The biggest advantages:
1. Free parking available.
2. Features a large public bath.
3. Surrounded by many shopping malls.
4. Excellent cleanliness.
5. Breakfast includes eel rice (unadon).
Disadvantages: The room wasn't what I wanted; the floor was too low. Although it had a balcony, it was too far from the elevator, and since my mother has difficulty walking, the room being so far inside with no alternative was inconvenient.

Excellent service, they handled our luggage very well. The room was also very comfortable. I especially loved their breakfast, which had a great variety. The location is perfect for exploring on foot right downstairs, and it's close to a famous unagi restaurant. I'd definitely come back here.

The hotel's location is good, right in the center of Rong. However, the room size is quite small, and the lighting is very dim. The room design feels a bit overly complex and impractical, and the mini-fridge is ridiculously tiny. The hotel corridors and elevators are predominantly dark-toned, making them feel very gloomy. The biggest flaw is that the hotel starts from the 24th floor upwards, requiring a transfer to another elevator on the 24th floor. During peak hours in the evening, there's a long queue for the elevators, which would make descending very difficult in an emergency. The front desk staff also aren't as welcoming as in other hotels; sometimes they don't even greet guests passing by. I won't be staying here again.

Located right above Nagoya Station, this hotel has been around for over 10 years, but its facilities are so well-maintained, it still feels brand new. The best part is the incredible convenience for getting around; you can hop on the subway, JR, or Shinkansen directly, saving a lot on taxi fares. The famous Takashimaya department store is also in the same building, spanning floors 1 to 11, with floors 12 and 13 dedicated to dining, offering a wide array of Nagoya's culinary delights.

This is a local Japanese hotel chain. The facilities are decorated in a Japanese style. Although it opened many years ago, it's still very comfortable overall. The rooms aren't huge, but they have all the necessary functions. For dining, the hotel has buffet, Japanese, Chinese, and French restaurants on the first and second floors, and the quality is consistently good. The location is very convenient, not far from the Sakae shopping district and the subway station. There's also a direct bus from Chubu Centrair Airport (NGO), so everything you need for food, drinks, and entertainment is within reach. The service was excellent. Although there was a slight hiccup where our luggage was taken by mistake after we checked it, the hotel staff quickly arranged to retrieve it, and it didn't cause any delays.

The entire hotel relies on air conditioning for ventilation, as windows cannot be opened. The double room was small, just barely adequate. However, the surrounding area offers excellent accessibility. It's about a 10-minute walk to Muji and the famous HARBS cake shop (the original, historically significant branch). Popular restaurants like Gyoza no Ohsho, Umahachi, and Chen Mapo Tofu (Matsuzakaya store) are only about a 15-minute walk away. The hotel is located between Sakae and Fushimi stations. We usually opted to take the subway one stop from Fushimi to Nagoya Station for shopping at Takashimaya (which houses the renowned Din Tai Fung on its upper floors). Getting to the airport was also convenient, involving a subway transfer to an express train. So, the hotel's location is indeed exceptionally convenient, with easy walking access to shopping centers like Mitsukoshi. During our four-day stay, we noticed a high number of Korean and ********* tour groups, which made it quite noisy. Therefore, it might not be suitable for guests who prefer a quiet environment or wish to enjoy hotel amenities. However, this type of budget hotel is very popular, with its affordable price being its biggest advantage.
A fantastic, luxurious hotel with excellent facilities and an incredibly comfortable nightâs sleep. From the moment we arrived, everything felt polished and well thought out. The onsen was a real highlightârelaxing, clean, and a perfect way to unwind after a long day. The view of the castle from the lobby was absolutely stunning and added a special touch to the overall experience.
The room itself was spacious and very comfortable, with thoughtful amenities such Nespresso machine made the stay even more convenient. We especially loved having a private balcony with seating, offering a beautiful view and a great spot to relax.
Overall, it was a memorable and enjoyable stay, and we would definitely come back again.

The hotel is stylish, though on the pricier side. The room is spacious, and I especially liked the Bluetooth speaker, which allowed us to play our own music. The bathtub, along with the provided bath salts, added a nice spa-like touch.
However, thereâs no water dispenser, and even small bottles of water come at an extra charge (100 yen). The pillows were quite small and not very comfortable, which made it harder to get a good nightâs sleep.
The location is also a bit far from the station, which can be inconvenient if youâre traveling with luggage or heavy bags.
MMryxOn our trip from Kyoto Uji to Nagoya and then Takayama, we chose this Courtyard by Marriott hotel. It truly lives up to a five-star standard, with a fantastic overall ambiance. Both the lobby and restaurant are very spacious, and the rooms are a good size too. It's conveniently located just one subway stop from Nagoya Station. Highly recommended!

FFAN_CI really like TIAD's decor, which is why I chose it over a very well-located Marriott. It's right above a subway exit. To get to Nagoya JR Station, you need to transfer twice, so a taxi is more convenient, costing between 1900-2200 JPY. The hotel's amenities are outstanding, including a Bioprogramming hairdryer (though only 4D). They provide London EH toiletries, and the bedding is incredibly comfortable. There's even underfloor heating in front of the sink. Overall, the experience was great, but the turndown service could be a bit more attentive.

Ffairy-momoThe humidifier box in the air purifier was quite dirty, looked like it hadn't been cleaned in ages. For breakfast, only the chicken wings and unagi rice were good; everything else was nothing special. Before booking, I was told there would be children's toys and puzzles, but upon arrival, the front desk said they only had picture books. As for children's shower gel and baby bottle cleaner, you had to call the front desk to have them sent up. The staff's service attitude was very good, though. The parking lot is conveniently located on B1, making it easy to get around by car.
