The room was much bigger than expected, and it was so clean that you could roll around on the floor. It was made of straw mats and was very quiet. At first glance, the boss loves cleanliness and pays attention to hygiene. The entire house, the living room and the garden are kept spotless. It's a pity that we only arranged one day's itinerary in Pu'er, otherwise I really wanted to stay longer. I plan to come to Yunnan again around the Chinese New Year and stay here for a few more days to fully appreciate the beauty of this house! Another note: I really like these cute little things in the boss’s garden. I feel better after reading them!

Every time I go to Pu'er, I have to bring a doll, and I live in it! From tea drinking in the early 12 years to the current accommodation, it is beautiful! The key is art plus points!

The proprietress is very real, the service staff is very enthusiastic, this trip because of my mistakes, they have added a lot of trouble, the boss and the service staff have always been patient and enthusiastic to help, and also to appease the other guests who are affected by me, thank you very much! Thank you also for the Pu'er tea hosted by the proprietress! The inn is very cost-effective, the price has not increased during the New Year, and the locals have a high evaluation. The boss really treats every guest like a friend. Whether it is men, women and children, he will come to live in two months. He also recommends it to friends who come to Pu'er to play.

You can't consider hardware facilities when you live in a homestay. If you have high requirements, go to a star hotel. The transportation here is convenient, and it is only more than 900 meters to the Star Night Market. There are a lot of things to eat there. The boss's service is satisfactory, the homestay is newly renovated, and the stay is not bad. Originally two days of the trip, the hotel was cancelled for one day for some reason, the boss was very happy and immediately retired. So I said that the main selling point of the homestay is service. Others can be decent.

The conditions are very good. Although I have not seen other hotels nearby, I think this should be the best one, which is a good surprise. The interior decoration of the hotel can be described as luxurious. The boss is good, the service is warm and thoughtful!

When I started planning our itinerary for our 15 day Yunnan holiday, I plotted out our path to go all the way up to Shangri-la, back down to Kunming and then to Jiaozi Snow Mountain and Dongchuan Red Land. Then I chanced upon a video of Aini Garden and fell in love! The only reason we came to Pu'er was to get to Aini. This was the first place I booked, and I really took a chance because it has a no cancellation policy and I really had to stick to the date once it was made. The initial pre-arrival experience was less than pleasant. I didn't know how we were going to get to the manor and my WeChat messages went unanswered. The hotel we stayed at in Pu'er finally got in touch with someone and got them to message me. I asked how we could get there and the answer was a curt ”take a taxi or charter a car”. No pleasantries of ”we look forward to seeing you” or offering to arrange a car. When we arrived, no one was at reception and no one came out. Our driver was so perplexed he wondered if we were in the right place and if the place was open. Finally a young girl came out and registered us in. There was an air of aloofness from everyone else. However, once we were checked in, things warmed up quickly. We were offered coffee and freshly cut papaya and had a nice introduction chat with the lady staff. The bedroom and bathroom is well appointed, spacious and comfortable. We would have enjoyed sitting on the balcony if the chairs were more comfortable. I love the floor to ceiling glass windows but the panel above the door should also be glass (it is just netting) so traffic sounds from the road actually comes through at night. I actually wanted to book the cottage in the hills but opted for the standard room in the main house because I was worried it would be cold. Big regret as it is actually magnificently located with stunning views. However take note that you will need to call for a buggy ride or make a 1km hike every time you want to eat or get to the main house. If you are self driving, no issues as you can park right next to the cottage. Anyway it's a small price to pay for an unlimited view of the milky way and seclusion. This is as close to a Ryokan experience as you can get in China, minus the hot springs. 3 days 2 nights of blissful, carefree living is not quite enough. They make sure they feed you well, with the freshest produce available for hotpot dinner and home-cooked Yunnanese dishes for lunch. There are so many activities organised, from taking you up the mountain for a glimpse of sunrise (with mountain goats for company ❤️) to coffee plantation education tour to horseback riding along the mountain ridges (the view is spectacular!) to scavenging for wild vegetables and fruits to drinking, dancing and singing around the campfire! So much to do, so little time! One area of improvement I personally would like to see is the coffee serving. They tend to be quite snobbish about how their coffee is taken. Neat, with nothing else. Asking for sugar or milk feels nearly scorned upon. Coffee is a versatile drink and can be savoured in a huge variety of ways. How else is Starbucks so successful? I felt kind of stifled and deprived because I love a good latte and had looked forward to enjoying an unlimited indulgence of coffee throughout our stay. Anyhow, I love the ecotourism efforts here. It feels natural and unpretentious. I love the people and the camaraderie they cultivate. I especially enjoyed talking to their consultant 敬梅, a beautiful lady with extensive knowledge in Yunnan culture and ecological progress. Also thank you to 徐芳 for arranging transport back to town and giving helpful recommendations. We hope to return again.

#Location Traffic location is located outside Pu'er, with the mountains and the wetlands, and the natural environment is very good. Suitable for self-driving friends. It takes only a few minutes to get up in the morning and walk to the wetland, you can take an hour, suitable for friends who practice in the morning. If you like to hike, it is not bad to walk to Meizi Lake Park, about 5 kilometers. The homestay has its own barbecue and restaurant, so you can eat and drink worry-free. There is a commercial street nearby, although there are not many shops. Of course, Pu'er has a single diet. If you want to eat better, you have to go to the city and drive for ten minutes. #Service several bosses are very good. Mr. Qiao is a Beijinger, warm and talkative, loves cross-country, and likes to group cross-country. The female boss is a Hani ethnic group, very very enthusiastic, you can chat if you have nothing to do, and experience their tea culture here. #Health room log wind, clean and tidy. The only drawback is that the wet and dry are not separated, and it will be a bit slippery to go to the bathroom after taking a shower. #Parking yard is very large, you can park ten cars, and you can park 4,5 cars outside the yard. On weekends, there are many parking spaces. #Room view room has good lighting, and you can drink tea in the room in the afternoon. PS: There is a hidden place to relax and drink tea. The roof terrace is very comfortable to watch the tea mountain behind the sun. You must ask the boss when you come here, and we only know it in the morning when we leave. In fact, Pu'er is not big, and there are very few good tea room cafes in the city. The only good store is still 40 kilometers away from the ancient town of Kory, called Changting. So you must go to the roof to experience it when you live here. The farmer's mother tea in the boss's house is very delicious.

I accidentally booked this hotel, and it was all a surprise. The room was spacious, clean and tidy, and it was especially quiet at night. Breakfast was actually a la carte, with both Chinese and Western food. It was delicious and the girl at the front desk was very attentive. I will definitely go there again if I have the chance.
