First what is heritage charge for local per room?was staying on 10th floor facing pool and gym view. Unable to watch YouTube channel on tv between 7pm to 10 ok m that night. Something wrong with their internet connection that night. I have been staying at this hotel once every month since Sept2024. This is the first time I encountered this internet problem. There are no other issue as the breakfast is good just that you may need to q in the morning waiting for availability of tables on level 3a

Good location , walking distance to all the attractions and our family of 5 had fun staying there 4 days 3 nights. I am abit worries about food and cleaniness but so far no issues for us because we likes the traditional fried rice and Nasi Lamak options also bread corner. .Due to Christmas season, there are many visitors and overcrowed but staff are trying their best to attend the needs. Swimming pool was fun too , its all 4 feets and most of the 10 years old kids can jump in easily. All Grab driver and food deliver are happy because Hatten hotel got easy pick up and free way to drive in . We also try in room dining and the Nyonya restaurant opposite of the hotel was cheap , tasty and long que. For the feedback, funiture and cushion looks already old .Best day are Friday, Sat and Sunday We will definitely go there again.thank you

Things to Note: • If you book the apartment side of the Shore, there is no Wi-Fi or intercom. While Wi-Fi isn’t an issue if you have a SIM card or data plan, the lack of an intercom is inconvenient. Any requests require walking down to the lobby, which is a short distance from the apartment. • The apartment includes a microwave and fridge, but despite being advertised, washing machines and ovens are not available for use. Kids’ Swimming Pool: The kids’ pool is fun and safe, but be cautious as the flooring is not slip-resistant. Breakfast: It’s best to go for breakfast at 7:00 AM or after 9:00 AM to avoid long queues. The breakfast is quite standard. Elevators: Expect some waiting time, especially before check-out hours. Overall, the location is great for families, but there are some areas for improvement.

The hotel is located at Melaka city Center in front of Dataran Pahlawan near Mahkota Parade shopping complex. The room & amenities are just ok. The parking lot is provided free by the hotel. Staff at the hotel is friendly and helpful. Easy to get the food and beverage by walking distance.

Overall, this is the best homestay we've stayed in a rush for 1 night. Very satisfied with the services here. The location is very convenient & near to find food outside to eat or few minutes ride to 99 speedmart to buy household products. Will choose place again if we suddenly go to Melaka unexpectedly.

The view of the junior suite was good but would have been better on a higher floor. Bathroom was huge and guests could request for chair within for elderly. Has sauna and steam room in the hotel but no spa. Seems a short distance from Jonker but will the long and unpredictable grab and room situation in melaka, the location of hotel becomes a inconvenience. However, air-conditioning is unable to be controlled and was too cold at night. Breakfast needs a queue, and food is not fantastic and has no signature dishes that you can remember after. Hotel does not respond much to request such as high floor or that there is a third guest in the room despite paying for an extra person. This is evident when the bathroom amenities, bathrobe and slippers provided were still in pairs. Though Hotel did top up more after the first day. When they do top up, they are not stingy.

I spent a night here after my talk in a nearby hospital. It is located at the business area of Ayer Keroh, which on the contrary, is not very busy. As it is one of the tallest building around, finding the hotel is not difficult. As the title suggest, it is a basic no frills hotel. The lobby is small and well lit. The room is clean and functional. It was well worth for the price. The issue is since it is fairly cheap, the hotel seems to be choice of the rowdy Mainland Chinese tourists. The breakfast was where they displayed their disorderliness.

Booked deluxe room but somehow got a suite (wasn't informed of this change). Checked in at almost 6pm but was told room wasn't ready so we had to wait 10mins, which was quite disappointing. Hotel is pretty dated but it is clean. Both tv not working in the suite. So good chance to just rest well after walking around

We booked this hotel as per recommended by other guests reviews. However, the first thing we feel upon arriving at 3pm is that the lobby is very warm, there is not even a think cold air blowing from the ceiling air-con. Anyway, we booked 2 rooms a week ago and we were told that the rooms are not ready, yet. The check-in time for this hotel is 3pm, but we have waited 30 minutes only to get our first room and another 30 minutes to get second room. The first room was super dark as there were only 1 light working, so we ended up calling the maintenance to fix all other lights in the room. The second room was not clean, hair were everywhere and there's even a pair of leggings hanging in the wardrobe. Both rooms showers were not properly clean, hence the water is not able to run, as it's clogged due to massive hair balls stucked in the hole. That's not all. As our rooms doesn't comes with breakfast, we bought 2 breakfast for the first room for next day. There was no meal vouchers given to us except the receipt as the receptionist told us to show just the room key to the cafe staff. But, the cafe staff refused to let us in even after we showed the room key to him. He told us that we need to present meal voucher to him, which was not told to us by the receptionist. We told him to checked in the system as we have paid for it and he refused to do so. He shoved us away immediately without checking further. After all the hassle, we went to the receptionist at lobby and seek for refund. And we were told that it takes 15 working days for the refund (which is MYR30 only). We paid by cash for the breakfast when we check in, but we cannot get our cash back instantly for refusing us go enter the cafe. We don't think that we deserved such treatment by the hotel staff, just because the room rate are affordable, doesn't means the hospitality standards can be regards as third world class. What else can we ask for? If it's not due to TripAdvisor system, I don't even want to give even 1 rating.

Had an incredible experience at this hotel! Our room was wonderfully spacious, perfect for our family's needs. What really stood out was their exceptional service. I mentioned my son's 2nd birthday and asked for simple decorations - they went above and beyond! The staff surprised us with beautiful decor and a special cake that made our little boy so happy. I was truly impressed by their thoughtfulness and attention to detail. The hotel's effort to make our celebration special showed their commitment to creating memorable stays for guests. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a hotel that goes the extra mile!

Good : The swimming pool is awesome, toilet with bathtub, superb smart tv with plenty of channels Average : twin beds have been combined into one, got space in between (not combined by me), no tea or sugar provided, just two drinking bottles, shower gel isn't refilled, bottle is empty, when requested, the owner asked to get it from the counter by myself ( which I didn't do ), toilet is not clean, got mould in the shower, Bad : Every entry must pay RM6

Good location... Easy to find food and facilities.. Strategic location and away from town. So far the receptionist friendly and easy to cooperate. Will come again.. And book again..

As far after viewing some negative feedback at A Famosa, we have some worries but still giving a try for our short stay in 4 bedroom pool villa. We checked in around 4pm and everything go smoothly. Our unit no is 1022, end lot which we have so much of privacy and fun time in the villa with kids. Villa is clean. No mosquito, aircon works. Although utensils in kitchen a bit less as we have only plates and cups, not even a washing detergent provided. You have to bring your own cooking stuff if you plan to cook there. We have a great time in the villa. Thank you A Famosa.

I am not sure why this resort has had so many bad reviews. Glad I still went ahead with the trip and have no regrets doing so. The place is very relaxing. There’s a buggy service to bring us around if we are lazy to walk or electric scooters are available for guests. During weekdays and off-peak periods, they serve a la carte breakfast and, for small eaters like me and my family, the serving is considered big. The lunch cum dinner menu don’t have a wide variety but enough to fill an empty stomach. Portion is not as large as breakfast so don’t think of sharing. Staff are friendly and housekeeping plus maintenance were quick to attend to our needs. The rooms are comfortable but being in the jungle, mosquitoes and ants are inevitable so just make sure that you bring along mosquito repellents.

We had superb experience for our body, mind and soul! From free upgrade to garden villa in the green to free appetiting herbal drink; from guided orchard tour to tasting organic honey from beehives; from trying out speleotheraphy in himalayan salt crystal room to jacuzzi spa session; from enjoying sumptuous specially requested vegan breakfast to signature massage, we truly feel overwhelming over the experiences and gratitude towards all friendly and helpful staff within the resort. 2D1N is rather short for us to explore more activities and we surely will visit again!
