There is no cafe or restaurant in the hotel itself. But there is a convenient store at the hotel lobby that sell bread, fried noodles, drinks and snacks. There is also a vending machine that sell ready to eat meal with a microwave beside the machine to heat up the vending machine meals. Supermarket and restaurants / cafe is nearby in the shopping mall a short 5 to 10mins walk away from the hotel. For ****** and indoor theme park, it will take around 15mins walk cutting through the shopping mall, or use the other side entrance/ exit in the theme park to reach the indoor theme park and ****** entrance. Overall it is good for families with children going to the theme park. A bit far for old folks who want to go to ****** mainly.

The ambience throughout the hotel was perfect, providing a serene and luxurious environment. Overall, I give the Swiss Garden Hotel Genting a well-deserved 5 stars. Once more, I choose this type of room due to its comfort and size. Furthermore, the price range was quite reasonable. But there is a big need to improve the way the breakfast seatings is managed. The management of Copthorne has to take action to either expand the eating area or add more seats (especially during the busiest times of the year). For instance, it might be possible to temporarily open the dining area next to the gym or even take advantage of the large empty spaces surrounding the lobby. I don't mind standing in line, but having to wait for a long time is not something to take lightly. It is my fervent desire that Copthorne management takes action accordingly. Regards.

I had a wonderful stay at the Swiss Bell Hotel. My sea view room provided spectacular sunrise views, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was a highlight, with a wide variety of delicious foods and drinks. Overall, the stunning views, warm hospitality, and excellent breakfast made my stay unforgettable. However it would be much better if the cleanliness of the room could be upgraded. Highly recommended for a relaxing seaside retreat.

Can hear the next door guests watching TV and talking in normal volume. The plus things are the facilities like swimming pool, kids playground and common areas are well kept. The breakfast buffet spread was amazing and the confectionery like croissant and pan au chocolat are very delicious. However, the queue to enter the restaurant for breakfast was very long between 8.30-9.00am Suggest the restaurant to add more seatings to save guest's time. The ala carte dishes for dinner were ok. The lasagne was not delicious. The char kue tiao and chicken burger were much better. The vietnamese noodle was too gingery, not so nice. For the price, room, facilities and breakfast, it is very worth it. Most likely will come back again.

Pros: The location of residence is strategic as they have a linked bridge to eateries (mamak, cafe, many Chinese shop), convenience store, mart (7-11, KK, 99 Speedmart, family mart), petrol station (Petron). Somehow, it can be very silent and dark at night when walking at the bridge. The cleanliness of room is fair but could improve more as the sofa/couch is dusty and torn (I even had insect bites when sitting) but they cover up with a large cloth. The kitchenette had everything from utensils (spoon, fork, knife, scissors). It's equipped with an induction stove, a hood, a microwave, a refrigerator, big sink, dish soap, and a sponge. There was a cloth, but I knew it was not clean for ages because I almost fainted due to the smell, I had to wash it a number of times before using or else you could bring your own kitchen towel. There is also washing machine that has drying option, detergent powder, broom, dustpan, mop and a small portable clothesline. There is heater available but sometimes it goes off I doubt they have timer for the heater. The room was nice, but blankets and pillows are not properly washed and cleaned, it's obvious. The hall had TV box. They also had strong Wi-Fi connection. The hall also had small but wide coffee table, round dining table and chairs.The service from front office(maplehome) was nice and pleasant, one of them attended us was new or he was a trainee, but he still attends us well. The residence has a big swimming pool, child's swimming pool, a small exercise area, a small children's playground, a room with only one table tennis/ping pong table and a gym. The gym is quite a disappointment because there was 4 treadmill and 2 is not in service. One is showing error and one more couldn't even turn on (I have switched on all the plugs). The other machine was okay but only one or two can be used. The weight machine and others were very rusty and had no maintenance and cleaning. The only thing you can use is the dumbbell or weight, but it is also rusty. The lights can be turned on, but the fan couldn't so there was no ventilation, and I couldn't be in for more than 20 minutes. The sauna was in the washroom of the G(ground) floor, and it was not very safe as it is quite isolated from the security if anything happens, and it was locked because you need to inform the security and give your room details for them to record the usage of sauna. Cons: The main minus point in this residence is their elevator/lift. There were only 4 lifts in the whole block/tower with 38 floors. One of the lifts is under maintenance or I believe they it shut down, (tactics used by all residence/hotel to save electricity). The other 3 lifts were occupied every time. But the only thing I can't take it was during the checkout (on Sunday). Checkout time is 11am??? The number of people checking out is a lot and the lift will not stop until it reaches the top (38th floor). For your info, the lift stops at each level going up and going down. For example, I was on the 10th floor, and I could not go down as it have to go up first and then it opens at each floor until the top (38th). When it was going down, it opens again at each floor. So, I was stucked in the lift with no ventilation for about 30 mins, and I waited for the elevator for 20 mins. So, it's about an hour. We also chatted among the guest in elevator and all of them face the same struggle. Everyone waited for almost an hour for the elevator and mind you if we take the staircase, it is only accessible until G floor meanwhile the lobby is at the L7 floor (lower 7, lower than G floor). So, there is no way but to take the elevator. Next, is the environment that is silent and not much movement especially during the night which gives off creepy vibes. Furthermore, I did find a tiny baby cockroach under the shoe rack but I'm afraid it came from outside at the washing machine area.

It was a great stay at Hyatt Regency. Room was cosy and bed was comfortable. We particularly liked the bathroom area as it was very wide and spacious and had a sliding door to open to see your room. However our garden facing room was actually facing the forest and tennis court, and a little far walk from the lobby. Pool area was quite small. Nothing much to complain about as the location was really good, you have direct access to the beach and less crowd compared to the public part of Teluk Cempedak.

Room spacious, clean and comfortable. Pillows were fluffy, bed warm and soft. Breakfast spread had a lot of variety and sumptuous. Location excellent, just opposite East Coast Mall, and behind the hotel was a night food court with plenty of choices. Basement parking was easy and ample. Overall, a very satisfactory stay.

The room itself was ok, it was clean albeit a little bit small, and a little spot here and there but nothing to be worried about. everything was enough. Towels are provided, soap and shampoo also even though they are small, just enough for taking bath 2 to 3 times. If it is not enough, can request for it. There is an iron room. There is also a parking lot at the basement. I think maybe I should give 4 stars out of 5.

Very roomy and cosy hotel room with lots of internal space. The balcony's view of the lush surroundings is equally calming and fascinating. Excellent check-in and check-out service at the reception desk. For visitors staying on-site, parking is free (you must validate your TnG card in the lobby). Although there aren't many options for breakfast, the cuisine is nonetheless delicious. A few things could be improved (perhaps due of the ongoing renovations). For example, there is no connecting route, so visitors must travel a considerable distance from the parking building to the lobby. The parking building has no lift. The biggest drawback is that there's no direct route to drive from the hotel to GPO (for those who drive their own vehicles); need to drive down to the roundabout then turn back before taking the junction to GPO.

The front desk seems to be lack of training, perhaps the management can do something about it. 1. When we were checking in, told the staff we booked two rooms and he misunderstood that we booked a 2 bedrooms unit, hence we only get 1 parking spot. After a minor arguement only he recheck the system and realize we did book 2 units hence there is 2 parking spots. 2. The waiting time for the lift is horrible. We stayed at level 11, and there are 6 lifts, but we were skipped by the lifts lotsa time, sometimes we couldnt wait that long that we have to walk down the stairs, not just us, other tourists as well. 15mins wait and still couldnt get a lift? why is that? 3. when we checked out and ready to exit the parking, we were told that we need have our access card with us? I mean everyone returned the access card at the lobby during check out, why would the management want us to keep that card to exit parking? And we were told to take the access card to exit parking, and bring it back to the front desk? Why is this such a hassle to your customers?

The hotel was former apartment that makes the room so wide with apartment standard. Has a sink etc, the room it self was clean nice, nice bed, nice pillows,nice bathroom but they didnt give toothbrush and toothpaste. They have many restaurants, and lucky i was at tower 2 so easy to reach restaurant and the shuttle stop. The location is wonderfull, on the top of the mountain. But it was sadly when i stay there was big raining all night and morning so all foggy and i cany see the nuce few there, otherwise its wonderfull view if there was no rain. Overall that very nice hotel

Beautiful and clean hotel, with friendly staffs! Booked the deluxe room with balcony and I have nothing bad to say. The view and design is nice, room is equipped with Smart TV. There’s laundry machine and coway water refill outside at the public area too. Location is close to all the restaurants/coffeeshops (walking distance). Do note that parking is not free. All in all, an excellent experience!

The location was quite nice to the genting hill top hotels but the distance is still a bit further away. There isn’t much of the stores or shops compared to the mid hill of the condos and the food that sold there at the convenient stores was way more expensive and almost the same price as genting hilltop pricing. But if you don’t really prefer the winding route up the hilltop. Then this might be a better choice. For the room that I stay there is musty smell and the building is a bit complicated to walk from carpark to the apartment. But the scenery outside of the condo building was so nice with the view of the lake

There isn’t much of the stores or shops compared to the mid hill of the condos and the food that sold there at the convenient stores was way more expensive and almost the same price as genting hilltop pricing. I spent 3 days 2 nights here with my family for vacation. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality that made us feel right at home. The process, from unloading our luggage to checking in at the reception, was smooth and efficient. The porter and reception staff were polite and beaming with smiles. We stayed in a studio room, as we needed more space for our active child to move around. The room was in tip top condition—spacious, newly renovated with chic design, and maintained at the highest level of cleanliness. I would say, what you see on Trip is exactly what you get! I want to give special recognition to the Swiss Care team, especially a sweet and polite lady named Sihma (Swiss Care #1), who promptly and efficiently responded to all of our calls. She went the extra mile to ensure all our reasonable requests were met. The swimming pool attendants were diligent in their duties, ensuring the safety of all swimmers. Syed Lukman is one of them. The breakfast provided was consistently replenished to accommodate all diners. I especially enjoyed the nasi lemak on the second day—the meat was tender, perfectly spiced, and juicy. Kudos to the chefs and café staff for their excellent skills! I also noticed that a few middle-aged Malaysian aunties were employed as part-time workers in the café during the busy weekend. Despite their age, they worked efficiently and professionally. I think this is a commendable practice, providing job opportunities while boosting the local economy. The lobby and main facilities were a bit run-down, but I didn’t mind since they are currently undergoing upgrades, which are expected to be completed by next year. I’m excited to return when the renovations are finished!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at AC Marriott Kuantan and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The hotel combines modern elegance with top-notch service, making it a truly memorable stay. The room was spacious, stylishly decorated, and immaculately clean. The bed was extremely comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. I particularly appreciated the thoughtful amenities provided, such as the high-quality toiletries and the coffee maker. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, always ready to assist with a smile. The hotel's facilities, including the pool and fitness center, were well-maintained and provided a great way to unwind. Dining at the hotel's restaurant was a highlight, with a wide variety of delicious dishes to choose from. The breakfast buffet offered an impressive selection of both local and international cuisine. The location is perfect, situated close to the city center and within easy reach of popular attractions and shopping areas. Overall, AC Marriott Kuantan offers excellent value for money, combining luxury and comfort with exceptional service. I highly recommend it for both business and leisure travelers.

The Location of the Hotel is Super Convenient. Walking Distance to Kuantan 188 Tower, Art Streets and Night Markets. However, surrounding a bit run down but have lots of Parking. Cleaniness of the Hotel need more improvement and Renovation is Needed. Sound Proof for the Room is pretty bad. All items in Hotel Room is Old but still usable. Luckily Two Night was calm and peace, we sleep very well. Services is Good and have lots of Parking Behind Hotel. Suitable for Business Trip. Overall its still a Nice Stay. Not too bad.

The price of the room was reasonable given that it was during a Malaysian festive season as well as a long weekend break. Our room (suite) comes with a smaller room with an attached bathroom which is convenient for the four of us. Both rooms are equipped with standard amenities which is a plus point. The location of the hotel was tucked behind the main road so there was minimal noise level from the streets. The check-in and check-out process was hassle-free. In a nutshell, this hotel is well priced for a short stay in Kuantan.

I was assigned a room at 4th floor. Since its at lower level of its 15 storey, I requested a room facing not facing the noisy main street. Good choice: view of a football filed, a mosque and part of the city. The room: The Hotel management probably believe that 1980s heyday decor is a selling point. Save for the flat screen telly, the rest still preserves its 80s setting: louvred wardrobe, bedside cabinet central console with rocker switches, blanket on top of sheets (not quilt), tiled (not marbled) bathroom floor, queen (not king) bed. They try to keep the cleanliness but the permanent stains on chairs, moulds around aircond vent, peeling furniture paint, mildew on bathroom wall are beyond the housekeeping department’s routine; the whole place needs serious makeover.

1. Requested for a non-smoking room during check in, we found some stains on the bed. We tried to call housekeeping to change the bed sheet but the phone was not working. Had to get down to the lobby personally to inform the front desk to request for change of bed sheet. Housekeeping came and ”changed” the bed sheet. We inspected the bed sheet and found the exact same stain at the exact same location. 2. The toilet's door cannot be closed. Frustrated with 3 major issues within 15 minutes , we headed to the lobby and demanded to change our room. Got a smoking room as that was their last available room. 3. Telephone line was not working again, toilet roll was not available. 4. We know this hotel do not provide toothbrush & toothpaste so we brought our own. When we return on the 2nd day, all our toiletries were gone. Housekeeping threw our toiletries WITHOUT our consent when they do NOT provide toiletries. Had to go down to the lobby to make another complaint again (remember the phone was not working?). Front desk promised to send toiletries to our room but it NEVER came. 5. During check out on the 3rd day, the housekeeping saw us and offered to compensate us for disposing our toiletries. As much as I appreciate their effort to own their mistake, this compensation (if ever required) should come from the management and not their staffs for not providing sufficient training and making clear the hotel's policy to their staffs. Overall, I am totally upset and will never return.
