"The hotel was unique in its design. The room was spacious for 3 and the interior design of the room was great. Toilet, bathroom and bathtub were separated and we had all face no problem when we need them
Breakfast however was slightly below expected, the fruits were not so sweet and the cereals was a let down. It does not taste like original coco crunch and corn flakes. But other than that other food were okay for hotel level.
On the service, all the staff there were excellent and I had a wonderful stay throughout and ya they do also provide laugage storage in case you have a later flight.
It could have been awesome shall there be swimming pool available which were allowed for homestay residence only
But overall, I do love this hotel in terms of their service and design. ."

"The hotel's location is excellent. It's a 15-minute taxi ride from the airport and conveniently close to everything. Imago Shopping Mall is just a 10-minute walk away, and the new Jesselton Point ferry terminal is only 15 minutes on foot, making island hopping incredibly easy without any hassle.
The only minor disappointment was that we didn't get an upgraded room, and the view wasn't particularly great. However, it was wonderfully quiet, with no motorbike noise whatsoever.
I'd read some reviews saying the hotel was old, but I completely disagree – it felt very clean and new, with no strange odors. And let me tell you, the Hyatt's breakfast is amazing! There's a wide variety of options, and everything tastes delicious."

"Pros:
Location: It's not in the busiest area, but the main attractions are within walking distance.
Room: My 8th-floor room faced the river, offering a peaceful environment and a beautiful sunrise view in the morning. The room came with a basic kitchen and utensils, allowing for cooking. There's also a pool and gym available on the 4th floor.
Customer Service: The customer service was quick to respond to issues like internet problems, and providing bottled water and toilet paper. However, items I asked staff to deliver to my room (like bottled water) were significantly delayed. Self-check-in was convenient, and no deposit was required.
Suggestions:
Provide bottled water upon check-in (my friend, who booked an SCSP apartment with another company, had 10 bottles already in their room upon arrival).
Add clearer instructions for the hot water switch in the bathroom (I had to ask customer service to find out where it was).
Room cleanliness needs improvement; the sofa was dusty. I suggest arranging for cleaning during longer stays."

"It was great and convenient stay. The parking were quite hustled a bit (because the hotel were connected to the mall i guess), except if you added 50/15myr per day for the valet parking.
The room were better compared to those other legend hotels in Tawau; the floor carpet bit dirty and furniture quite oldies. The tv were working fine. The toilet were average; not to dirty but not too clean also. Toiletries were okay BUT they don’t provide toothbrush. Hm. Also we got the room that were strategically behind the aircond blower of the mall. The room soundproof quite decent; you can still hear people talking when they were at the hallways.
The mall behind got lot of shop; stalls, restaurant, saloon, cinema, massage parlour and at night, you can also enjoy a street food market 4 minutes by walking on the other side of the hotel.
So far we enjoyed the stay here. The staffs were varies; some were good; some maybe tired or just lazy, idk but checkin and out process were smooth."

"The staff were so welcoming and helpful; they assisted me during check-in because I wasn't aware that booking at M Centro means booking with Mercure. I bothered them several times, and they were always lovely. The rooftop pool is nice, as is the bar and restaurant. I ate there twice and really enjoyed the food. Their cocktails are also excellent, and the staff are very cheerful. The room was very clean, with good AC and good Wi-Fi. The only downside was not enough cutlery, but otherwise, everything was great. I recommend it."

HHaf LuqCheck-in process was smooth and the hotel has many good amenities like the pool and gym. Breakfast also had a lot of choices, which was nice.
However, this stay was a bit disappointing. I booked a Deluxe King Room but got a much smaller room than expected. The ironing board cover was too thin and left marks on my clothes while ironing. I was also unhappy because food that I kept in the room was thrown away, and the staff said they couldn’t find it, which was hard to accept since I personally kept it there that morning.
Hopefully the service and experience will improve next time.

Even after checking out, if your flight is in the evening, the hotel still provides an exclusive area for showering, getting water, charging devices, and resting. The facilities are comprehensive and clean. The family-friendly amenities are incredibly well-equipped, featuring three large water slides, a kids' slide, and water spray equipment. There's also children's bowling, bubble shows, character interactions, and much more, with different activities every day. They also offer some paid activities for children. The adult and children's pools are well-separated. I had hoped to see the bonfire show, but it was unfortunately canceled due to the weather. For sunset views, you can simply watch from the hotel. The hotel has various restaurants, where you can enjoy a buffet or à la carte dinner. I do hope they can manage the insects in the restaurants, as there were flies during breakfast.

There's a convenience store right downstairs, and it's very close to the pier. The sea breeze was a bit loud at night, but the breakfast was excellent and plentiful.

Room & Facilities: Our outdoor area directly faced the garden and the sea, offering a fantastic view. However, the indoor space was quite cramped, and the facilities were indeed outdated. There were also a lot of mosquitoes. The pool was nice, though.
Food: The breakfast and dinner buffets were very crowded on weekends, and if you went later, some dishes were already gone. The weekday breakfast and dinner experience was much better, and the food actually tasted quite good.

WWangconglongThis was my third time staying at the Kaseh Hotel in Kota Kinabalu, and I brought my mother along for a trip. As always, the stay was incredibly satisfying!
Service: The front desk staff were warm and helpful, offering check-in services in both Chinese and English. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and plentiful, with a wide variety of dishes that my mother particularly enjoyed. When cleaning the room, they always replenished necessary disposable items and even helped tidy up clothes on the bed and toiletries in the bathroom, which was very thoughtful.
Cleanliness: The hotel was clean and tidy, with daily room cleaning service.
Environment: The location is extremely convenient. Taking a Grab to city attractions is always within a ten-minute drive, making it easy to get to Sutera Harbour for island hopping and Gaya Street. There are also many restaurants and convenience stores nearby. It's only about a ten-minute Grab ride from the airport, so there's no need to wake up extra early to catch a flight. Getting around to and from the hotel is very convenient.
Facilities: As always, the facilities are complete. You can take hotel towels with you for island hopping and snorkeling, just remember to return them. There are plenty of drying racks, perfect for hanging clothes. There's also an outdoor swimming pool.
Hope to see Kota Kinabalu again next time!

The first thing that caught my eye when I entered the room was the view outside the window; you could see the entire landscape, and the vista was exceptional. All the facilities in the room were new and complete, the bedding was just the right firmness for a very comfortable sleep, and the desk height was perfect for my laptop. I stayed for three days and was very comfortable every single day. I'll definitely prioritize this hotel next time I'm in the area 🏨

SSanbuxiyangBooking was smooth and convenient, and upon arrival, the Marriott's service was as expected – efficient and helpful. However, despite emailing beforehand to request two adjoining rooms, we were placed on different floors, which was very inconvenient. The hotel's room service was good, but the room decor felt dated, not like it had been recently renovated, which was a bit disappointing. Also, if you're a light sleeper, definitely avoid this hotel. It's located directly under a flight path, so planes fly overhead frequently, which is terrible for sleep and rest; I was woken up multiple times!
