"We were good in the whole, but there are a lot to reconsider being a 4-star hotel. We say that from the reviews we had much higher expectations: the beautiful pool, quite small for the number of places available in the structure, few sleeps and lack of others in the equipment to add. If you don't get in a parasol right after breakfast, it's certain that after 1 h you're not gonna find any place and you're forced to sit in the tables despite the bathrooms in the pool. Another sin, cushions too low to sleep, almost inexistent, I asked for a cushion more and for having had to pray for it because I had been told initially that ” they were finished ” , When a coat was found in the careful control. Good food, but something to look at about quality. Cutting miserable, they brought us 2 pieces of parmigiano and two mozzarellins, the rest all salts recycled from breakfast. The spacious rooms, the perfect cleaning of the hotel. The spa is to be seen absolutely, the prices are excellent! The lack of staff, despite the period of freshwater, was felt in the various requests made, even in the very often waiting for a sprint on board pool. I would say that if there were more than one kind of observation, this hotel could really be a good place, but we went away, a little unsatisfactory."

"It is located in the Chia Laguna, one of the clusters of 4 and 5 stars of hotels. Beautifully managed landscapes and access to private beaches make this resort very attractive. However, it is for those who don't care about the quality of the hotel and for those who want to just sleep at night and take the most of the activities outside of the room. In terms of quality of the room, it requires lots of attention. You are most likely to enter your room through the sliding door, and then there is your bed, and there is a bathroom with a shower and toilet, bidet, and the sink. The bed is not comfortable, and there is a weird sewage smell coming from the bathroom, we had to spray our perfume and close the bathroom door, and leave the bathroom windows open. Typically, the hotel bathroom is a joy to enter, but this bathroom was one of those bathrooms that wanted to get out as fast as possible, especially with sewage smell. I had to dry my hair outside of bathroom so the sewage smell doesn't get to my hair. (Enough said) On top of our not-so-impressed experience, our neighbor left the TV on loud and party in their room until 3am, we couldn't sleep at all. Contacted the front desk at 1am, but loud noise still continued. Thank God, we only had to stay 1 night. I would have looked for another hotel if we had to stay one more night. Hotel reservations came with 2 meals, breakfast, and a dinner buffet. It was one of the worst food experiences not only in Italy but also in all the places we have ever been. At a glance, the buffet seemed fine and attractive, but as soon as we started tasting the food, we felt right away, we cannot expect much. Most of the dishes were extremely salty, lacked flavors, and the quality of each ingredient was bad compared to the dishes that we experienced in Cagliari. If you only care about the location and the beautiful beach access, this is the place for you, but if you care about all the aspects of what the resort hotel supposed to offer, it might be wise to either spend a bit more money and stay at either Curio or Conrad properties or consider different location or hotels. Hope this review helps you to decide where to stay in Chia Laguna."

"The photos show the view from my room and my breakfast. The staff was extremely friendly. I wasn't impressed with the food selection in the restaurant, which was rather limited. The friendly receptionist then recommended a restaurant within walking distance, which was indeed good. However, I find it completely incomprehensible why plastic cups were offered instead of glasses for water and juice at the breakfast buffet. We're in the 21st century; a little more environmental awareness would be appreciated."

"Service was phenomenal, the staff there were very friendly and caring, any problem or request and my needs were met. The hotel is very clean, the area is quiet with no disturbances during our stay. Room was equipped with AC which was very nice after coming in from the heat. The room was clean, with the beds being very comfy. The only negative to this place is that it’s in the middle of no where, in order to get there from the airport it’s either a 2 hour walk (have to walk around the motorways) or have to get a €20 taxi. In addition to this, it’s another 30 minutes roughly bus ride to the centre, and a good 20 minute walk to the closest shops. The hotel itself was excellent however the location is a really big negative to staying there. If you don’t have a car it’s not worth staying unless you can sort out travel."

Modern, elegant, but not cold hotel: you breathe professionality and attention to the client from the entrance. Spacious, clean and very quiet rooms, perfect for really rest. Comfortable beds (which is not expected) and bad rooms. The hotel has a very good breakfast, with a wide choice of sweet and salad, and is suitable for everyone. Mangia's Sardinia Resort - New Opening

Good

We recently stayed at Mangia's Sardinia Resort for one week, and unfortunately, our experience did not meet our expectations. When we arrived at around 3:30 pm, we were told our room was not yet ready, which we completely understood. The reception staff asked us to wait at the bar next to reception and said they would inform us as soon as the room was available. However, after waiting for two and a half hours without any update, we went back to reception ourselves, only to be told that our room had been ready for some time and they had simply forgotten to inform us. This was not a great start to our holiday. We also booked boat trips through the resort for Saturday and Sunday. We were asked to pay for the Sunday trip first because they weren't sure whether the Saturday trip would be available. We were told they would send us a message with an update, but we never received one. The day before, we had to go back to reception to ask again, only to find out that the reception and the boat excursion desk are managed separately, so the reception staff couldn't help us, and by then the excursion desk was already closed. Better communication between departments would have avoided this inconvenience. The resort has four restaurants, but three of them require advance reservations. By the time we arrived on our first day and tried to book, they were already fully booked for most of our stay. Since we were staying for seven nights, it was very disappointing that we were only able to dine at one of the specialty restaurants. Guests staying for a full week should have a better opportunity to experience the different dining options. Finally, we also had a disappointing experience at the Lime Bar. The kitchen officially closes at 5:30 pm, and we arrived at around 5:00 pm hoping to order burgers and sandwiches. We were told they could not accept any more orders because there were already too many in the queue, and they wanted to finish serving by 5:30 pm. It was frustrating to be turned away 30 minutes before the advertised closing time. Overall, while the resort itself is beautiful and has great potential, the organisation and communication between staff and departments need significant improvement. Unfortunately, these repeated issues affected our holiday, and for that reason I cannot say we were fully satisfied with our stay.

Good standard hotel with spacious if somewhat dated but clean rooms and a nice pool with bar. Great location if you want to be close to Olbia Terranova train station as it’s next door. The hotel is a 10 minute walk from the old town. Rooms do not have soundproofing so not ideal for light sleepers. I arrived at 12:30 and was told the room would be ready between 2and 3p. As check-in officially starts at 2pm I sat down and waited patiently only to see some other guests get a room straight away. At 2:15pm a Dutch guest kicked up a fuss when he was told his room wasn’t ready and he too was then given a room. At this point I protested (having waited for 1hr30) and then also got a room. Whilst the reception staff were friendly this was not a great check-in experience.

The location is fantastic. We stayed here as a couple, and the biggest highlight was definitely the view — the sea is literally about 20 metres away, with a beautiful direct view from the terrace/balcony. The hotel also has its own small private beach, which is very cozy and pleasant. The staff at reception were extremely friendly and welcoming. The location is also excellent: Porto Cervo and the marina are only about 10 minutes away by car. The main downside is that the hotel itself feels quite dated. You can imagine that 30 years ago it was a luxurious property, but today the rooms clearly need renovation. Our room was quite small, around 15 m², with old wooden doors and even traditional mechanical keys. There is a certain old-fashioned Italian charm to it, but for this hotel category and price, the rooms could definitely be more modern and comfortable. The food was average. The indoor dining area where we had a meal had a very strong food smell, so we preferred sitting outside. Breakfast was served in another area and was perfectly fine overall. In short: an amazing seaside location, beautiful views, a lovely private beach and very friendly staff, but the rooms and some parts of the hotel are noticeably outdated and would benefit from renovation.

Beautiful, new hotel in a secluded location on the north western part of Sardinia. We loved the modern interiors, pool area and super comfy bed. Hotel lobby staff were helpful and welcoming. Overall we had a wonderful stay however we felt there are a few things the hotel could do to improve the guest experience especially for a 5 star hotel: 1. We noticed mould in the corners of the shower and on the shower head. Perhaps cleaning staff do not do a thorough clean or think to treat the mould problem which is disappointing for a new hotel; 2. Pool and room service menu is pricey and very limited with only a few options. We don’t mind paying hotel prices however felt the menu wasn’t as appetising and ended up eating outside the hotel the whole time except for breakfast. Given the location away from the town, the hotel could offer simple item like pizza to keep guests in the hotel. Breakfast was great with many sweet pastry options however had limited hot food like eggs, sausages and bacon only; 3. The room we were in felt like an earthquake and startled us each time the guests below us entered and exited their room.

We spent four days at a resort in Sardinia and chose not to explore the city, as we were looking for pure relaxation as a couple. The resort was well organized and offered convenient shuttle buses that could take you to the beach or the pool, which made getting around very easy. Our room had a beautiful ocean view, which really added to the peaceful and relaxing atmosphere of our stay. There were two swimming pools: one large and deep pool, and a smaller, more shallow pool with a small waterfall, offering a nice variety depending on your mood. The beach was pleasant, especially during the daytime when the water was clear and transparent. Later in the day, the water became less clear and looked more like a typical beach. There were many small fish swimming in the sea, but they did not bite. Along the shoreline, there were quite a lot of small black pebbles or particles. However, the food was disappointing and not as good as you would expect from Italy. Overall, we would not fully recommend this place.

Baglioni Resort Sardinia

Incompetence and lack of professionalism are the basis of this resort branded Baglioni but there is little of Baglioni except the logo... It is an old resort called Paradaise, renovated as best as possible and used as a trap for foreign tourists who have few demands . Staff not adequately trained and in some cases too pedantic. Room cleaning not done or done hastily, at absurd times like 5.30pm. Leaving a greasy, wet cleaning cloth and a lot of hair in the suitcase… That the guest service provided the laundry for free... I would say the minimum in cases like these. For a 5 star hotel and even more so for a Baglioni there is a lot of work to be done to improve the services. Deserving a special mention are Paolo and Antonello from the beach service who do everything to make up for the shortcomings of the structure, Francesco from the always professional restaurant and the director Victoriano for the upgrade.

I loved the location - near Lidls (perfect for stocking up for beach trips). Also near Decathalon. But they gave us 2 single beds and we were on a honeymoon claiming I had requested it. Their system is getting orders mixed up, as my actual request they didn't have in their system. Breakfast is decent, scrambled eggs every day which were good, but as someone who doesn't eat meat would be good for more choices. There were croissants, yoghurt, water. I'd stay here again. I also used their turkish steam spa which was lovely - easy to book in your time. Room decent size too.

I am very happy to book such a quality resort in Trip.com! We stayed for a week, the Arbatax Resort is very large, built on the small mountain slope of the tropical style, there are three different styles of private beaches, it should be the most beautiful beach resort we have ever stayed in! The water temperature in the central and eastern parts is also very comfortable. It is much warmer than the water temperature in the north. Be sure to bring diving 🤿 supplies, tropical fish 🐠 seaweed sea urchins. The seafood resources are too rich! Four swimming pools, several restaurants, Italian dishes will not disappoint you! Buffet breakfast is recommended to go to the outdoor terrace on the second floor, the exterior is invincible! Tennis and padel are a bit expensive! However, you can participate in the daily group fitness class for free, and the coach is a sexy private tutor from Florence! The car can't enter the village, and you need to do a free bus to the parking lot at the gate 🅿️! You can also walk to the parking lot, uphill downhill good to digest some Italian food!
