Hotel near Tianshui City Square,Tianshui
It may not be green mountains and clear waters, but it may also be the dim lights, slowly savoring the fireworks in the Qingwaguan Lane. This homestay is located in the courtyard of No. 4 Xinmin Lane in Tianshui Ancient City. It is close to the central square of the ancient city, with a comfortable environment and convenient transportation. The homestay is decorated mainly in log style, with exquisite woven accessories, and the room design is ingenious, with both traditional classical charm and modern comfort. Whether it is a spacious and bright twin room or a warm and romantic double room, you can feel the warmth and comfort of home. Here, you can unload all your fatigue and enjoy a quiet and comfortable life. When night falls, sit in the yard, cook wine and fry tea, and look up to see the stars, as if time has slowed down, making people forget the troubles of the world. The hotel is a 5-minute walk from Fuxi Temple. The central square and Haiying Malatang are a 10-minute walk away, with convenient travel, welcome to you!

"Had a great stay. It was off-season, so there weren't many tourists in Tianshui. The B&B is located inside the ancient city, with unique decor. Downstairs, you'll find all sorts of food options. The water heating system ensures no cold water, so it's instantly hot even in winter. The heating was excellent, felt like central air conditioning, and it wasn't noisy. The room was spacious and clean. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. Fuxi Temple is not far away. A quick note on parking: there are two underground parking garages nearby. One is the Ancient City parking lot, and the other is the Cuijiaxiang parking lot. Strangely, the location the B&B gave me led me to Cuijiaxiang the first night, but then the same location led me to the Ancient City parking lot when I left. The Ancient City lot seemed a tiny bit closer. Both aren't too far, but it's best to confirm with the owner directly. I was contacted proactively by the host around 7 PM on the night I arrived in Tianshui. If you're visiting for tourism, I highly recommend staying here!"

Hotel near Mingsha Mountain and Crescent Moon Spring,Dunhuang
"Overall a wonderful stay at Oasis Glamping. I can think of so many pros after staying here for 3 days/2 nights. There are only 2 things I wish were a slight bit better but it’s definitely just small things. Pros: 1. The staff is super welcoming and attentive. I had a warm welcome when I checked in and you can contact the staff at any time of the day and they are always super helpful. 2. The location of Oasis Glamping is also wonderful. It gives the feeling you are at a luxury private resort in the desert. Once you arrive at the front desk a driver picks you up and drives you into the desert about 1km from the front desk. It’s a short drive but it really allows you to actually feel the desert. Also going to Mingsha mountain and crescent lake is only about a 10 minute drive away. 3. Rooms are clean and cozy. I stayed in the R room and the room was extremely clean when I arrived, views were great, the room came with all of the amenities (tv, couches next to a desk that you can adjust the height of, king size bed, big windows next to both sides of the bed that’s perfect for stargazing at night. I was also greeted with instant noodles and 10 bottles of water which was super helpful. 4. Housecleaning was super quick and helpful. Around noon housekeeping would come by and restock your water and instant noodles and toiletries and also do a quick cleaning. Super fast cleaning but it was also super thorough. I’ve tracked some sand into the room and by the time housekeeping was done it was spotless. Also housekeeping staff were super nice and gave tips on when to head outside to avoid the heat and also nearby attractions. 5. Attractions on Oasis Glamping. Unlike a typical hotel, oasis glamping actually offers a few different fun activities most notably sand boarding. Behind where the rooms are, there is mountains of sand which you can climb up with the sandboards that are free to use and are stationed in convenient places. Once you climb up these sand mountains you get some of the most beautiful views especially during sunset. They also offer a free 3 minute ATV ride into the nearby desert and you can buy other packages that offer longer routes and at night there is a campfire with fireworks that occurs a short hike from your room. I think they also offered desert photography but I was too busy enjoying the other activities that I mentioned. 6. Small things that really stood out. After spending a day in the sand you’re very likely to have sand in your hair. The shampoo and conditioners in the showers not only smell great but also doesn’t leave your hair dry which I personally find super helpful. Other small things include having staff deliver your food straight to your room which I was extremely thankful for. Outside of the room there are two small chairs and a decent size camping table which a lot of guest including me used at night to either play cards or simply just sit and stargaze. These are all of the pros of staying here. Below are the 2 cons I talked about above. 1. The toilet is a bit wobbly when you sit on it. Honestly it’s not a huge problem more of just a minor inconvenience. 2. The WiFi is a bit laggy at certain times of the day. But it also makes sense because everyone might be using the same WiFi when they come back to the rooms. So it’s totally understandable and definitely doesn’t ruin the experience of staying here. Overall I would give Oasis Glamping a 10/10! Staff were super nice and staying here was super comfortable and I definitely would stay here again when I come back to Dunhuang. If you are looking for a place to stay in Dunhuang I highly recommend Oasis Glamping"

"This B&B is really close to Mingsha Mountain and Crescent Lake, which makes getting around super easy. The courtyard has such a lovely vibe, and watching the desert stars come out in the evening while sitting alone was incredibly therapeutic. The room was spotless, making me feel totally safe and secure during my stay. The facilities are great, with plenty of hot water, and the blackout curtains and soundproofing were excellent. The host was incredibly thoughtful, giving me personalized travel tips for solo exploration to help me avoid crowds. The 'Starry Sky King Room' offered fantastic views and was wonderfully quiet at night. Overall, it was a cozy and comfortable stay that truly enhanced my trip experience."

"The room was clean and tidy, and the small courtyard was very comfortable. The weather in Tianshui these past few days has been pleasant, not too hot. The location is excellent, right in the heart of the old city, making it very convenient for sightseeing. The room is spacious and can accommodate an extra bed; it easily fit all four of us. They are also very pet-friendly. I highly recommend this guesthouse to anyone visiting Tianshui, as it offers great value for money."

Zagana Gummot Homestay - a natural aesthetic residence above the clouds In the secret land on the eastern edge of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, at the highest peak of Zagana Dongwa Village, a homestay named after a groundhog is waiting for guests from afar. Zagana Marmot View Homestay is located in an excellent location at an altitude of 3,100 meters above sea level. It is facing the century-old house of Zagana, a national cultural relic protection unit. It is not only a watchman of traditional Tibetan architectural culture, but also an interpreter of modern travel aesthetics. Every floor-to-ceiling window here is a frame facing nature, and every space carries the pursuit of quality life. The 30 viewing rooms of the homestay are divided into two major themes: 15 "cloud balcony rooms" break the spatial boundaries with a 270-degree surround terrace. The original wooden floor extends to the cloudy valley. In the morning, you can embrace the first ray of sunshine in your arms, and you can sleep at night; 15 "panoramic canopy rooms" reconstruct the visual dimension with 180-degree floor-to-ceiling windows. Degree, whether it's sunny or rainy, you can exclusively enjoy the giant screen image of the peaks of the stone city of Zagana. All rooms are equipped with modern facilities, and the intelligent fashion of the city is mixed with the Tibetan national customs. The visual focus of Fairy Beach: the balcony curtain is designed as a lifting curtain, and the sunny day is completely closed, so that the meadow of Fairy Beach becomes the "natural background painting" of the balcony; half covered on rainy days, creating a hazy poetry. Set up a low glass fence on the edge of the balcony (to avoid blocking the view), and with hanging flower baskets to form a "sky garden" and the visual echo of the fairy beach on the ground. At the same time, the real sheepskin seat contrasts with the stove-based tea, giving people a comfortable leisure experience. The balcony is not an isolated space, but an "immersive stage" that is deeply bound to the fairy beach landscape, groundhog ecology and tea culture. Visitors can not only enjoy the private tea table, but also interact with the natural wild interest in real time, forming a differentiated memory point. The bathroom space can be called the invisible medal of the homestay. The dry and wet separation design is matched with the German Duravit smart toilet. The constant temperature seat and self-cleaning fragrance functions show the detailed temperature. The 24-hour instant heating system ensures that you can enjoy the warm package at any time in the cold of the plateau. The special anti-fog mirror reflects the outline of the snowy mountains, so that daily washing becomes a poetic experience. The rapid heating of vertical high-power air conditioners has solved the potential concerns of living on the plateau. The atmosphere of Tibetan fireworks in the morning, starting with a plate of freshly steamed steamed steamed buns, handmade ready-made flower roll steamed buns are fluffy and soft, wrapped in fresh meat stuffing, and the soup is full; the side dishes are selected seasonal vegetables, and the staple food is a bowl of warm rice porridge, which is boiled with dense rice oil over slow heat, which warms the stomach and heart. In the afternoon, the guest room will be thoughtfully served a platter of seasonal fruits, so that the mountain life will add more sweetness of natural gifts. The unique geographical location gives the homestay a triple landscape dimension: to the east, you can overlook the layers of Tibetan wooden houses in Dongwa Village, to the west, you can talk to the iconic stone walls of Zagana through the air, and to the south, you can see the vicissitudes of the century-old house. We are convinced that real luxury lies in a deep dialogue with nature. With the concept of "staying away from the city", Zagana Martmot Homestay reconstructs the boundaries of comfort with intelligent technology while retaining the texture of the original village. From the tip of the tongue to the heart, from the morning dew to the stars, here is the perfect footnote for you to explore Zagana with warm hospitality.

"Thanks to the owner and his family for a wonderful day in Zhagana. We didn't go anywhere, just sat on the balcony with my family, drinking tea and chatting, watching the clouds drift by and the breeze gently swaying the petals. It was refreshing and wonderful. The air in Zhagana in the morning is fresh and moist. It's beautiful here without having to do anything. The hotel room facilities are very useful, with a smart toilet, a vertical air conditioner, a warm shower, and a comfortable bed and pillows."

"The guesthouse was beautiful and unique, with views of the sand dunes. Although it wasn't at the scenic area entrance, the owner offered a shuttle service, which was just a few minutes' walk down a side path, making it relatively convenient. The room had a terrace, was spacious and comfortable, and the young man who managed the place was very friendly and talkative. He even helped us book tickets, which were cheaper than buying them ourselves, and recommended some local restaurants, all of which were delicious. Before leaving, we left some belongings at a hotel, and the owner kindly retrieved them and mailed them to us—a truly thoughtful gesture. Many guesthouses offer nice rooms, but such excellent service is rare."

"This stay was absolutely delightful! I was initially worried about the location being a bit out of the way, so I only booked one night. To my surprise, getting a taxi on the first night was super easy, so we extended our stay. While there aren't other guesthouses right around ours, we noticed a whole street full of guesthouses nearby, which seemed crowded and noisy. At night, lying in bed, you can hear the wind brushing against the walls, but it's not loud; it actually feels like being in harmony with nature. My husband and I also went gold panning – if you find gold coins, you can exchange them for prizes. We went enthusiastically, expecting a small sandbox like in a park, but it was a massive area! **Mingsha Mountain View Afternoon Tea:** The chilled apricot peel tea was delicious. **Fengmingsha Desert Restaurant - 30% off coupon for set meals:** After we landed, the butler collected our luggage and told us hotpot was ready, just waiting for us to freshen up and eat. The lamb wasn't ***** at all, and the dipping sauce was really tasty."

The boss was very enthusiastic. I contacted him one day in advance and waited for us at the station early the next morning. The accommodation was close to the East Gate. We said we were going to Crescent Lake and Mingsha Mountain. The boss took the initiative to drive us to the Middle Gate, saying that we could save 20 yuan on the shuttle bus fare. The next day, we signed up for a tour group to go out and play. The boss also sent us to the boarding point early in the morning. The boss was afraid that it would be inconvenient to go back after the Crescent Lake Music Festival, so he also came to pick us up, making our travel very convenient. The accommodation environment is also very good, and the steamed bun for breakfast is particularly large.

The best aspect of this stay was by far the owner. He was incredibly, incredibly helpful and friendly — from the moment I walked in the door he offered me a cup of tea, then provided tea and bread the next morning for breakfast, offered advice on what to see in the area, arranged a car to take me to Dalzong Lake, and finally even found me a spot on a local minibus going to my next destination. I couldn’t have done half the things I did during my stay in Xiahe without his advice and efforts on my behalf, so that alone made staying here fully worthwhile! It’s worth mentioning that the guesthouse’s architecture is also absolutely beautiful, and everything looks quite new. It’s located down a quiet side alley off of one of the main commercial streets in town, which seems like the ideal placement. On the accommodations: I stayed in one of the two tents erected on the second floor of the guesthouse. This was largely quite a good experience! The bed was very comfortable (with a heated pad), water and towels provided, etc. The tents are not in a closed-off area, but rather on the second floor/balcony area that also is used for sitting, serving tea, etc., so privacy is somewhat limited, but the whole guesthouse is relatively quiet anyway so it doesn’t feel like a public space. My only suggestions for improvement would be related to the bathroom: during my stay, the shared bathroom for the tents was a sort of temporary-style booth installed in the corner of the room with a toilet, sink, and showerhead. The bathroom was very clean and everything inside worked well, but its sliding door separated from the wall enough that there was always a substantial enough space on one side or the other that could be seen through (the door also didn’t lock and slid back and forth easily). The booth was also small enough that, realistically, I think it would be a bit of a challenge to actually use it to shower. If possible it might be worth looking into some simple fixes to improve these situations, but otherwise I have no complaints!

Of course! Here is an extremely positive hotel review crafted from your experience. --- Title: An Unforgettable Oasis of Hospitality - A Solo Traveler's Dream! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I cannot recommend this exquisite home stay highly enough! My five-day visit was nothing short of perfection, from the moment I arrived until my warm departure. As a female solo traveler from abroad, safety and welcome are my top priorities, and this family went above and beyond to make me feel like part of their home. My journey began with a incredibly gracious complimentary pick-up from Dunhuang airport, which immediately eased any travel fatigue. The hospitality only blossomed from there. The host family provided me with such genuine individual attention, offering personalized advice for visiting the breathtaking Crescent Moon Lake and the awe-inspiring Mogao Grottoes. Their tips were invaluable and helped me experience these wonders to the fullest. Now, the food! Each meal was a delight—authentic, home-cooked, and prepared fresh with so much care. It was truly delicious and gave me a real taste of local cuisine. My room was a haven of comfort and cleanliness, kept absolutely spotless throughout my stay. A wonderful daily touch was the replenishment of complimentary beverages: refreshing peach tea, pure water, and delicious coconut water—perfect after a day of exploring the desert. The most touching moment came upon my departure when the hosts presented me with exquisite souvenirs from the Mogao Grottoes. It was a gesture of such kindness and generosity that I will forever cherish. This home stay is a gem, perfectly suited for solo travelers seeking a safe and welcoming environment, couples looking for a unique retreat, or families wanting an authentic experience. I am already counting down the days until I can return next summer. A heartfelt thank you to the most wonderful hosts!

If life is a never-ending journey, then the camping trip at the Desert Star Hotel is undoubtedly a highlight of my journey. When I arrived at the campsite, the first thing that attracted me was the unique tent house. Unlike regular tents, the top of the tent is made of special transparent materials, like a huge viewing platform, which builds a bridge of communication between me and the vast galaxy. As night fell, I couldn't wait to lie on the soft bed, and when I looked up, the bright starry sky was presented to me without reservation. The stars twinkled, like gems inlaid on the black sky, beautiful as a dream. At that moment, the world seemed to press the mute button, and the impetuousness and noise in my heart were instantly soothed. The unique beauty of this quietness made me intoxicated. It is worth mentioning that the hotel staff is very considerate. After placing the order, the customer service guy at the front desk added our contact information and gave us some local travel tips, which saved us a lot of time. From the warm reception at check-in, to the careful guidance during the activities, to the warm greetings at night, every detail made people feel cared for. They not only provided me with thoughtful service, but also made me feel the simplicity and enthusiasm of the desert people. This desert camping trip not only allowed me to appreciate the magnificent scenery of the desert, but also experienced exciting and interesting activities, which became an eternal and beautiful memory in my heart.

Out of our 9-day trip along the Qinghai-Gansu Loop, this homestay was our family's absolute favorite. It's a place with real heart and soul, where every detail is thoughtfully considered. Even our five-year-old said he'd give this hotel 30 stars! The homestay has a great design aesthetic, and the rooms are spotless, perfectly matching the tastes and ideas of younger travelers. We always bring our own disposable toiletries when we travel, but here, everything was already provided in the room. I also really loved the landlady – she's just one of those people you instantly like, and it was so comfortable interacting with her. From the moment we checked into the homestay in Dunhuang, we had such a positive impression of the city. Even though our stay was brief, it's full of beautiful memories. When we were leaving, she found out my child liked apricots and even gave him some from her own yard, which was incredibly touching. The breakfast offered a wide variety, and it was all very enjoyable. I truly recommend this homestay if you're coming to Dunhuang. I hope everyone gets to experience the genuine warmth and hospitality during their travels here. Their raisins are also highly recommended!

This guesthouse is a hidden gem! 1. The location is super convenient, right at the west gate of Mingsha Mountain, just a 1-minute walk away. It was perfect for playing in the sand and attending the concert. 2. The desert-themed decor and furnishings are incredibly photogenic, and the hotel facilities are brand new, including smart toilets. They even have cute little kittens around! ☺ 3. It has a starry sky theme, and the owner gives amazing stargazing classes. The rooftop terrace is perfect for stargazing, and the owner even has a professional telescope. It's fantastic! 4. The breakfast is homemade by the owner. While simple, it's clean, hygienic, and tastes great. 5. The best part is the owner's service. The whole family is incredibly nice and hospitable. They helped us with our luggage, answered all of my child's astronomy questions, provided airport transfers, and even recommended local itineraries. It's just wonderful!

The B&B has a large yard, a good environment, and is surrounded by green trees. It is very close to the Mingsha Mountain and Crescent Lake scenic area. The owner will take you to a small path, which takes less than ten minutes to reach the scenic area, which is especially convenient for watching the sunrise and sunset. The room is spacious, clean and tidy, and there is no odor. The bathroom is separated into dry and wet areas, and the spray hot water is large, so it is very comfortable to take a bath.
