I had an amazing experience during my stay. The hospitality was exceptional, Jusika, who provided outstanding service has made my morning breakfast even more pleasant. The hotel’s location is perfect—right in front of Bikini Beach—which makes it incredibly scenic. I stayed in a sea-view room, and it was absolutely worth it. For Muslim, the qiblat direction faces the sea, creating a peaceful and serene atmosphere for prayer. The hotel doesn’t have a swimming pool, but its okay. I also joined an excursion by the hotel & enjoying spa treatment here. It just the water pressure a bit low in the bathroom. Overall, it was a memorable and enjoyable experience. I would definitely return!

A perfect resort hotel, it's not an exaggeration to say it's the ceiling of the residential island. The service on the island is very thoughtful. I only left a tip in the room once, but I found that it didn't matter whether I left a tip or not, so I didn't give it again. There are many activities on the island, the guide is professional and responsible, and the price is also very reasonable.

The speedboat ride from the airport took 60 minutes and the return took about 45 minutes. The weather was pretty bad when we went there, the waves were high, and the shaking was scary. It looks like you can go there by seaplane. I stayed at Superior Vista, but there were so many trees that I couldn't really see the sea from the balcony. The room was clean, the air conditioner worked well, and the shower had hot water and perfect water pressure. There are two 1ℓ bottles of water in the room, which are refilled every time the room is cleaned. There was sushi for rice! The tuna was fresh and delicious. There was a lot of variety and it was fun. When I stayed there, I didn't meet any Japanese people, but there were mostly Western customers. We saw a lot of fish while snorkeling. We also found sharks and rays! it's recommended.

The island is beatiful and the resort is pretty much everything you should want. Rooms were spacious, and well equipped. The service and the staff is very good and friendly too. The only thing maybe worth mentioning is that there only one restaurant where you can eat when you do all inclusive/full board (Sea Breeze) which can get quite hot as it’s not a closed area, meaning no aircon. The remaining 3 restaurants are not included and are charged separately.

The hotel for price quality ratio was good. Had a slight problem with the air conditioner but they resolved it/replaced it. Breakfast was pretty good but some of the food was too spicy for the customers at the hotel. Drinks for also expensive and I was just on half board so I didn't have any. The staff goes out of their way to be helpful and I had a pleasurable experience. Be warned this hotel has a very dead reef. You can see fish but no reef. One side of the island is not swimmable. I paid $123 for a ocean view room with half board. Drinking water is free and plentiful. Make sure you get half bored because the buffet dinner is 60 US dollars.

Our stay at this hotel was marred by a series of unfortunate experiences, starting from the moment we arrived. We were wrongly informed at check-in that our room had not been paid for, despite having completed full payment in advance. Rather than verifying the system, the staff member sat by as I anxiously searched my phone for proof. Ultimately, I had to show my credit card statement — something I consider private — just to resolve the matter. Her attitude was unwelcoming, which is especially disappointing in a hospitality setting. After discovering the payment had indeed been made, she gave only a brief and indifferent apology. Following this, my husband contacted the Manager, who offered a complimentary buffet dinner for two as an apology. While we appreciated the gesture, it was overshadowed by another issue: we later received a letter requesting us to check out by 7 a.m. the next day, even though our original arrangement was for a noon departure. After another call to the Manager, he once again apologised and offered a spa session for one person. Though his crisis management was swift, these issues should not have occurred — especially given the premium price we paid for our stay. That said, there were redeeming aspects. The view from our room was absolutely breathtaking. The room opened directly onto the beach — it felt as though we had arrived at the sea the moment we opened our door. The room was also clean and well-maintained and we appreciated the convenience of having a coffee machine available. In summary, while the scenery and room amenities were wonderful, the service and communication left much to be desired. We hope the management addresses these shortcomings so that future guests can enjoy a truly seamless stay.

The hotel is located close to the airport, 10 minutes by boat, the megalopolis of Male is visible, so I felt like I was on an island in Abu Dhabu. Villas overlook another island and the ocean. The rooms in the building are tired - 3 stars. The shampoo and gel in the room were of low quality and differed from the assortment of the villa. When you fly with hand luggage, it is important to have high-quality cosmetics in the hotel. Is it really necessary to save on this? The air conditioner in the room did not turn off at all and was noisy, so I slept in earplugs. The weather was rainy and stormy, so all the minuses of the hotel crawled out. Firstly, the restaurant, bar and lobby are not cozy, without much design. Secondly, there was INSTANT coffee for breakfast. Espresso or cappuccino for breakfast were only for an additional fee. Thirdly, the full board food was not at all pleasing. Every day there was the same dry fish. Seafood - frozen and tasteless. Meat and chicken are ok. All fruits and vegetables are unripe, tasteless and of low quality. Sometimes there were dishes with tasty sauce. Fourthly, the reefs in the ocean are nothing special, there is no variety of fish. On the plus side - it is ok to go in and swim in the ocean, the hotel is quiet.

Let me talk about the good things first: the island is big, the scenery is diverse, and it's not bad. The facilities of the Grand Water Villa on Linxi Island are very new. The guy who cleans the house is named Mohammed, and he is a nice person. Let's talk about the general places: the water villas on Linxi Island are all facing east, facing the Indian Ocean, and the wind and waves are relatively strong. Even at low tide, the waves are relatively strong when you go directly from the water villa to the sea, and the snorkeling environment is average. The food provided by the buffet restaurant is quite diverse, but they are all South Asian flavors and not very delicious. There are relatively few fish and corals on the entire island, and the shallow environment is average. Some beaches are okay, but the sand on most beaches is relatively coarse and prickly. The worst place: discrimination against guests who have half meals. There is a very bad Chinese housekeeper on the island. His English name is Hollis and his Chinese name is Shanshan. He said he was from Guangdong, but he didn't look like it. When he first arrived on the island, he knew that we had half meals and started to talk nonsense, saying ”The customers I receive are all full meals, or all-inclusive”, what's wrong with half meals? The money you get for half meals is also in US dollars, not **! He didn't reply to messages in a timely manner. This hotel does not provide free soft drinks for breakfast, half-board and full-board customers during dinner. Only water is available for free drinks for all-inclusive customers. This is not stated in advance. They just send you a reception note in English with a very inconspicuous line saying this. When I booked through Ctrip, Ctrip said that soft drinks were free. Later I learned that Ctrip is also an intermediary and booked through agoda. In the end, Ctrip handled it relatively well and reimbursed me for the soft drinks for dinner. When I had a dispute with the restaurant about this, this Chinese butler asked me to tell the waiter that I was a SAI customer, and did not tell me what SAI meant. I thought SAI was a person's name (later I learned that SAI stands for all-inclusive). After checking the records, the restaurant told me that I was not SAI, but half-board, and there were no free soft drinks. I don't know what this Chinese butler meant by doing this. Don't tell me that she was confused. There are several Chinese butlers on the island. How many Chinese families can she personally receive at a time? In short, I think Xiaohei despises me, as if I want to cheat them of drinks. For half-board guests, the water villas arranged by this hotel are neither facing east nor west, and there are houses on the north and south blocking the view, and they are very far from the bridge connecting the water villas to the island. Full of discrimination. Before leaving, they added 40 dollars to the bill. Fortunately, I checked it carefully and they deleted it reluctantly. This is not the first time I have come to Maldives. The overall feeling of this island is not satisfactory. Next time I come to Maldives, I will not come to this island. I may not even book any island of SUN SIYAM Group again.

We have a wonderful 5 nights here. Most people here are kind and helpful. We especially thanks to Chinmoy for his kindly and touching service that makes this holiday more special for our family. And we also thanks to Binod for his smile and offering good quality of food. We want to thank to the doctor for helping my wife to overcome the pain. The housekeeping Mr. Haneef did great job to fulfill all our needs. The front desk Miss Shau and the one from China (sorry that I forget to take note of her name) also offer us good help. The snorkeling is real good and we enjoy the atomosphere of relaxing here. We will definitely come back and have another good holiday here.

GGuest UserThis was my first time in the Maldives, and I chose this resort. Surprisingly, it had been raining heavily for several days before we arrived, but the weather turned exceptionally nice right when we got there—sunny every day. The staff at the hotel were extremely friendly; they would always stop to greet us whenever we passed by. The young hostess (likely the restaurant manager) and some servers in the dining room remembered our room number. The shuttle cart staff (not sure if his name was Jasper), Raj from housekeeping (who’s from Nepal), and our host Mariyam were all wonderful—they kept asking if there was anything they could do to help. The Filipino staff member who performed the fire show, as well as the teams at the sports center and water activities, were also incredibly kind and professional. Meals were included in the package, while water sports required extra payment. The spa was excellent: two Indonesian ladies gave my husband and me massages, and the ambiance and service were very comfortable. Overall, it was a highly satisfying experience, with the exception of one significant issue on our departure day. During the final breakfast, the fish curry served was noticeably off—it had a strong, unpleasant odor. Unfortunately, after taking just one bite, it led to severe food poisoning. I became violently ill on the flight, vomiting repeatedly, and the sickness persisted hourly even after landing. This incident greatly marred the end of our otherwise wonderful stay. I sincerely hope you can address and improve your food safety and hygiene standards to prevent other guests from having a similar experience.

EEgor KorolOur two-week vacation at Arrival Beach and Spa on Gulhi Island was the perfect trip for us. If you're looking not just for a beach holiday but also for a chance to experience authentic Maldivian life, this is an excellent choice. Overall Impression: We spent 14 days at the hotel and were truly sad to leave. It was our first such long vacation abroad, and it was simply wonderful. About Gulhi Island: This island is a great example of a ”local” Maldivian island. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay: a designated bikini beach, its own house reef for snorkeling, several shops, cafes, and restaurants. For entertainment, there are football fields, water sports, and various excursions. In the evenings, stingrays and nurse sharks swim up to the pier – a very unusual sight! Island Pros: - A small but very interesting island – if you stroll around leisurely, you can discover something new every day. - The local residents are very friendly and speak decent English. - The island is easy to get to – just a 30-minute speedboat ride from Male. - No mosquitoes – a big plus for evening walks. - You can observe fruit bats. Island Cons: - Sometimes you can smell paint from the repair shipyard. - There are flies. - Not very much vegetation. - Occasionally you see some trash. About Arrival Beach and Spa Hotel: The hotel left us with the most pleasant impressions. The staff is very responsive and the location is convenient. What We Liked: - Attention to detail: daily cleaning, towel changes, complimentary water in the room. - The rooms are clean and fresh, with good soundproofing and a wonderful view. - Amenities: beach towels and snorkeling sets are provided, universal power outlets. - Free sun loungers and umbrellas provided by the hotel on the beach. - Varied dining – buffet or a la carte menu. - Musicians perform on weekends – creating a pleasant atmosphere. What Could Be Improved: - The pool seemed rather cold. - The gym is very small. - During heavy rains, we noticed minor leaks. - The menu became a bit repetitive in the second week. About the Hotel Team: We would like to give special thanks to the staff who made our stay special: - Arif Sha - a great guy who knows a lot about sports and the hotel. - Ripha - the best expert on the Maldives and marine life. - Dilshani - a charming girl, pleasant to chat with on any topic. - Revil - the sweetest girl, her smile charged us with positivity for the whole day. - And of course, a huge thanks to the cleaning staff for their daily and important work. Verdict: We definitely recommend both Gulhi Island and Arrival Beach and Spa. This place is for those who value not only comfort but also genuine human connection. We left feeling like we had been visiting good friends.

GGuest UserThe water house we stayed in had a swimming pool. The room was big and there was a beautiful sea view on the balcony. From the moment we left the airport, the guy who picked us up, the guy on the speedboat, and the guy who sent us off really provided excellent service. When we arrived at the hotel pier, the management staff led the service staff to warmly welcome us on the island. When we left, they waved goodbye at the pier until they disappeared into the vast ocean... My English is not good, but I met Bonan, a girl from Baoji, China, on the island. She enthusiastically and proactively provided us with high-quality service, introduced us to information about the island, took our orders, booked boats, and delivered things to our room over and over again on hot days. When the room cleaner didn't clean for us, change towels, take out the trash, or deliver mineral water, she personally went to the room to serve us... I don't know why the room cleaner didn't serve us. I turned over the sign for room cleaning twice, but found it was turned back when I returned to the room. The room was still not cleaned. I don't know if I didn't tip the night I came. I didn't have change that day, so I went to the front desk to change change after dinner. However, there was no room service from the second to the third night. It was not until I told Bonan that the bathroom trash can was full and the mineral water was finished that Bonan came to the bathroom to watch over it, and then they started cleaning. I chose this hotel because they have a high score of 4.9. To be honest, all the services and details of the hotel are very good, but the behavior of the room boy really makes me feel that he is holding the hotel back and letting the chain down. I hope the hotel will strengthen its management so that all tourists who come to the beautiful Baros Island can return happily...

The service is pretty good, the room and yard are cleaned very well. The island is very small and only takes 10 minutes to walk around. AAndy pezLovely place and fantastic staff and food. However, on the downside, everything is overpriced, and they do try to up sell everything from food and experiences. We stayed in the water jacuzzi villas at the north of the island and ate in the adult only restaurant, which was fantastic. The food was good and the staff were lovely. Have Ali cook your complete in the morning. He's a real fun guy. On the excursions. The good and the bad and the total miss advertising of them. Sunset Punch Cruise is a joke. The punch is fruit punch, no alcohol. The advert gives you a sense of a party theme trip. It's not, and you just get a glass of punch at the beginning of the trip. Overpriced. Saw dolphins and a nice sunset. Shark Snorkelling disappointing 😞 overpriced and felt like being in an aquarium and not in the wild. Spent an hour on the boat to end up at an abandoned harbour with viewing platforms, and that's where you swim. Hit and miss with sharks. Traditional Dhoni Sailing Boat. Peaceful and lovely experience. 3 staff manned the boat, and we sat there enjoying the peace and quiet and the sun. We were very lucky and saw Sting Ray, Manta Ray, and turtles in our 1 hour experience. Excellent experience. Adventure Snorkelling was far the best experience and worth the money, which is dependent on the number of people doing the experience. Our guide was excellent and well versed in the reefs and wildlife around. A great half day adventure. Overall a get place to visit but expensive and overpriced in its extras.

GGuest UserThe most beautiful holidays I've had so far. That's how I imagine paradise.   Arrival Arriving at Male airport for the first time is an experience, the airport is on an island itself and after leaving the airport all you see is clear blue water. Instead of taxis there are speedboats picking up tourists. Kagi island is about 1h by speedboat away (which is practically the better choice for Kagi, since the distance is small and water planes mean much more logistical effort. If you never flew with a water plane and want to experience it, do it on the way back). When we arrived on the island, we were welcomed by very friendly staff and bongo music which was super nice. Maria made us feel like home from the first minute and showed us everything important before leaving us to explore our own place.   Room We booked a pool villa in the sea which was beyond beautiful. The room is big and offers everything you need. Shampoo / conditioner is refilled every day, there is cream and after sun gel, you basically only need sun cream (also available on the island in a shop). The room has its own pool over the ocean and even though I didn't think I would use it, I ended up being in there every evening enjoying the sunset. Same applies for the bathtub, which was in the outside part of the bathroom, I spent some very relaxing evenings in there even when the weather was warm. The only thing to consider, the waves can be loud and crush into the outside of your pool, especially during the night this can be irritating if you have a light sleep. I usually use earplugs, so I didn't bother, but my partner struggled quite a lot. There are other villas with wave breakers in front, can't say if this makes a big difference but I guess so. The downside is the view is not the same with the breakers and for snorkeling it’s harder to get to the nice part of the reef. I would still go for the villas without breakers.   Location The island is small but still offers everything you need. The reef is extremely beautiful, just jump in the water with goggles and you see all kinds of fishes, even some small sharks sometimes. As a diver I can say, the reef was more interesting to explore than many dives I had in my life. The Spa is great and offers various treatments. There is also a modern gym and you can participate in the Yoga lessons every other day. I enjoyed the lessons a lot, even as a total beginner. I already miss them, might start doing Yoga myself now. :) There is also a small diving center. The dive guide was basically always available to us, very flexible and cool. We went for 11 dives in total and we were not disappointed. All of them were special and interesting. We didn't have to worry about anything, the boat brought us directly to the spots and picked us up after each dive, the crew was very professional and experienced. Maldives are great for diving, don’t miss the chance!   Restaurants Main restaurant and a la carte restaurant. We only booked B&B and wen
