The apartment is big and nice with living room, cooking area, 2 rooms and 2 bathrooms. Very worth for money as the cost is less than a standard hotel room. The facilities are good with nice swimming pool and gym. The security is also high. The link to the R&F mall is great though many shops in R&F still not open. However there are nice cafes and restaurants there. The tv is also good with Netflix and YouTube easily accessible One problem encountered is the air con which seemed to stop after operating for a while.

This is my second time staying in Holiday Inn . I love the hotel it has a strategic location in the heart of JB. It is just a walking distance from checkpoints and is located in Komtar.
Able to do lots of shopping previously but due to the renovation that is currently happening in City Square u will need to find another mall to shop nevertheless there are many eateries that u may find in Komtar.
Breakfast was good. Will come back again once city square is ready for operation.

The room isn't huge, but it doesn't feel cramped either. The hygiene is excellent, and the customer service is warm and friendly. Check-in and check-out were quick and easy. The hotel is integrated with a shopping mall, which is super convenient for grabbing food, getting a massage, or a haircut. However, the massage within the hotel was a rip-off – the environment wasn't clean, and they cut corners on the service. It was supposed to be a 90-minute massage, but it ended in just 70 minutes.

Location is good — very easy to grab around going KSL, mid valley. Room is Very spacious with large window of 2m. Shower pressure is good at 19th floor; but the bath tub leak(see picture ). Our bath towels look dirty and feel rough. Actually the bath mat looks cleaner and whiter than the bath towels.
Breakfast spread is good but taste so so.
Overall will recommend if you are not fussy. Most staffs are friendly.

Location near to ferry terminal, easy access to and from terminal to hotel because both in same building but different level. Ferry terminal at level two. Hotel lobby at level one.
Service ok. Breakfast ok many choices
But negative points, within and surrounding hotel there are clubs, noisy at night that disturb peace especially if your room is at lower level. Here the clubs n shop in building serve n sell liquor too...saw drunk lady outside hotel at night. Feel uncomfortable.
Car park n hotel use different lift so has to ask security guard how to get to hotel lobby after parking at multilevel car park. Quite complicated so need to ask specific directions to hotel lobby from car park .
Hotel building not new, but clean, room quite spacious, superb view from room at level 15 overlooking the sea.

Having stayed at Holiday Villa numerous times, I keep returning for one simple reason: consistency. It has become my go-to choice for trips to Johor Bahru, and it continues to deliver a reliable experience.
Why I keep coming back:
Prime Location: Being located directly opposite KSL City Mall is incredibly convenient. You have immediate access to shopping, dining, and the cinema without the need to navigate heavy traffic or deal with long walks.
Hassle-Free Parking: This is a major selling point. Between the ease of self-parking and the convenience of the valet service (at a reasonable RM35), arrival and departure are always stress-free compared to the often chaotic access at the mall side.
Solid Breakfast: The breakfast variety is surprisingly good, with a nice spread that offers a solid start to the day.
A Note on Value:
I am fully aware that the room rates here are generally higher than at KSL Hotel. While it is a bit more of a premium, I find that the extra cost is absolutely justified by the seamless parking experience, the slightly quieter environment, and the overall maintenance of the property.
Verdict:
If you value efficiency, ease of access, and a hassle-free stay, the slight price premium is worth every penny. I will definitely be returning.
Hotel is clean and staff are friendly.
Wide spread of breakfast to choose from.
There is free shuttle service to Mid Valley Southkey Shopping Mall so we don’t have to walk that far.
Will definitely stay again and recommend it to friends.

Very pleasant stay at the hotel! Had an add on of the breakfast at promotional price of 78 ringgit per pax and the buffet spread was awesome! The staff are courteous and welcoming, feel very warm each time we bump into them. There’s a pillow menu for you to choose & welcome cookies upon check in (very delicious)! The massage shop in the hotel called Swan Reflex was good and price is comparable with shops outside (had an additional discount for hotel guests). Hotel is about 10mins walk away from CIQ, abit difficult to walk now with the ongoing construction at the surrounding.

Great Stay with Beautiful Lighting
We had a wonderful weekend stay at this apartment. The place looks amazingly cool, especially with the LED lighting that gives the whole apartment a very modern and cozy vibe. The kids absolutely enjoyed the jacuzzi, which was definitely one of the highlights of our stay. Overall, everything was comfortable and we had a pleasant experience.
Just a few small suggestions that could make the stay even better. It would be helpful if extra plastic bags for rubbish could be provided. Also, some additional lighting at the makeup table would be great, as it is quite dark and we had to do our makeup using the toilet mirror instead.
Another suggestion would be to include some TV channels. When travelling with elderly family members, they usually prefer watching normal TV rather than Netflix. Providing a few extra towels would also be appreciated.
The sandals provided were fine, and the bidet is definitely a big plus point!
Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would still recommend this place.

I can say it’s a very strategic location hotel, just walking distance to famous tourist spots & Singapore just opposite the sea. JB Sentral just behind the hotel, can either drive or take train from KL to JB, travel around JB by ur own car or grab around. Free parking available is an advantage as not easy to find parking at this area.

GGuest UserThe kids had an absolute blast, totally worth it! This is my second time booking this hotel, and if I ever go to Johor Bahru again, I'll definitely stay here. Super satisfied!
YYuetming LowRoom service has room to improved. The 1st female rceptionist attended me on my check in has not taking my request seriously, I have to changed to another room & higher floor on my 2nd night and no smiling at all, not rude but seems not friendly. Overall the hotel is worth staying. The pillow quality & size need to upgrade, it's too hard & small.
GGuest UserWe arrived at 3pm then proceed to
check-in take us 45min …..
end up room not ready yet,
then we plan to leave our luggage to hotel and go shopping at Midvalley but we have to line up again for 45min just to pass the luggage 😡😡
So, the whole process checkin, leave luggage to hotel
….5 pm we only get the key and walk in the room😮💨.
Although we waited 2hr for checkin but I have to give thumbs up for the reception worker👍🏻, they are very polite , patient to explain the whole situation .
I hope management will look in to this situation and don’t blame for holidays …many visitors … all these nonsense excuses
Nnana1801The room and all its amenities are brand new. It's super close to KSL, just a five-minute walk away. Downstairs, there's a 24-hour convenience store, a hair salon, massage parlors, and restaurants. Plus, right outside, there's a Dai Sei Hei Dim Sum restaurant, making breakfast incredibly convenient. I've already recommended it to friends, and I'll definitely be back myself.

MMcainI had a really pleasant and comfortable stay at Ramada Hotel Johor Bahru, especially in the East Wing room. The room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with a cozy and relaxing atmosphere that made it easy to unwind after a long day. Everything was neatly arranged, and the bed was very comfortable, giving me a good night’s rest throughout my stay.
What I appreciated the most was the overall cleanliness and attention to detail in the room. The facilities were in good condition, and everything felt well taken care of. The hotel environment itself was calm and welcoming, which added to the whole experience.
The staff were also friendly, polite, and helpful whenever needed, making the stay even more enjoyable. Service was smooth from check-in to check-out, which I really value when staying at a hotel.
Overall, I would say Ramada Hotel Johor Bahru is a great choice for anyone looking for a comfortable and hassle-free stay in Johor Bahru. The East Wing room in particular is definitely worth it. I would happily come back again and recommend it to others.
GGuest UserHad a wonderful stay at R&F Princess Cove. The unit was clean, modern, and very comfortable, with a cozy atmosphere and tasteful interior design. I especially loved the warm lighting, spacious layout, and relaxing pool area with a great city view. The location was convenient, and the overall environment felt safe and peaceful. Perfect for a short getaway or staycation — would definitely come back again!
GGuest UserA great stay at Four Points Desaru. In terms of location, there are many useful shops located around the hotel like a supermarket, 24 hour minimart, pharmacy, bakery and even a floral/gift shop which I was able to surprise my partner with a bouquet. The service was also top notch with friendly staff and excellent housekeeping. Room was also clean and comfortable as expected. The breakfast buffet was very worth it with a large spread of food and all of it was delicious! Check out the amazing view too.
The only qualm for me would be the TV which did not come with ‘smart’ functions. At this price point I would have expected a smart TV, but not very relevant as most of our time was spent outside the hotel too. Overall a very pleasant stay and my hotel of choice when I go back to Desaru again
TTentenAmaiodinThe unit is spacious, clean and comfortable. The bed is bouncy and we slept well. The place also comes with useful amenities like a fridge, electric stove, oven, iron and hair dryer. However, there is no water dispenser or water filter provided. Basic utensils such as plates, spoons and bread knives are available, but there are no forks, bowls or other cooking tools, so you may need to bring your own or purchase separately if you plan to cook.
The downside was the check-in experience. We were only given the access card without the bedroom key, and ended up stuck outside for almost an hour trying to figure out how to enter. The owner’s response was quite late, which made the situation frustrating. The TV in the room was also not functioning. On the positive side, the owner did allow a late check-out at 1pm.
Overall, the stay was comfortable after settling in, but the initial access issue and late response affected the first impression.
RRona.LThis stay is 2D1N to celebrate my birthday. Excellent location, superb costumer service with polite and courteous staff. Clean and modern facilities in the room and throughout the hotel. Hotel Management even gave me a cake and staff wishing my Happy Birthday as a pleasant surprise! Additionally, they also extended my check out time by an hour. Well done Sheraton Hotel JB. Breakfast selection was superb. Will definitely stay here again.
