Shimoda Yamatokan
4.4/528 Reviews
Overall great, good onsen. But the bathroom facilities in the room are old, the water temperature is not enough, the shower cannot be used, and the toilet is still the old one. A room near the sea, but due to the orientation, I can't watch the sunrise, which is a pity. There are no supporting facilities nearby. It takes 20 minutes to go to the nearest 711. The breakfast and dinner are good, and the service is good.
Shimoda Tokyu Hotel
4.7/5194 Reviews
The property has amazing ocean views high on an outcropping, but none of the rooms with an ocean view have a balcony, except the very edge of the east wing. Wonderful gardens with a path lading down to a small beach that isn't too noteworthy. The rooms have been updated since the construction and are pretty good overall. The pool was closed in June, which was pretty disappointing, especially as the beach is below par. The onsen facilities met expectation. The beds are firm, which I loved, but not everyone likes a firm mattress. The hotel operates a bus service to pick up guests from the train station twice an hour from 9-5pm. If you are doing dinner out in the town or drinks in the evening, you have to grab a taxi back as the walk is a bit of a hike. The hotel staff are very friendly and kind, the concierge knows the area and has great recommendation for activities...wonderful and friendly people. The hotel restaurant serves a nice mostly Japanese breakfast (as expected) with local delicacies, wide range of teas, coffee and juice as well as a great selection of breads and fresh fruit. The hotel restaurant for dinner is average. Our group ordered a range of items off the menu and no one was terribly impressed. The lone stand out was the French Onion soup, packed with flavor, though a bit light on the cheese. Would stay here again if the price was right, was able to get rooms at a discount on this stay as it was rainy season.
Beach Side Inn Shirahama
4.4/516 Reviews
Just off Shirahama coast, there is no more location for divers. However, the last road to enter the inn from national route 135 seems to be missed, and it is narrow and necessary to be careful. The bath has two open-air baths for rental except for the unit bus in the room. It is not a reservation system, but if it is empty, the person wins early. Body soap, shampoo, conditioner, bathtub, open and comfortable. Tea, tea and coffee can be self-drinking at any time and can be comfortable even if it is not a diver.
Izu Oku Shimoda Onsen Kannon Onsen
4.3/59 Reviews
This time, a trip around Izu in 3 nights and 4 days. All inns are hot springs. Among them, the quality of the spring was extremely good. Stayed in the Pygmarion building with an open-air bath in all rooms. pH9.5 What is it like? When I soaked it while thinking, it immediately became slimy! It feels like a piece of body surface has been peeled off. It feels good. In addition, there was a cup in the open-air bath in the room because it was possible to drink. When I drank it, it was soft and easy to drink water. In addition to the indoor and open-air baths, there is an American spa consisting of a jacuzzi and a whirlpool bath in the large women's communal bath, and I enjoyed taking a bath. Meals were also made using this hot spring water, and I also had it as a souvenir. Even cosmetics are made from this hot spring water. It is placed so that you can try it. It seems to be gentle on the skin and gastrointestinal tract. This building has tatami mats in the corridor, so you can walk barefoot. The tatami mats in the room were clean and comfortable. Even in the standard, it was large enough to spend a relaxing time. The meal is also in this building, so it is easy to move around. The dishes using hot spring water are Japanese food that are easy to eat. The cherry blossom shrimp rice was delicious. It is the amount that can be refilled. Day trip bathing facilities are also available until 4 pm. After 4 o'clock, there is a large communal bath for guests and an open-air bath in the room. It was already a hot spring. There is nothing to say because the quality of the spring is the best. It is hot springs, hot springs, and hot springs.
Shimoda Prince Hotel
4/583 Reviews
The place and hotel that I have been interested in for a long time. The design is the master Kisho Kurokawa. I think it's time to be between the old hotel and the classic hotel. Staff at Hotel Rotary that heals long car trips. The front desk staff was also good. I left my luggage in my room and went to the beach immediately. I imagine it would be great in summer. Very beautiful beach and has a private feeling. The staff at dinner can also have a good feeling. I went to the Prince Hotel, which is 々 for a member of the SEIBU PRINCE CLUB, but I think the staff here is the best. The facilities in the room feel old, but there is no bad impression. The bedding in the Japanese room was thick and the family's reputation was good. It was a pity that there was no sauna in the public bath, but it was a hot spring, so I am satisfied. The sound of the waves erased the noise and became a deep sleep, which was the best for me personally. The breakfast buffet has a lot of variations, and there is a paper cup for takeout, so you can get a glimpse of the efforts to increase customer satisfaction in 々. I would like to visit in the summer, hoping that the staff response quality is good during the busy period.
The Spa Resort Bettei Rakuyu

The room is large, you can lie down in a wooden barrel and soak in the hot spring while looking at the sea view. I met a girl from Xi'an who came for an internship at the hotel, and I was very grateful for her translation.
