I booked two rooms with king beds and received email confirmations. The app would only let me check in one of the rooms with 2 queens instead of 1 king. When I asked about this at the desk, the woman gave me a stream of nonsense. First she said it was because I had booked with a third party but I had booked on the Hilton website. Then she said it was because they had sold out of kings a week ago, but I had made my reservation three weeks earlier. Finally she gave up and just said they were full and hoped I'd be happy anyways. Breakfast was better than at most Hampton Inns, with omelets, potatoes and sausages. The room had horrible lighting, with low wattage CFL bulbs and a missing bulb. The only place really bright enough to read would have been standing at the bathroom sink. I had to move the nightstand to plug something in and it was filthy behind it, so clearly the room had not had a deep clean in a long time. On the plus side, there were enough towels, there was bar soap, and while the HVAC unit was really noisy it did work properly with the thermostat to keep the room at a comfortable temperature.
