I stayed here a couple years ago and enjoyed it very much so I planned to return. We stayed during the Covid 19 pandemic. I was surprised that the room had not been prepared and sanitized. They are still using glasses in the room instead of plastic. They did not sanitize the tv remote and there was chip packs under the table so you know they didnt deep clean. The room had aged and some items were broken. The pool was closed but the gym was open. The phone didnt work to get me to the front desk but when I mentioned it to the front desk he just shrugged his shoulders. Beds are still comfy but the guests above us were very noisy. We decided to cut our time short. I enjoyed the suite aspect because we had children come visit.

Platinum member with Choice. Made reservation on Mobile app. Attempted to check in. Was going to pay with CC on file with Choice for 5yrs. Is a reloadable card registed to me with all info, also on file with Choice. Use Nationwide on a weekly basis. However, because has no chip, clerk said they could not take. Ridiculous policy. Clerk refused to charge to CC. So paid cash with $100 deposit. Had to sign a form which said could not get back until 1000am. Was 1130pm and tired. Did not dispute thinking was just a protection against transient or shady guests. No, is for everyone. With an appointment with customer at 1000am, I attempted to check out and was informed I could not get my cash deposit back until 1000am. When Manager arrived. I missed appointment with customer..possibly costing me a money. Do not expect to be treated with any respect or any different than some random off the street person. You will not. I, as a Platinum member will never stay here again. Choice has been notified and I am going to pursue this so others will not have to deal with a policy, which could very well be illegal. Will find out. Stay at own risk. Never again.

Sadly this Best Western felt seedy and neglected from the moment we came through the front door. About 2 hours after we checked in a worked tried to force his way into the room. If you can avoid this hotel, do.

First let me say what a beautiful hotel they have. I was really looking forward to my stay. Being a Caldor fire victim I was really looking forward to a good night sleep. I lived in an apartment in Hollywood for 5 years so, I am use to dealing with noise. Also, I never complain (I try to understand and look at it from another point of view.) But, in this case I think it is necessary. Besides the horrible check in (Hillary) Who did not even know who the insurance company was. I got there early to check in possibly. Hillary said no rooms were ready yet. But keep checking. So, I kept checking in to see if a room was ready. I went in about three times. From 1:00 to 3:00. She said she would call me. I said to myself, Just be patient. She will call you. (She did not) and at 3:10 I went in. Now, there was a long line. That’s OK. I am sure she tried. When I got up to the desk, they told me she was at lunch. Then, I got stuck in a room connected to the maintenance room. I had to listen to a pump going all night. Cha cheee, cha chee, cha chee…..all night. Also, a pet friendly room that has a bed with gaps under it, that my cat got under. A small dog could get his head caught in there and die. I was told all the rooms were the same. Then, being woken up at 7:00 am by the staff having a party, making all kinds of noise, laughing and carrying on, with the laundry room open. I had to open my door and ask them to please close the door. There are guests sleeping!!! Common courtesy!!!!!!
