Hotels With Gym in Trat Province, Thailand

We found Dewa to be a high end resort that had everything you needed (except a gym) but it seemed to lack personality. The staff were friendly but not very attentive. We stayed in one of the Deluxe cottages which was beautiful and very clean, however the noise from other a/c units and the big router/internet machine outside our door sounded very loud at night (I had to wear earplugs at night). For such a lovely place we expected a bit more of a quiet space. At checkout our bill was incorrect so it’s worth checking rather than you assume all is well. The beach is beautiful and there are other restaurants and places to have a drink but not very many. On the main road, 5 minutes walk, there’s an awesome Italian restaurant that makes great pizzas and pasta if you need a break from Thai cuisine.

Excellent service, and the location of the hotel is handy to pretty much everything you need. The room I had was very clean with a comfortable bed, a nice bathtub and a balcony with pool views. The hotel has 3 swimming pools on its own, one inside the building, one on the rooftop with gorgeous views and the 3rd one is right at the white sand beach by the ocean. (We didn’t see other hotels in the same beach had a swimming pool by the ocean other than KC resort while we were there.) Both ladies from the information desk were vey nice and helpful, one of them speaks perfect English. They helped us book taxis and recommended us some nice tourist sites. It was well worth the cost. Definitely recommend it.

Stayed here 4 times now in the last 18 mths and love the hotel, great location, staff are very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast choice and rooms are very spacious. My only negative comment is the WiFi is not great and would be great if was better and a reliable connection.

This hotel has been operating for over 10 yrs. It was good back then and still a good vibe here. Its got to be the best budget option on Lonely beach for sure. The room I was allocated was so clean, nice and had a new feel about it. Large bathroom and fridge in the room. Good price Restaurant food is not bad. The Cambodians working there are friendly. But I imagine they dont suffer fools. If you treat them well they will treat you well. If I were management I would probably keep a closer eye on them to make sure they are being polite to all customers. If you plan to walk into town at nighttime you need a torch. Its not far but dangerous in the dark with the bikes and cars zipping past. Highly recommend this hotel and restaurant. Right on the stunning beach. White sand and nice water. Cant wait to go back!

We loved the pool and the beach was nice. People were nice and polite, the resort was very green and felt very tropical, with many palm trees. Amazing sunsets can be enjoyed from the beach, pool and the bar! On the con side, the food wasn’t great - e.g. undercooked red chicken, too sweet mango rice cake etc. Surprisingly bad food for Thailand. Breakfast was slightly better. Room cleaners didn’t really clean bathtubs, nor replace stuff provided for free in the toilet, collect dirty plates from the room. AC was the central one - pretty loud, and those sensitive wouldn’t find the bed or pillows comfortable. Overall, it was OK, but I wouldn’t go back.

This place is heaven on earth! The welcome at reception sets the tone for the rest of your stay! We arrived with back packs from Pattaya and We were treated like VIPs. Absolute top class! Staff are amazing! Food was amazing. The rooms are outstanding and the local town is warm and friendly! The random visits from monkeys is an amazing addition! But be aware, they actually do creep up on you and open your room doors!! Staff aren’t joking! We’ve stayed on many islands and many places in Thailand but our expectations were exceeded here. The grounds are well kept, the surroundings are superb! My only disappointment was that the tides were high so we didn’t have any beach during our stay! (No fault of Sylvan!) I just hope the cost doesn’t get too high that they price us out of spending another break there next year!

We had family visiting Thailand for the first time, and we stayed at both the Koh Chang Paradise Hill Resort and the sister resort Koh Chang Paradise Resort across the street. My kids enjoyed the waterpark and the beach. The staff were friendly, polite, and helpful. Two thumbs up for the staff! The only negative experience I had with a staff member was at breakfast one morning. I had sprained my ankle right before our beach holiday and was hobbling around at breakfast filling up my personal mug with tea because the provided cups were really small and I didn’t want to have to get up multiple times to refill the small cup. A chef got angry at me and told me to not use my personal mug. He raised his voice at me and told me unkindly to not do what I was doing. I explained to him that I had hurt my ankle and did not want to get up multiple times to get more tea. I don’t think he really listened to me because he kept talking to me with an angry voice about not using my cup. Thankfully all the other staff at breakfast have been great. The lifeguards at the pool were great. One of the kids in our group slipped and cut her foot, and they cared for her with proper first aid. I appreciated their professional approach! Cleaning ladies were cheerful and smiled a lot.

This hotel is incredibly beautiful - beautiful nature, convenience and comfort, privacy. To fully experience the atmosphere, it is best to take a large Deluxe room with a panoramic floor-to-ceiling window and a balcony. The views of the mountains and river are stunning, especially at sunset. We lived here for 12 days and didn’t want to leave, and of course, we definitely want to come back. - Food - the most beautiful breakfasts of my life, when the transparent waves of the morning surf almost touch your table. And of course very tasty! There are scrambled eggs and an omelet, several types of muesli and cereal, two types of bread, pancakes, yogurt, watermelon, papaya, pineapples, two meat dishes with vegetables (usually chicken and pork, sometimes beef), a potato dish, two types of rice, noodles, hot bacon and sausage, cold cheese and sausage, two types of soup, fresh vegetables - cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, bell peppers, lettuce, olives. And of course delicious coffee from the machine! There is also a happy hour from 16 to 18, when you can buy two cocktails for the price of one and enjoy the sunset. Dinners are also very tasty (the price is high, as on the whole island by the sea, if you want half the price, there are plenty of places on the side of the road) - The area is very large and, in comparison with the rest of the island, very well-groomed, especially in the beach area with the villas. They transport you along it and to the store using hotel cars without any problems, you don’t have to wait much, but it’s better to take a bike and ride around the entire island yourself. - The Deluxe room is very beautiful and stylish, the furniture is quite new, but in some places it has already been damaged by sloppy people. Huge bathroom, very comfortable. The bed is soft and comfortable. - Cleaning and change of towels every day. Change the bed every few days. The bed linen smells very nice. - Water - 2 bottles of 0.5 liters per room. This is not enough for the daily consumption rate and you need to buy your own water. But since the hotel transports you to the store, this is not a problem. - The Internet is rather weak for work and often cuts out. For relaxation - not needed at all. Here you want to enjoy nature and the sea. - Beaches - there are several within walking distance. Their depth depends on the tide; it is better to look at the tide chart. And beauty depends on the direction of the wind. In the calm there is very beautiful and clean water on all nearby beaches. But the most beautiful beach is Long Beach in the eastern part of the island; from the hotel it takes about 1 hour to get there by bike. And it’s better in the morning; there are practically no people there until 10 am.

Superb hotel to stay in, very family friendly, beautifully appointed rooms, great facilities, clean and well maintained. The pool and beach are superb and the staff are so friendly and helpful. The restaurant food and beach BBQ were terrific. The children loved every minute of their stay. We loved the fact it was so safe for the children...always someone there watching the water ...both beach and pool. Highly recommended and the views and scenery were gorgeous after a heavy rain tho

We visited this beautiful, owner-managed facility again after 10 years and were thrilled again! The entire resort is well maintained, the bungalows are cleaned every other day (more often if requested) and all the employees are super friendly. The location directly on a large bay with a beautiful sandy beach is fantastic - and here too the plastic waste that is now washing up everywhere in Southeast Asia is immediately disposed of. Many of the other resorts in this area of ​​the island don't have their own beach, which is really perfect here. There are swings hanging between the palm trees everywhere, there are free swimming mats for splashing in the water and you can rent kayaks and snorkeling equipment. Snorkeling in the bay is great, there are corals, lots of shells and even parrotfish. We booked a day trip with a boat for snorkeling through the resort and were picked up directly from the jetty. This trip was also very nice. The food in the restaurant is good, the menu is extensive. There is now a French bakery in the immediate vicinity and a nice little restaurant on the street - for anyone who wants to eat something different. Otherwise, on Ko Kood you generally need a scooter to explore the island; these can be ordered at reception for 300 baht / day. Our children really enjoyed their stay and the great service. When you see how carelessly some of the other resorts/facilities on the island are run, you really realize how good Dusita is. The Dusita is also still unbeatable in terms of price - as everywhere in Thailand, it is advisable to inquire about the prices directly by email, so you don't have to pay the commission for the brokerage platforms. We hope that the facility will continue to operate in this style for a long time and that we will get the chance to vacation there again!

Nice and quiet We had been this place and we decide to come back because of it really nice hotel ,the thing we like is staff very nice and friendly, room are big and clean , quite pool area, beautiful garden. A bit far from restaurant and shop but you take motorbike to go around the island just contact at reception, also our activities like snorkeling, elephant trip .

Usually a hotel or resort doesn't live up to the advertising but in this case it definitely does. Koh Kood is a beautiful island and this resort is amazing. Incredible location on a stunning beach, amazing facilities and fantastic staff. The deluxe pool villa was well-appointed with everything i needed, including a delightful little pool. The resort's galaxy pool is big and looks straight across the lawn to the beach. Every single staff member I came across was friendly, helpful and professional. I hope to come back to this beautiful resort another time.

Had a delicious meal here at sunset. Staff put the mosquito burners under the table to prevent mozzies munching your feet. Very high quality food with extensive menu and options for fussy kids! We had the pepper prawns and Thai corn salad. I’d recommend this place for the variety on the menu, cleanliness as well as the beautiful setting - especially at sunset. The beach here is soft powdery sand, a good drop off so good for paddling and swimming. The jetty can be deep enough to jump off the end (test the depth first!) and there is a freshwater shower on the beach.

We spent 3 nights in Koh Kood Paradise and it is really a beautiful place! Beautiful garden, clean and comfortable bungalows, very attentive staff and great food for reasonable prices. A small shop is also available and another one in walking distance... Highlight is the pool and the beach! We visit Thailand since 12 years now and it is one of a few pools which is not ice cold, my son loved it! The beach is a paradise, quiet and natural in walking distance. Perfect place on Koh Kood! The beach front pool villa was perfect, looking straight out over the sea. Two huge double beds which were really comfortable. Cold, quiet air conditioning. Large bathroom with outside shower. (inc shampoo, body wash etc) TV with Netflix if you’re feeling lazy. And a coffee machine. Outside pool was an added bonus to cool off. Zanzibar, the resort cocktail bar make really great cocktails with happy hour (50% off) between 5 to 7 Breakfast was good and had variety. Eggs station, toast, bacon and pastries. They also have rice dishes, vegetables and pasta. The resort restaurant was disappointing with prices well over 300 baht for Thai dishes. The quality did not reflect the price at all. Be aware if you book a transfer through the resort to Koh Chang, it’s pricey & stops at multiple piers before heading to Koh Chang.

The hotel is cheap. Everything you need is there. Air conditioning, refrigerator, TV, shower with heater. Everything is in working order. Of the minuses: The owners are good-natured, but not active. There are very few guests, but when we arrived, no one was really waiting for us either; The rooms in the photo look larger, but in reality they are very small; The bed linen is extremely worn; No toilet paper; The restaurant practically does not work, because there are very few tourists; Without a bike, there is no need to consider this housing option at all. Pros: If you need a budget hotel and you use a bike, then it will do for a couple of days.

It was a 3-day-and-2-night trip with my friends and my 9-year-old daughter so we booked 2 villas with a private swimming pool. The villas are not new or super neatly cleaned but all are okay and kind of acceptable. The best thing is the resort staff. They are super nice, fun and friendly. They are ready to drop everything they are doing just to talk to you and answer your question. No matter how silly it is! They make me feel like they are ready to solve all the problems in the world for you, if asked! My daughter loves fishing there (even though she didn't get any fish lol). We borrowed the fishing rod from one of the nicest (probably) front desk staff who didn't seem to be bothered spending time teaching my daughter how to safely use the equipment. Wish I could ask for his name before we left. So I could give him better compliment. The view is just magical. Kayaking is also super fun. The Food is ways, ways better than we expected. The night bartender is a super cool & funny guy. He hosted the funniest Hermit crab racing in the world!

A beautiful hotel! Very beautiful area at the pool and sea, in the evening especially incredibly beautiful. The prices in the restaurant are adequate, cheap and everything we were delicious! Cocktails are also very good. Breakfast is quite scarce, but eat something to eat. The staff is very welcome and ready to come for help. When walking through the island, they realized that this beach is the best) next to the hotel shops and cafe is not available (on foot 15 minutes, probably to go). We have always had dinner in the hotel. Rent the fairy tales right at the hotel for 300 batt/day. Bungalo is certainly very interesting: wooden, hearing is very good, but it didn't bother us. It's cool to listen to the sounds of the jungle at night. Sometimes it was scared that someone would climb into the house, as they wrote in the reviews, but we had no ”guests” at all. We liked everything very much. We'll definitely come back here again!

We visit Thailand since 12 years now and it is one of a few pools which is not ice cold, my son loved it! The beach is a paradise, quiet and natural in walking distance. Perfect place on Koh Kood! The beach front pool villa was perfect, looking straight out over the sea. Two huge double beds which were really comfortable. Cold, quiet air conditioning. Large bathroom with outside shower. (inc shampoo, body wash etc) TV with Netflix if you’re feeling lazy. And a coffee machine. Outside pool was an added bonus to cool off. Zanzibar, the resort cocktail bar make really great cocktails with happy hour (50% off) between 5 to 7 Breakfast was good and had variety. Eggs station, toast, bacon and pastries. They also have rice dishes, vegetables and pasta. The resort restaurant was disappointing with prices well over 300 baht for Thai dishes. The quality did not reflect the price at all. Be aware if you book a transfer through the resort to Koh Chang, it’s pricey & stops at multiple piers before heading to Koh Chang.

The hotel is cheap. Everything you need is there. Air conditioning, refrigerator, TV, shower with heater. Everything is in working order. Of the minuses: The owners are good-natured, but not active. There are very few guests, but when we arrived, no one was really waiting for us either; The rooms in the photo look larger, but in reality they are very small; The bed linen is extremely worn; No toilet paper; The restaurant practically does not work, because there are very few tourists; Without a bike, there is no need to consider this housing option at all. Pros: If you need a budget hotel and you use a bike, then it will do for a couple of days.

It was a 3-day-and-2-night trip with my friends and my 9-year-old daughter so we booked 2 villas with a private swimming pool. The villas are not new or super neatly cleaned but all are okay and kind of acceptable. The best thing is the resort staff. They are super nice, fun and friendly. They are ready to drop everything they are doing just to talk to you and answer your question. No matter how silly it is! They make me feel like they are ready to solve all the problems in the world for you, if asked! My daughter loves fishing there (even though she didn't get any fish lol). We borrowed the fishing rod from one of the nicest (probably) front desk staff who didn't seem to be bothered spending time teaching my daughter how to safely use the equipment. Wish I could ask for his name before we left. So I could give him better compliment. The view is just magical. Kayaking is also super fun. The Food is ways, ways better than we expected. The night bartender is a super cool & funny guy. He hosted the funniest Hermit crab racing in the world!

A beautiful hotel! Very beautiful area at the pool and sea, in the evening especially incredibly beautiful. The prices in the restaurant are adequate, cheap and everything we were delicious! Cocktails are also very good. Breakfast is quite scarce, but eat something to eat. The staff is very welcome and ready to come for help. When walking through the island, they realized that this beach is the best) next to the hotel shops and cafe is not available (on foot 15 minutes, probably to go). We have always had dinner in the hotel. Rent the fairy tales right at the hotel for 300 batt/day. Bungalo is certainly very interesting: wooden, hearing is very good, but it didn't bother us. It's cool to listen to the sounds of the jungle at night. Sometimes it was scared that someone would climb into the house, as they wrote in the reviews, but we had no ”guests” at all. We liked everything very much. We'll definitely come back here again!

very good! ! Okay, I don’t know where to start, it’s all good! ! The room is clean and fragrant. The bathroom is also very large. The shower is surrounded by green plants and there are not many bugs. The two sofas at the door are my favorite. You can sit there quietly and enjoy the beautiful scenery in front of you. The food and drinks in the restaurant are very authentic. Tom Yum Kung has options of clear soup and thick soup. There is also afternoon tea. When drinking tea or coffee, remember to tell me not to sugar, otherwise it is really sweet. The service staff is very nice. They saw me taking selfies and even came to help me. It’s too warm 555 The swimming pool is big and clean, not deep, and there are very few people. It was just the two of us playing in the afternoon. It was too hasty this time, I only stayed for one day. If there is a next time, I will directly book a house here for a week and enjoy it.

We had an amazing stay at Peter Pan resort. Having come from a very quiet resort it was great to come to Koh Kud and stay in this family friendly , fun packed resort. We opted for a mixture of the package and independent stay so for the best of both worlds. The snorkelling trips were great and we even went fishing with the staff a couple of times which was an amazing way to see the sunset ! Staff were all really helpful , food choices were unbelievable and although the rooms were small , the bathroom was lovely and housekeeping made sure we were kept clean and tidy on a daily basis. Grabbed a taxi one day just to see a bit more of the Island but no real need to leave the resort. In the evenings the bar made a great place to chill out and drink cocktails created by a couple of really talented mixologists . Great stay , everyone happy. Highly recommend
