Royale Lalawi Hotel

Hotel is pretty new . one thing to mention that Hotel is starting from first floor and you have to climb by stairs so elderly Please watch .Hotel is good specially the service staff , everyone from security to housekeeping to catering, which is running around the clock. They are very helpful that makes the hotel very comfort. And too professional. I don’t know how are they affording so many staff in their hotel . I am pure veg and found difficulty for finding food including here .food is okay ,it’s the only okay place to eat in whole Mizoram where I tour for whole week. price wise I find City is very costly. If I visit again I will definitely choose the same hotel again. I also stayed at Homestay name giftland but I find this hotel more comfort than that with the same price.

Descent place to stay with nife and courteous staff they have. Shankar da the GM of the property is very supportive and he takes care of the property and guests very well. Their food price is at a little higher side but the quality & quantity of the food is good, however best part is that they has a reasonably priced in-house resturent at the ground floor offering best of the cuisines. Electric cattle and tea bags in the rooms could be useful for the guests
The Esquire

At the first look, you may not like this hotel. However, when you stay and interact with the staff, particularly the receptionist - Ms. Dini, you feel at home and she makes you really comfortable with her genuine smile and her attitude to help the guests. They have given me the largest room in the hotel, if you see the pictures, you will understand that it is a real large room. The bathroom was a disaster, it is not well designed, the wash basin is inside while the pot is near the door. They have solar water heating system, if there's no su then you have to take shower with cold water. The food was okay, however the service time is long. They other people at the hotel do not understand English or Hindi properly, that may be a challenge in communicating with them. I may not recommend to stay here, but it's not that much negative, else I would not have give a 4 rating.
Hotel Regency

The hotel is centrally located in the town. Approx one hour by car from airport. Had a smooth check in. I stayed in junior suite which was a spacious room with good furnishing. In room dining has plenty of food options from the menu that includes pork and ethnic Mizo dishes too. Breakfast buffet was basic and the washroom was small. Staffs are efficient, well mannered and helpful

Everything was in working order. Heated running water, power, tv, an electric kettle, and a clean bed with clean pillows and sheets. The complimentary breakfast was just lovely 10/10
Aizawl Guest House

Location is great. View from the top rooms is awesome. Mary, the Manager at the guest house made sure that we had a comfortable stay and are attended to. Situated at a height away from the main city. You can plan outing to some great locations like Reiek which is a mountain and tourist spot 30 km from Aizawl. But you would need to trek for 1-2 hrs to reach the top and return. People are disciplined and there is no honking despite traffic in the main city.
