The hotel is beautiful with the mix of old and new architecture. Plenty of FOC parking inside the fortress(hotel) and outside. Walking distance to the town and everything you want to see in Chaves. For EV cars, there is a chargeable charging station inside the hotel’s parking.

Dreamy hotel and park. Friendly staff and very well maintained. Breakfast was good as well. It’s a wonderful experience to stay there for a few days. Interior of the regular cabin could be improved design-wise but it’s not really a negative. 5/5 stars 👍👍

Hotel location is great, right in the center. Room is a bit outdated, but clean. Parking is free. Breakfast is simple but ample, come with scrambled eggs and bacon's, cornflakes and different breads. Rception staff was helpful

The hotel is very good. Because the urban area of the Duro Valley is small, the hotel is in the city center. There are parking spaces next to it, parking is to pay, very cheap. The hotel is also more hygienic and the service attitude is good. The shower is not very easy to use, but the hot water is very hot.

We were looking for a quiet place, with a pool and outside the tourist area. This hotel is. Very good swimming pools, SPA treatments and food (not spectacular but acceptable). The only thing we missed was some background music in the recreation areas. We will come back for sure.
