We had a fantastic stay at Tokinoniwa. The traditional Japanese breakfast and dinner were delicious, and the amenities were so complete that all we needed was a change of clothes! Our room had a private onsen, and we could also reserve a lovely public onsen. The only minor drawback is the distance from the bus terminal, with the last shuttle running at 6pm. Despite this, it’s a perfect spot for a relaxing and authentic onsen experience. We regret not extending. Highly recommended!

I have stayed at several Dormy Inns and this one feels very new. Neat and clean, the corridors are well lit, and it feels relaxed and cheerful. The furnishings in this room are relatively new, and it feels good! Staff, equipment, etc., are great! Will stay at Dormy Inn next time.

Excellent location near Yubatake, where local shops and dining options are plentiful. 4. The private onsen was amazing, with a convenient button to refill hot water into the tub. 5. Special afternoon and evening times offered free food at the lounges, including ice cream, turnip soup, sausages, noodles, and special amenities like complimentary interdental brushes and facial masks. 6. Hotel staff provided excellent and efficient service. 7. Dinner was a delightful 7-course meal, with each evening featuring a different menu. 8. Breakfast was quite good with a decent variety. 9. The complimentary parking area was spacious with plenty of spots, located right next to the hotel entrance. Cons: 1. There isn't much to criticise about the place. Perhaps the breakfast spread could vary slightly each day.

Takaragawa Onsen exceeded all expectations. Upon arriving at Jomokogen station, a friendly driver meets you with a sign and drives you comfortably for 25 km. You need to register in advance by sending an email to the hotel. Upon entering, you immediately feel transported to the past: you leave your shoes, choose a yukata robe with an obi, receive socks and special bathing attire, and proceed to your room in a traditional Japanese style (I highly recommend this to fully experience the atmosphere of the place). When you enter the room, you will likely experience a shock, as it feels like you've stepped into an old movie. I recommend a room with a small balcony in the Main building overlooking the river. Check-in is around 3 PM. You can change and head straight to the hot springs. Yes, everyone has been to saunas, steam rooms, and hammams, but the onsen is unlike anything else. It's impossible to convey the emotions. The combination of hot, clear water, pure air, surrounding nature, the rushing river, the play of light on the leaves, the scents, and the silence offers something new and unique. There are three public baths on the premises and one exclusively for women. After bathing, head to the restaurant for dinner, featuring local dishes. I recommend ordering both dinner and breakfast in advance. The food is very delicious and unique. You will sleep on futons, which will be carefully laid out for you while you have dinner. It’s a wonderful experience, and you'll sleep as lightly as a child. I would love to return here to experience that happiness again. One day was not enough.

There was only a socket near the tv wall, not close to the bed, which was a bit inconvenient. There was wide range of food in the buffet, with some interesting local dishes. Food was delicious. The hotel also offer free late night snack noodle, which worth trying too.

The hotel has performances every night, especially Japanese drumming, and the performers are very hardworking and serious. Although there are not many hot springs to choose from, the area is super large, so it doesn't feel crowded. The overall facilities of Sakurai Hotel are ideal.

There are many choices for breakfast and dinner. The coffee is average, it is brewed American coffee. Only a small part of the ski resort is open this year. The outdoor hot spring can be mixed with men and women wrapped in a towel. The snow-capped mountains can be seen at a glance. The starry sky is bright at night. Free popsicles are available after the bath. You can ski in and out of the ski resort directly. There is a school equipment rental next to the front desk. You can ski directly down and then take the cable car up. The hotel is mostly Japanese and *********, and there are ********* ski coaches stationed.

The designers and owners’ attentiveness can be seen in every detail, making the guests feel relaxed and comfortable. All three public baths have indoor and open-air baths, and sake lees masks and various moisturizers are provided free of charge. For a hot spring hotel of this level, the waiters were of course friendly, especially the brother who was responsible for picking me up at the station. The only foreign lady who was responsible for receiving me at the beginning was also very cute. The only bad thing is.....the food is plentiful but really not tasty! I am not a picky eater, but I can't finish breakfast and dinner.

It’s a bit hard to get to the hotel from bus terminal if u have luggage with u as it’s a downslope to get to the hotel. There’s also isn’t any lift in the hotel so we have to carry our luggage up to the second floor. We realised when we checked out that there’s actually locker for the luggage at the ground floor. There’s only one type of water in their public onsen which is kind of disappointing as we have high expectations since it is an onsen town. The onsen water however is good. We do feel some difference before and after onsen. There’s also free coffee & hot chocolate drinks right outside the onsen area. It would be better if there’s ice water in the onsen area as the water can get very hot & especially when there’s no cold tub there. The room however is spacious with comfortable bed. There’s also a foot bath located at the ground floor of the hotel right beside the breakfast area.

If you want to experience authentic Japanese tatami-style accommodation and stroll around in traditional yukata, this is a great choice. The hotel is conveniently located near all the hot springs, and accommodations here include a rich dinner and breakfast. It’s highly recommended for families or couples traveling together. I highly recommend it!

This was my first time using the hotel. The staff's service was excellent! The 3S was also excellent! *The parking lot was a little confusing. *I was able to enjoy breakfast without any problems. However, I wish they would set a certain time for breakfast. (I know this would be difficult) Because you may have to wait.

It was right next to Maebashi Station, so it was easy to find and the bus was right in front of the station, so it was very easy to move around. The selection of red wine (Pino Noir) is excellent! I was able to enjoy the room instead of room service because I could take out the food (satisfied) The difficulty is that there is no problem if the room and the oldness are regarded as history. I didn't know the villa in the wedding hall, and the staff at the ceremony hall went to check in and out. Not a hotel, so you need to be careful because there is no 24-hour staff. It was a villa like a single house, the atrium was wide, the outside was beautiful, and the moon was seen from the skylight, and it became a very calm stay.
