Green Gables Hotel
3.1/542 Reviews
Quiet , clean and big room and friendly and helpful staff ( Dhiva and Adel ) they make our stay perfect . Please delete swimming pool option from the site . We booked the hotel because of the swimming pool and we found it closed since pandemic because of previous reviews from guests .
The Grand Scarborough
3.5/5139 Reviews
My wife and I stayed at The Grand back on 25/03/22 and we were so impressed that we just had to return. The staff are still helpful and friendly, the food is excellent and the room we stayed in was impressive. It was clean, comfy and had just been decorated and fitted with a power shower. The seagulls on our window sill could be quite noisy, but remember we are at the seaside! We paid £200 in total for bed, breakfast and evening meal, which I found to be excellent value. Disregard all the negative reports that you read about this hotel, make a visit and decide for yourself. Perhaps, if these people want 5 star, that will have to pay 5 star prices. We will certainly be visiting The Grand again.
Crown Spa Hotel Scarborough by Compass Hospitality
3.6/5108 Reviews
Sadly had three rooms due to some issues reguardless how clean they were and a smell coming from the bathroom, third room was ok and had a nice view over looking the sea and Scarborough harbour, pool and spa a nice touch and the staff were all friendly plenty of choice on the menu for food, just needs to address a few issues to make this worthy of it's 4 star rating and that to me should be considered luxury where as this felt more just above average but not luxury 3.5 / 5 location amazing staff amazing let down by the fire alarm going off which steam was to blame air vents were dirty this needs looking at, house keeping need to work more alongside maintenance to ensure issues are addressed. Safe in second room was broken but maintenance did sort this and were very friendly, reception and spa staff all excellent, can't comment on the food but had plenty of choice and had we not made plans we would of considered the curry night the hotel had on. Over all 3.5 / 5
Premier Inn Scarborough (North Bay)
4.4/540 Reviews
Heading here for work accommodation as a Nurse commuting to the area, I'd had to catch 4 trains and had lots of delays, a 45min walk from the train station lugging my pile of bags . I walked in the entrance of the Premier Inn and got the warmest welcome of all-time staff member Jacob had a massive genuine smile and right away asked about me, advised me and supported what I needed . Totally brilliant Chap should be a Manager great represention of the brand , I'd employ this guy every day of the week The hotel is newly built very smart. There is parking including disabled parking ehich near the entrance but its pay by the day. The entrance is well illuminated and very smart. As well as stairs there are lifts available. The rooms are large well represented. You do have to leave your door card in the socket to keep the lights on. Hair dryers are wired into the rooms with their own mirrors . Lots of hanging space and a large draw for storage Plenty of plugs all around the room with usb poets built in next to the bed. Windows are none opening so you can't get a nice breeze my only flat with the room. Showers are very powerful and hot but are the stand inside the bath rather than a shower cabinet Large TV but you can't get to the USB slot to add your fire stick or chrome cast etc . Kettle and a range of supplies tea bags coffee sachets are in each room. The hotel is perfectly placed for North Bay attractions with good views due to its elevated position on the top of the hill The ground floor has several vending machines which are well stocked I can't comment on the restaurant or food because its all closed at this time due to covid There are plenty of food delivery services in the area which deliver to the hotel and there is a Tesco Express with 3 mins walk. I would refer people to use this hotel and I would use it again myself.
Park Manor Hotel
4.2/540 Reviews
Good value for money with the real plus points being the friendly staff and good food. The hotel has a small pool which is big enough to get some exercise in. The breakfast was good quality and the evening meal was of a good standard. It was a shame the restaurant wasn’t used more in the evening and I can’t help thinking that a two courses for £17 and three for £20 type daily offer wouldn’t see it used more and reward the effort the chef puts into the meals Overall a good stay and the hotel did what it said on the tin. We would book here again.
