The hotel environment was very clean, and the bedding, towels, and stool mats all seemed to be made of better materials. I have a sensitive nose and am particularly sensitive to fiber dust, but staying in this hotel made me feel very relieved, and my sensitive nose did not flare up.

I made a reservation because I wanted to stay the night after the drinking party. The room on the first floor was clean and comfortable. I was disappointed that I only used the sauna in the large public bath in the morning, but the sauna was large and comfortable. The hotel was in a good location as we were visiting family who live nearby. Nice outlook over the water. The room was perfectly adequate for the time we were there but I suggest that the bedding could be updated with a more modern duvet. Toothbrush and paste and comb were provided along with body soap, shampoo and conditioner. Coffee and tea were available at any time. Japanese breakfast was provided but it was identical for the three days we were there - some variety would have been appreciated. A basic English breakfast of toast, jam and fruit could have been offered catering more to the taste of foreign tourists. The reception team were very helpful with translations on their phone. The flight of stairs with a suitcase was somewhat daunting!
