Very good hotel..rooms are good and spacious. Kaaba view is excellent from hotel. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic. Good spread with lots of option. We were served with so much of care and specially Mr Ashraf was very very helpful and gave the extra mile to us and took care of us even the minute details specaily for my mom . That's what you call hospitality. My rating *****. Must try people like Ashraf make the difference between other properties and this.

Umrah trip with family Mar 2023 Went there for Umra trip with family we were bit confused while booking this hotel since it is located a bit away from Haram (1.5kms), however, they have shuttle service with good reviews 1. Hotel is super nice, new and very clean. Checkin was super quick although we had two rooms and were given on seperate floors as they didnt had two rooms on the same floor. 2. Rooms were good clean and tidy on check-in. They provided all basic amenities like iron, iron board, safe, etc. However, the rooms service was an issue and i had to complain and ask the counter to get the room cleaned after requesting the staff for couple of time. 3. Shuttle service was superb. Evertime there is a shuttle standing at the enterence leaving in approx 20 to 30 mins. Drop off point is the bus station behind clock tower with hardly few minutes walk to the Haram. 4. Even if you use Taxi it usually charges 15 riyals during normal timings and max 20 riyals during rush hours. We mostly used taxi service which was also very convinient. 5. Hotel location is very peaceful, you can find few restaurants nearby and baqalas for basic requirements.

We stayed at the hotel for 12 amazing days. The staffs were very welcoming and always attentive to our needs. The receptionists are always here to help with any of your issues. Be it laundry, housekeeping, payment, anything. Aadil from housekeeping did great cleaning jobs throughout our stay. Regular free shuttle to Masjid Al Haram really enhances your visit for swalat or even shopping etc. Note that you can wash your clothes and sun dry it on the roof. Bring your own cords. Check-in: Awful. I waited patiently until one of the two clerks sent me to the doorman. ??? The doorman sent me back and upon returning to the check in counter the other clerk told me in a raised voice to just wait 10 minutes as they are busy. I was totally confused as I don't pester anyone. Anyway, I waited on a couch. Then another person walked in and that second clerk proceeded to check that person in. I looked at both of the clerks. Then the first clerk told the other that he needs to check me in first. Then first he couldn't find my booking and asked for an email from Trip. When I presented it he said never mind I found the booking. Just crazy. Room: Okay. Bed was too soft for my liking. Only tea, no coffee. No creamer. No toiletries except liquid soap/shower gel. The desk was only cleaned in the front while the back of the desk and phone was full of dust. The toilet drain (on the 14th floor) was smelly. The mugs which were black looked like they were just rinsed and still had stains inside that I had to lean myself. I left a note requesting for coffee and toiletrie ins such as toothbrushes, toothpaste and earbuds. We got two small pouches of coffee and only one toothbrush and small toothpaste. No earbuds. Food: We had breakfast included. We also had dinner at the hotel on one night. The breakfast was quite good except for the juice and the coffee. The dinner was a notch lower than the breakfast in terms of selection and quality of the food. I would not recommend the dinner. Shuttle bus: Good. The hotel uses small busses that I actually preferred as we never needed to wait long for the buss to fill up. If you missed a buss, the next bus would arrived almost immediately. 7.5 minutes to the Haram and 12.5 minutes back. Check out: perfect. We just handed in the key cards and that's it. Check out took all of 3 seconds. Overall: The Novotel Thakher City was okay just that it did not meet my expectations. I would not rate this as a four star hotel.

I arrived to the hotel at 10 and the lady in the reception told us to go and do the Omra and come back to get the rooms, I am a gold Fairmont member which was treated badly. We came back at 2:30 and noticed that the rooms are not ready and have been told that the check in time is 4PM, however before one day of arrival they called me to ask me what time do I want the room to be ready. Each customer receptionist was directing me to another where this wasn’t practical at all, image I was awake more than 12 hours and at the end of the day each on just throws me. Then after having a fight we got the rooms finally, I get to know that one of the rooms is full of insects and the other room is noisy from the neighbors. When I called to tell the reception after several fights they changed both rooms, we had to wait more than 15 minutes for the escalators. Overall my experience with this hotel is really baaaaaaad and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. The only positive point was that it’s few steps to the Haram other than that nothing is worth it at all, even when you speak to someone from the receptionist they don’t reply as of they don’t listen and in my case I am a gold member plus trip advisor level 6, how if I was a normal guest what would happen. They made my day very hard and miserable

This hotel has been recently (Dec. 2023) added to the 'Hilton Hotel-family', probably to have more Hilton hotels in Jeddah. It is an old(er) hotel that definitely needs an upgrade; the carpets in the hallways are dirty, the bathroom-furniture is outdated and old-fashioned. But the rooms are spacious and quiet. The location is not superb, allthough connected to the AlAndalus-mall and close to the more modern AlSalaam mall, located at the other side of the road. But if you want to be closer to the Corniche (coast), it's about 20-25min. away. The staff was very helpful and kind. Just accross the road is the Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib-hospital; since they are working on the exteriors of the hospital, (Uber/Bolt-)taxi-drivers may have difficulty finding the entrance of the hotel.

The hotel has a prime location close to Alharam. The Haram broadcast is a nice addition. The staff was friendly and professional. Special thanks to Mr.Ahmed from the front desk for welcoming me and my family. A thank you is also due to Mr. Akram from the housekeeping. The hotel has a direct access to the mall which is very convenient. The fruit basket was provided upon arrival. The laundry service was very quick. My stay was really comfortable and I will definitely revisit.

We stayed two nights at this hotel which is located along Al Iskandariyyah street very close to the Middle Corniche. The hotel has a parking area where the parking spaces are in pairs between the columns but their are very small so that each car occupies two spaces. However, availability is good and we had no problems parking (there is also easy parking along the road). Despite having arrived very early we were given the room which was large, with a good bathroom (which need soime renovation) and wifi service. One or two more electrical sockets should be placed in the room for recharging cell phones and a camera. The buffet breakfast is really excellent and with a lot of choice. In the evening in less than 10 minutes on foot we went for a walk to the Corniche. Even if we had to change room the second night due to a problem with the code lock on the door, we certainly give a very positive opinion and recommend this hotel both for the above and for the good value for money.

The hotel was graeat. Close to city center. The food very good. The staff very helpful and kind (esspesialy MD ARIF) the room very clean and tidy. The atmosphere of hotel was perfect. Thank you for nice time.

It was a very nice day for the rest and the quiet hotel was a great cool, and I'm always going down in it, and the breakfasts are delicious and the rooms are great and very clean, and the hotel is quiet near the sea, the fountain of grandmother and Palestine Street, the walk, and there are also a lot of nearby restaurants and very wonderful restaurants.

3 days stay. The hotel is good and clean Reception service lost our bags after receiving them, but they were polite. Breakfast meals were good Room service was not as good as we expected. Car parking was available. The hotel is next to a car wash station and the sound of air compressors is annoying day and night. They contacted us after we left for feedback and promised to work on our feedback with a discount next time

It was nice that the facility was very spacious. The owner was easy to talk to and we had a great time.

The hotel is in the north of downtown Jeddah, far from the city. The surrounding area of the hotel is relatively desolate, and there are no other supporting facilities. Nine o'clock is on the edge of a bay, and there are many resort hotels and seafood restaurants on the other side of the bay. The leisure bar on the first floor of the hotel can be used without ordering anything, which is very good.

The hotel is clean, the service is perfect, the breakfast is very good, and if you have any problems, call the Egyptian Mohammed, he solved all the problems, gave you tips, and if you want to talk about philosophy, talk to Mohammed.

Value for money - very hospitable front office team and a good location , decent clean rooms - proactive and observant housekeeping staff. Very central location. Overall a good stay - met also leisure guests who were discovering Jeddah, hotel is located to various corporate cubs and local attractions.

I must commend the hotel for maintaining the highest standards of service over the many years (20) I have been staying there on business. A lot of this is down to the dedication and attention to detail provided by the staff - especially those who have loyally worked in the hotel for years. I want in particular to highlight the personal attention and service that Mr Aslam provides not just to me but to every customer. He is a real ambassador for the hotel. A star!

I've been visiting many times since 2020, and I've still visited the last conservative visit at the same level of excellence in the service of guests and the cleanliness of rooms and facilities, I liked the good division of units although small, and it's close to some of the landmarks like Taif City Walk, Tera Mull, and the Accanean Tower, so I see the destination. The main one whenever I have the opportunity to visit the cults.

This was our first visit to Taif and i booked Boudl hotel as its located very near to park, zoo etc. Location is really good as many restaurants, coffee shops are nearby. We stayed in the junior suite for couple of nights. Staff was very courteous and helpful. They have a small section as kids playarea, nice for my kid. Only thing i didn't liked was breakfast, its very limited and exactly the same on daily basis. So not sure, if the items are kept fresh or not every morning.

The place is comfortable, but needs a look, modern decorations, changing the dark wall colors, attention and changing the furniture a little, the reception staff are friendly, and the service is acceptable. The price of the hotel is a little more than usual, but the location of the hotel is next to an excellent shopping mall.

First times visiting Taif. I just searched something with familiar name and struck with Swiss Spirit Hotel. Small hotel but amenities are easy to reach. Will visit again in future!

I commend the professionalism displayed by the all the staff especially the Receptionist who welcomed us with fantastic hospitality when me and my husband checked in. He was very helpful and accommodating despite the fact that I don’t speak Arabic at all. He easily recognized me as an IHG Club Member and enumerated my benefits which was really important to us. I wish to see him again in our future stays. Although the air conditioning in our room was temperamental and the room temperature was a bit disturbing, our other concerns were addressed and we were well taken care of. The staff treated us with utmost care. Me and my husband will definitely come back with our kids.
