陳球屋I stayed for 4 consecutive days, and each day I'd ask the front desk to change towels and empty the trash when I left, but they never did it proactively. I'd come back to the room, see they hadn't been changed, and then have to call housekeeping to bring fresh towels and trash bags. The kitchen is small but fully equipped, and having a washer and dryer in the room was really convenient for laundry. It's very close to the airport, so you'll start hearing planes taking off and landing around 8 AM.

The hotel environment is particularly good, the proprietress is a Chinese sister, especially good, give me milk, it is very quiet, and very close to the scenic spot, there is a McDonald's and gas station ten meters away, there is a fish and chips 100 meters away, and the Chinese are also delicious but not friendly. In short, the hotel is very clean, the location is good, convenient and fast, parking is very convenient

ShosangThe price was great, really affordable. Parking is limited, and many spots without the hotel's logo require payment, so be careful not to make a mistake. Overall, the room conditions were excellent, and there's a simple, free gym. It's a 5-minute drive to Queenstown Airport and 15 minutes to the city center, so it's right by the airport – perfect for those with a car. There's also a washing machine, dryer, and a heated towel rail.

The room was incredibly spacious and even had a microwave, which was great for heating up food purchased from the supermarket. It also boasted a large balcony with fantastic lake views. The only thing to be aware of is the steep uphill walk from town to the hotel, which could be a bit slippery in winter. Overall, it offers excellent value for money and a prime location.

:))We were thrilled to be the very first guests to leave a review for this stunning new resort! The location is fantastic, just a quick 10-minute drive to town, and our room offered breathtaking views of the Shot River, creating a truly relaxing atmosphere.
We arrived around 10 PM, and the hotel reception was impeccably prepared, warmly welcoming us and even upgrading our room! It looked exactly like the photos, with a design and interior that perfectly captured the vibe we were seeking. They had welcome drinks waiting for us, and we appreciated that milk was available on request at any time.
The breakfast was a delightful a la carte experience, featuring an array of delicious options. The serving staff was not only attentive and kind but also provided excellent recommendations for nearby restaurants!
We also indulged in room service, which exceeded our expectations in both taste and punctuality. Although the fitness room and movie room were still under construction, the small maintenance issue we encountered in the bathroom was addressed swiftly by the staff.
Our stay has left us eager to return and see the final results of this new gem. I highly recommend this resort to everyone!

Amber Jong“Fantastic stay – highly recommend!”
I had an excellent stay at the Cambridge Hotel. The location is perfect, within easy walking distance to major attractions, restaurants, and public transport. The room was clean, modern, and very comfortable, with a great city view from the balcony.
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay, always going above and beyond to assist with any requests. Check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient.
The facilities were also impressive, especially the indoor pool and overall cleanliness of the hotel. Everything felt well-maintained and welcoming.
Overall, this hotel offers great value for money, combining comfort, convenience, and excellent service. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Guest UserLooks like we got a recently renovated apartment. It was clean, spacious, and well-maintained. Housekeeping was prompt whenever we needed it.Basement parking was available for our stay, and the unit was conveniently located next to a staircase leading directly to Stanley Street, where our ski bus pick-up point was. It was also less than a 10-minute walk to the town centre. Overall, no regrets—it was an excellent choice and great value for the price.

We were pleasantly surprised to find what looked like a recently renovated apartment. It was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. Basement parking was available, and the unit was conveniently located beside a staircase leading directly to Stanley Street, where our ski bus departed. The town centre was also less than a 10-minute walk away. Great location, excellent value for money, and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

TiantiankanyangpaoWhat a pleasant surprise! The hotel offers a private washer and dryer, complete with single-use laundry detergent packets. Plus, there's a full set of dishes and a microwave, all immaculately clean – incredibly convenient! You can even catch glimpses of the lake from the hotel, making it quite good value for money.
The location is super convenient; most places are within a 10-minute walk. And the bus to Milford Sound can pick you up right at the doorstep, which is a huge plus. The staff were friendly and helpful, making for a great experience!

Posted on May 6, 2026|Superior Two Queen Room With Lake View
Anonymous UserOn the first night of my group tour, I suffered from dust allergies. When I arrived in Queenstown the next day, I booked an extra room for myself for the two-night stay. This hotel is also a D-brand hotel; I stayed at the same brand four times throughout the trip, but these two nights were the second-lowest allergy-inducing rooms of the entire journey. The room was relatively clean. My self-booked room was upgraded to the 4th floor, which had a sloped roof. Some people might mind it for feng shui reasons, but the full-window lake view was fantastic, and it wasn't noisy despite being diagonally opposite the elevator. The shower room was quite unique for Europe, America, and Oceania, more like the integrated shower units common in Japan. It had a door to prevent water leakage, the showerhead could be moved without having to stand in the bathtub, and the water pressure was strong, making for a very comfortable shower. In hotels run by Indian owners, towels often have that distinct milky-sour smell after getting wet, but the towels here had a much fainter odor. Check-in at the front desk was very convenient and quick, and the breakfast was also abundant. The restaurant's lake view was also very pleasant.

The lake view room was beautiful, with a private balcony where you could see the lake as soon as you opened the window. It was super convenient to take a jet boat from the hotel straight to town. The service was excellent too, highly recommend!
