I booked a room from 12/28/23 to 01/08/24. I came to Nagoya to visit my son who is a student at Nagoya Gakuin University. The Hotel was perfect for all my needs! I can’t praise the staff enough. My room was perfect! It was not a huge room but had everything I needed! It had a small refrigerator, a nice bathroom, a small area to hang any clothes, a good size tv and a comfortable bed! Housekeeping was very kind and made me feel very welcome! I have lived in several countries during my life but had never been to Japan. I came to Japan knowing no Japanese and was a bit nervous that I was on my own when I’d come back to my room and my son would retire to his dorm but the staff was very patient with me. I was slowly being taught some phrases from my son and when I needed to communicate further with the staff I used my translator app on my phone. At all times the staff were very kind and patient with me! I can’t praise them enough! I had everything I needed within a minutes walk from my hotel! A wonderful 3 level grocery/department store was around the corner from my hotel called Aeon. I was able to buy anything I needed from food, drinks, and clothing. There was even Dominos pizza around the other corner if you wanted that. Down the street in a different direction was a pharmacy and fast food like McDonald’s . Kanayama train station was right there in the middle of everything and I used this everyday!!!! If anyone is traveling to Nagoya I recommend staying here!! With the train station being located so close to the hotel you can be anywhere in no time. My son was in Hibino so I would take the subway everyday to meet up with him or vice versa! I was so proud of myself for being able after 1 day of being their to be able to get around on my own. I hope anyone that chooses to stay here has a wonderful experience just like me! A mom right at 60 years old out of her comfort zone from Alaska! Thank you Meitetsu Inn Nagoya Kanayama Annex to all the Staff and Housekeeping for a wonderful stay in Japan!

Location is near to a subway station and near to the shopping and dining area. This is a few subway stations away from Nagoya JR main train station. Neat, friendly staff, good amenities with free flow drink and coffee bars. Good spread of breakfast and very value for money. night view outside the window.

First, we were greeted by the front desk and they gave welcome drinks. The room is small but very clean and everything we need is already provided. You can get toiletries in their desk. It is located near Nagoya station. When we opted our room not to be cleaned, they provided with eye mask which is very thoughtful, apart from being sustainable. Overall a pleasant stay here.

Location is a about 5-7 minutes walk from Nagoya station with nearby restaurants and convenience stores. Staff is so inconsistent - one second they’re polite and the next they’re rude and inconsiderate. I was charged 2000 upon checkout for “extra fee” but wasn’t even told what it was for. Was in a rush to catch my flight so whatever I just paid - but just be careful when staying at low budget inns like this. Laundromat in the hotel only accepts 100yen coins but they don’t even have a coin changing machine so you have to go out and buy something to get enough coins. Wont stay here again.

This time, when I returned home for the New Year, I stayed with my kids for one night as a break on the way. The location was very good as it was close to the highway and the price was low. However, I was concerned about hair falling in the bathroom. All I had to do was flush it, so I flushed it, but instead of boiling the water, I just took a shower. Also, the parking lot was really limited and I was wondering what to do since I arrived at night. I'm sorry, but I couldn't park far away with my child in my arms, so I had to park my car in a considerate parking space. The next morning, I saw other people parking their cars in front of the vending machines, so I wished the parking lot was bigger.

The hotel is located in an excellent location, just a few minutes walk from the Nagoya JR station and local sub-way station. The bus terminal which runs to the nearby cities and towns is also in the same area. The hotel reception is located on the 15 floor. It is quite easy to find as there are directional signs to guide visitors arriving at the train station /sub-way. The room itself is typical Japanese size, not too large but comfortable enough. Breakfast is Ok but not a lot of varieties, mainly Japanese and Western style. There are many restaurants located on the 12 and 13 floors, at the same building and the nearby station building.

Basic hotel but clean and well maintained. size of room is generous for Japan standard. about 10 mins walk from Nagoya station. There are fewer restaurants than the East side of the station so it's quieter in the streets. I will stay here again.

This is Marriott's point stay. [Impression] Overview In Nagoya, it is only a newly built luxury hotel for the first time in almost a quarter of a century, and the overall facilities are wonderful. Because I am a common person, I don't stay at luxury hotels in various places, so I don't know the evaluation of the obese person, but there was no scene that felt cheap during my stay. It is convinced even 50000 ~ per night. As a luxury hotel handled by a wedding vendor In particular, I honestly didn't expect this hotel because it was the first luxury hotel handled by a local wedding vendor called ”Love Group”. I think it is the perfection that betrays it. Since it is a member of Marriott, I think it is a hotel that was built after consulting firmly based on domestic and foreign trends. I think it is a Nagoya Castle or a tourist hotel in terms of history and formality, but it is not the best hotel in Nagoya in terms of luxury and high sensitivity. Also, because it is a hotel of a wedding company, wedding banquet facilities tend to be the main. However, I liked the fact that the hotel here was completely separated from the entrance of 1F from the guests, the wedding facilities and the conductor. It is difficult to see the drunken guests in the hotel lobby after the reception, and the guests may be able to stay quiet and calm. The design of the guest rooms is not glaring, which is often found in hotels with wedding halls, and is a calm and luxurious interior. That point is different from a certain wedding vendor hotel operated in Hachiji and Sasashima. Room Amenity is of high quality. Recently, due to the SDGs, bottle-type shampoos are installed at Ritz-Carlton, but this one uses individual packaging types. It is a branded product with a good scent, so I like it because it can be taken home as a memory of the trip and used at home. The dryer is a repronizer. Free drinks included bottled mineral water for 1 person 2 bottles, Nespresso and hotel original blend tea packs. The bedside B&O waterproof speaker can also be taken to the bath and the sound quality is very good. It was a city side room on the east side, but on the contrary, there was no skyscraper, so I was able to get up comfortably by taking a lot of Asahi. The park side on the Hisaya Odori side where you can see the TV tower seems to be higher in the room fee, but personally the city side is recommended. Fitness You can exercise comfortably while looking at Hisaya Odori, and there are fruits and drinks in the rest area, so you can take them freely. Wear and shoes are also lent for free, so you can easily visit during the gap time. The large communal bath and sauna are equipped with bottles of shampoos of the same brand as the guest rooms. The hair dryer is Dyson. Staff Because it is the first company to advance to Nagoya, there are many new hires, I had the impression that there were many young female staff in the first half of 20, but this young 々 and friendliness are this hotel. I think it matches the atmosphere of. I wonder if the perfect treatment of a long-established veteran hotel man is unnecessary here in a good way. The uniforms of the doorman and front staff were also stylish, mixing trends and formals with good salt plums. The guest rooms are only tablet terminals and it is difficult to understand various information, so it is a good idea to call the concierge and consult. He will respond immediately and call you properly by name. [If requested] I wonder if the welcome fragrance is a little sweet and tight. I feel a little yancha like a Abakuro store. Since it is a built-in hotel, I think it is a scent selected under some concept, but I feel that it is better to have a little more citrus or barbena scent. The rest is to match the scent with the amenities shampoo. There is no guide to the guest room, so you will be farewell by elevator. I thought I would bring my luggage at least later, because there were not many rooms and it was not a crowded day. Also, there are many things that are difficult to understand for the latest rooms, so I think it's better to have them come to the room and explain them all. This spring, the Royal Park Hotel in Chunichi Building, and in 2026, the number of luxury hotels in Conrad and Sakae will increase at once. I think the future is the critical moment, so I was doing my best while brushing up. I hope so.

I personally appreciate the location, it was easier than any other options we had around Nagoya since we’re traveling with a young child. Smoking in all rooms is prohibited as well. I noticed it’s harder to look for this feature in hotels in Nagoya. I have my son in tow and this is an absolute NO for us. The room was really small. We can hardly walk around the room. It was extremely challenging to takeout and pack our things because we didn’t have any space to fully open our luggages. Though as mother, I’m glad their walls are thicker than most hotels in Japan. We’re not troubled with the noise from the next rooms. It gives me peace of mind too that we’re not disturbing other guests in case. The breakfast was enjoyable at Yoshinoya. The branch is a heart beat away. It’s way better than my experience at another hotel nearby. We enjoyed the many pillows they offer. In terms of cleanliness, this could be well improved. For Japanese hotels I think the situation at this hotel is lower. I could see the dusts hanging by the wall and the bathroom door. It’s not helping that I’m one of those people who observes these things. I appreciate that they allowed us to deposit our luggage when we left for another city and got it when we checked back in. Saved us so much trouble. I will still stay at this hotel.

The hotel is about a 40-minute walk from JR Nagoya Station (Shinkansen JR Station/Meitetsu Bus Center) (taxi fare is around 1,400-1,900 yen). There are three supermarkets of different brands (Lawson/FamilyMart/711) around the hotel. There is a commercial street just a 2-minute walk away: Mitsukoshi Department Store (Mikimoto/Play, etc.), Matsuzakaya Department Store (Diesel, etc.), and many department stores, including Nike, Adidas, Zara, Onitsuka Tiger, Acne Studios, etc. In addition, all major luxury brands such as Dior/LV are available, and there are at least 4 drugstores nearby! The location is very suitable for shopping, there is basically no need to go anywhere else! However, please note that most of the business hours are 10:00-20:00, and a small number are 11:00-19:00 and 10:00-21:00. Drug stores are slightly later, so pay attention to the time when traveling! The hotel room is okay and the bathroom space is okay, but the service staff basically only dumped garbage and cleaned the bathroom during the stay! However, if you are just shopping, then this hotel is very cost-effective!
