The hotel is located in the very center of the city. If you exit the hotel you are on the main road of nightlife. There are many restaurants, street food and a supermarket nearby. It was a little difficult to find as you have to take the elevator to the third floor. Alternatively you can access the entrance by going to the third floor and walking some stairs. The staff was very friendly and half of them spoke English. Check in and out was hassle-free. The room was very spacious and clean. It has an AC which unfortunately blows directly on the bed even on the lowest setting (even after tinkering for a long time with the settings). So you are better off just shutting it off during the night. The room service was good and the room was cleaned daily. We also were supplied with fresh water. The hotel itself has a small area for free tea and coffee which we really appreciated. As the hallways are semi open smoking is allowed there. And there was no smell whatsoever (probably because it is so open). It even has a small balcony at the back with a view on the temple (great for pictures). I can totally recommend this hotel!

On the day we checked out, we were supposed to go to a meetup point for our Li River cruise to Yangshuo. It was raining and hampered our short walk to the meetup point. Jerry who was on duty that morning, got a taxi for us to go to the meeting point. He refused to accept my payment for the cab ride. So nice of him. Unfortunately all cruises were cancelled due to strong wind. Jerry helped me to get my refund back. I didn't have a WeChat account which made things difficult. He asked me to contact the staff in my hotel in Yangshuo to get back my money. He is so responsible. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who's looking for accommodation in Guilin.

Melody made our stay seamless. She booked us a tour guide, Alan, who was perfect for showing us around. The facility is nice, calm, and conveniently close to the Reed Flute Cave. The food is fine, and the overall experience makes for a truly enjoyable holiday.

This B&B was beyond my expectations. First, I didn't expect that at such a cheap price, the room facilities were very complete and the service was very good, and it was very clean. The room was also built against the mountain, and the window of Tianshuo Eye was beautiful. Unfortunately, it rained this time and I didn't experience the free Hanfu rental, and I couldn't take beautiful photos. There were snacks and fruits in the afternoon, desserts in the evening, and you could play with them. The emotional value was very good. In addition, the location is very convenient. It is 3 minutes away from Gongnong Bridge, and many attractions around can be reached by walking. The location is really convenient. Although there are few varieties of breakfast, the millet porridge is very fragrant, and the rice noodles taste very good.

We have a great stay. The hotel was set up to provide the best experience for a family who wants to enjoy the beautiful Yangshuo area. On the first floor, you have a gorgeous lobby and a play area for the children. To accommodate the wondering minds of the kids, the hotel provided multiple acres of lawn for the kids to run around and enjoy. Then there are the bunnies. They are cute and their enclosure is cleaned daily. The room we had had a ball pit and an indoor tent for my girls to play in and they put them into good use for sure. On the fourth floor is the laundry. You will only see washers but they have the hanging type driers to dry your clothes in addition to normal hangers. The top floor features a small restaurant with a spectacular view of the Yulong River and Karst features behind it. The food is good and easily tastier than most of the street side restaurants out there and features dishes common and famous to the area, we had the beer fish and the stir fried mushrooms. It was savory and priced well below what they charge on West Street. On our third day, we went out and rented electric scooters around the river and for 35km we went around the hills and through villages. The hotel staff, 小张&小麦, welcomed us with warm smiles and drove us to west street for some dinner and shopping. What an awesome trip, this hotel was an highlight!

It was amazing to stay in this hotel, right next to the Sun and Moon Twin Towers. There is an ancient waterwheel at the entrance of the hotel. There is a scent of tea after entering the lobby. There is also a small children's playground on the first floor, which is convenient for guests with children. The room is clean and sanitary, and the facilities are all new. It can be seen that it has been renovated not long ago.

This hotel is worth writing a review. The hotel is the best looking around the area. It is on the opposite side of the 西街 food street. For location, you can give a 3 stars but you can give it 10stars. Because tour is about experience and this hotel provides the experience for taking a small noisy ferry across to the opposite side which is a tremendous experience of us and the kids. The ride is only 5minutes and you can check from the hotel room (window) to see if the boat has arrived. The swimming pool onlooking the mountain is breathtaking and this hotel definitely has the wow factor. Hotel looks new and trendy. Flashing sound from the toilet and some noise coming from the other rooms can be heard. I suggest hotel staff should explain to stayer to keep their volume down during check-in. I think it is quite understandable and customer should accept that since Yangshuo is considered a scenic area in the rural area. Enjoyable stay!

The stay at SYYF was one of the best hotels I’ve ever been to. The room is cozy and spacious, with gorgeous floor to ceiling windows with a great view of the mountains. It’s also a hi tech smart room with a voice controlled assistant, Xiaodu, that can control the lights and open/shut the curtains (though it only understands Chinese). There’s also a cute tea set which is great for relaxing by the window. The room is equipped with AC and heat that works great, and the lights can go from bright to a dimmer evening mode, as well as sleep. We also got complimentary sodas, extremely cozy robes and nice house shoes for lounging. The breakfast is served 8-10AM is was definitely one of the best we have experienced in China while traveling. It was robust and offered both regional and western cuisine. There is a lot of ongoing construction on the street that the property is on so be careful. It may be a bit of traffic congestion due to large machines, however the noise was not heard from our room. It might be challenging for Didi drivers to access but there are also e-scooters for rent for about 30 yuan per day. The hotel is surrounded by mountains which are lit up at night for a gorgeous landscape at any time. The welcome photoshoot was fun, with traditional clothes you can borrow. We spent about 30-45 minutes using different props across 3 locations on the property, and got tons of photos that we loved. The staff is so accommodating and responsive and they helped with every little question. The bring lots of thoughtful small pleasantries which added a special touch and made us feel very cherished. They also offered a free shuttle for our departure ride to the train station at the end of our stay. We came in early January and the weather was chilly at night and pleasant during the day. With a jacket it’s not too bad and on a sunny day it’s pleasant with a cool breeze. We had a massage too, which you can order to your room or go to the spa which is close, and they provide shuttle service. The massage was good but a bit pricey even with the 50% off. There are less expensive places in the town not too far away. West street is a popular tourist spot which is also close, about 15-20 minutes away by e-scooter. There’s plenty of shopping, restaurants and a little night life, but we didn’t go out during this trip. 10/10 experience and I would definitely recommend staying here! I can’t imagine staying anywhere else when I come back to Yangshuo, and this place makes you REALLY want to come back!

A well kept and comfortable place along the river.  The place had a small laundry room, which was complimentary.  They offer a modest breakfast and operate a coffee bar.  A cute cat is resident in the lobby.  It is walking distance from a few local restaurants.  About a mile’s walk will put you close to several tourist attractions.  It is far enough away so there is little traffic or noise at night. The staff is most friendly and attentive. I would definitely stay here again. No mosquitoes and AC was quiet and easily controlled.

I would say, this place is good for solo as I was provided a room with privacy even though with common bathroom. It is clean to share. To me, it is a waste to rent a queen bed for 2 adults. So I am happy. The managers are very helpful when my stomach was upset. She gave me Chinese medicine to help me even though it didn’t help me. I am happy to meet nice people & guests. Guests are helpful, German guy passed me the charcoal tablet. It really help me on the next before I depart to next destination. People that we met during the trip is important.

We stayed in Yangshuo for two days this time, and chose this hotel first. We also saw it online. We originally wanted to stay for one day to see how it was. It felt good, so we stayed in this hotel for two days. It was very convenient to travel. It was very close to the West Street of Shilihualang. The small electric donkey we rented was also very powerful. On the first day, we chose a landscape room on the 8th floor. There was a large platform on the 8th floor, where we could take pictures of the water and sky. It was a pity that it rained heavily on the second day. After the rain stopped, we still went to the platform to take a lot of beautiful photos. The hotel is basically surrounded by mountains on both sides. The service is also very good. It is very quiet. I am satisfied

Location is inside an alley and not easy to find although West Street is only 100m away. Blazing loudspeakers noise from busy West Street can be heard at night. Its a small 4 storey hotel with only 12 rooms and no elevator. The front reception ladies are approachable and friendly.

Staff was extremely nice and helpful, even helped us reserve e-scooters. The hotel is built right on top of a great and popular restaurant. Rooms are really nice. Location is great, only a three minute walk from the wharf (which was great because we had a lot of luggage) and also a three minute walk from West Street which is a lively pedestrian street with a great night market, and basically the heart of Yangshuo.

Great experience!!! -The hotel is in the villa area, very private but very quiet -The location requires navigation, it is still easy to find after a steep slope. There is also an electric car rental service on the way to the hotel -The environment is very good and very quiet. The small courtyard with a balcony has a good view. The room is very clean and has a small refrigerator. There are free happy water and some tea bags -The hotel staff is very good. They help with luggage and ask about the stay experience from time to time. There are even free good night desserts! ! ! -The hotel is not particularly remote. It is near the residential area. There are also delicious rice noodle shops nearby -Highly recommend everyone to stay here! ! !

Yard No. 1 is located in the core scenic area of ​​Longji Terraces, very close to many viewing platforms, and the hotel provides free pick-up and drop-off. The room is very clean. The room has no smell, and there are no hairs on the bedding. In fact, you can tell from the bathroom that the cleaning is not perfunctory. The 270-degree view is very good and relatively quiet. When you open the curtains in the morning, you can see the mirror terraced fields on the balcony. I stayed in three homestays, and the food in this one was the most delicious. The chili sauce with the meal was especially delicious. The customer service was very enthusiastic and gave me a souvenir before I left. The homestay will help with the round trip from the Jinkeng Dazhai parking lot to the homestay. When we left, we asked the customer service to help us contact a chartered car, 350 including the highway fee to the vicinity of Guilin Xiangshan Park

Love my stay, proprietors were welçoming, clean, had family meals, upgraded at no cost, hot water, heater great room patio views. The negative experience and *not connected with the hotel were the aggressive ethnic women vendors, they lie about their products, use guilt trip and aggression to try to get you to buy. I certainly don't want the lump them all together but in my seven encounters it was 100%, perhaps it's a cultural thing. I've told my proprietor and hopefully she'll warm them that it's harmful fleecing and being unpleasant.

The service has been excellent. The owner, despite not speaking English, has been very helpful, helping us at all times with anything and always with a smile. The hotel has very good views, directly on the rice terraces and with a very decent community space. The quality-price ratio is excellent, highly recommended.

The family who run are very accommodating and friendly. They’re on the lower part of the village which is good because not so many stairs to climb up to reach them, but the view is just the side of the rice terraces not overlooking them all. They helped us carry our bags up and were quick to supply us with whatever we were lacking. The rooms were very clean and new, nice woodsy smell, and excellent views of greenery outside. We loved sitting out on the balcony in the evening, it’s so quiet and dark with the sounds of a small waterfall and frogs. She made us breakfast according to our time schedule, really delicious traditional rice noodles with fried eggs. We had dinner there one evening too and really liked her style of cooking. We all agreed it was the best rice we’ve had in China! I would definitely recommend staying!

The design of the homestay is very beautiful. I am a person who is quite hygienic about the homestay. The room is really clean and tidy, and the facilities are well equipped. Going to the Longji Rice Terraces during the Qingming Festival does not seem to be a good choice. You can clearly see the rice terraces along the way. The time is counted in seconds. The owner of the B&B went to the parking lot to pick us up and help us with our luggage. Since we were the only family staying, it was free of charge. I helped to upgrade the room. When you open the door, you can see the terraced fields. The wooden structure of the house still has a faint scent of wood. The boss's stir-fried bacon with dried bamboo shoots is delicious. I recommend it. The name of the B&B is embroidered on the pillowcases and towels.

The name of the hostel is One Family, and that is exactly what you will get here, since the second day I found myself sitting at the table with the whole family running the place feeling sort of part of this family. On top of that, the owner is part of the local minority living in Ping'ancun, so culturally it doesn't get more authentic than this! But what I truly want to stress is the kindness and helpfulness of the owner's son (whose name I unfortunately have forgotten). He gave me a lot of interesting insights about the history and culture of Ping'ancun, which was truly fascinating. In addition, he gave me advice about my travels, and, ultimately, I would follow his tips seeing some of the most outstanding places in China. So, if you need info and tips about a China travel itinerary, you are also at a good place here. Lastly, the room was like being in a hut on top of a mountain. Surely not as luxurious as other hotels in the area, yet again if you look for something authentic, go here.

Hygiene: The room was very clean! Environment: The decoration is in wooden style, and the furniture is made of solid old ship wood, which is heavy and has a good texture. The doors and windows are triple-layered for sound insulation, keeping warm, windproof and soundproof. The air conditioner is on in the winter night and the room is very warm. Service: The owner and his family are very hospitable. They upgraded our room for free and are very pet-friendly. I enjoyed gathering around the fireplace in the hall to keep warm, roast oranges and drink tea. The rice is delicious, I recommend the stir-fried local chicken, it’s so delicious, the ingredients are very fresh! Five stars to recommend this hotel!
