classic ”Shouzhou Garden Hotel” experience with a family feel. this is it!!! The boss himself is doing the gardening, service, even the bell boy task. (he carried our suitcase to the car pick up spot due to May 1 crowds, the shuttle could not drive through :-) The room is beautifully decoed in chinese style furniture, the garden is gorgeous. and the add on free ”shouzhou traditional opera, singing and talk show ” are performed in the garden, blended in with its beautiul garden setting. only suggestion is do avoid Chines public holiday season, beside tripled hotel cost, the water village at the door step lost a bit atmosphere with shoulder to shoulder tourists:-) But the hotel is top notch!!!

The staff are very friendly and do their best to accommodate any requests. The location is excellent, situated very close to a subway station entrance. There are also many attractions nearby, such as canal cruises, as well as numerous restaurants within walking distance. One downside is that the hotel occupies only part of a multi-purpose building—specifically the 5th, 6th, and 7th floors—so it might be a bit difficult to find at first. The room was clean and tidy, no smell, the lobby amusement facilities were enough for one afternoon, there was a small swimming pool in the backyard, the children played, the experience was very good, and will come again

The ambiance is wonderful, the room is very spacious and spotlessly clean, making it ideal for clearing your mind and relaxing. The owner is incredibly warm and welcoming, and the service is exceptionally attentive. The guesthouse is situated in a very tranquil location. We'll definitely be coming back!

The air conditioning in the room I first stayed in was only 28.5℃ at its lowest. I asked to change rooms, and they asked me to pay a cleaning fee, which I had to do. The air conditioning was working fine after I changed rooms. The service was very unprofessional. They told me a lot, but I felt like I was staying here for free. When I asked to return the deposit, I had to waste my time... This is the worst apartment B&B I've ever stayed in!
