Breakfast is not suitable for Chinese taste, but you can experience the Dead Sea style and local food in Israel. There are many types of buffets. I am not very suitable as a northerner. Hehe

This hotel has the best breakfast of any we experienced in Israel. However, the room was designed very badly. There was a sort of table that unnecessarily tapered to a point so that one could only use one computer at a time and only one proper chair was provided. Though Reception were helpful on arrival, I approached them later, when they were a bit busy, and waited until one of the staff wasn't serving anyone. That person went to the computer and worked busily on it until I walked away in disgust. At the least he could have acknowledged my presence and asked me to wait until he had completed something urgent. There was no information about the hotel and its facilities in the room and we didn't even know that there was a restaurant there that we could have gone to one night when we wanted a meal.

We enjoyed the location (close to the dead sea) and the salt water pool in the spa. We had everything we needed but for the amount we paid, the hotel was a disappointment on every level. Service - we arrived right at check-in time and our room still wasn't ready. We were told it would be ready in just a few minutes so we sat in the lobby which was full of people waiting for their rooms to be ready, and 45 minutes later we finally got our keys. Cleaning - In the morning we went to breakfast and returned 2 hours later to find our room was still not cleaned, and only when we specifically asked them, they ”cleaned” but didn't even replace the towels. Towels - while clean towels are provided at the outdoor pool, you collect them from a laundry bin where they are not even folded, just straight out of the laundry room (we were skeptical they were even clean but multiple staff members directed us there for clean towels). Dining experience - there is a buffet available for all meals, but at the first dinner we had to go track down a staff member to bring us clean forks because none of the tables were fully set. At the second dinner, we waited 30 minutes just to get a table to sit at. Kind of ridiculous. The food itself was just okay... Again, would definitely expect at least a little more considering the nightly rate here. I still had a great trip and got everything I truly needed to enjoy myself but the hotel facilities definitely did not contribute to the experience and I would not stay here again. When you pay so much per night, you should at least get folded towels at the pool and not have to chase staff down just to get clean forks at dinner.

Breakfast is very nice I checked out and the shuttle bus picked me up to the stop. I was absurd

Ziva at the front desk is amazing. I booked a room with a pool. It was room 103. The access to the pool is right of the room but it is not handicapped accessible if you need that. The main pool is. My wife and I are people of size and we found the shower area to be problematic. Unlike many hotels where there is a curtain for the shower, this has a glass door that opens INTO the shower reducing the available space until you close the door. My wife was barely able to close it and I could not close it at all. I tried to do my best to keep the water in but there was a pool of it on the bathroom floor which is a hazard. My wife mentioned it to Ziva because I don't speak Hebrew and she was able to change our room to one that has no barrier between the shower and the rest of the bathroom and is designed to have the water squeegeed into the drain, They even provide the squgee. The breakfast buffet is very nice with an omelet station and if you want to bring food to your room they will give you a box. My wife and I don't travel to Eliat frequently but we would consider staying here again.

Great staff, helpful and friendly. The hotel is clean, well organized. The food was excellent. We had a wonderful time. The only thing that has nothing to do with the hotel is the heat. Don’t come in June, July…. It is so hot, the sea is boiling hot so you can only stay in the hotel. Lucky it is so good

We had an excellent stay at the Neptune. It is a 5-star hotel, part of the prestigous Dan Hotel chain. Our room had a balcony overlooking the 25 meter heated pool with the Red Sea beyond. The room was a generous size, clean, with an upholstered arm chair that doubles as a spare single bed. The bathroom had a big mirror and a glass-door step in shower. The soap and other amenities were renewed as needed, and fresh, soft towels were provided generously. The curtains completely darkened the room if desired, the room was thoroughly cleaned and the sliding door to the balcony was spotless. The large size double bed was comfy with lots of pillows and a warm coverlet; the closet had adequate shelves and hanging room and extra hangers were provided promptly when requested. Every room has an electric kettle, two glass mugs, bottled mineral water and coffee, tea bags, sugar and sweetener for making hot drinks. There is a small fridge and safe as well. The buffet breakfasts were extraordinary! The dining hall staff were very helpful and willing, and kept the buffet constantly replenished and beautifully presented, not easy with lots of kids helping themselves. In addition to manned espresso machine, the hotel had recently installed two self-service coffee machines, so there was no wait to have a hot drink. The buffet had several fresh salads, as well as cut up vegetables for making your own, and several freshly made salad dressings, olive oil, lemon juice, fresh lemon quarters, and nice touches like bulgar and roasted seeds. Fresh cut citrus fruit rounded out the selection. Two chefs prepared omelets to order with fresh eggs, fresh sliced mushrooms, onions, parsley and grated cheese. Additional warm dishes included scrambled eggs, hard-boiled eggs, mini sliced baked eggplant, fresh pancakes or waffles, baked cakes including delicious warm cheese cake, croissants, borekas, and various specialties like lasagne and fresh pizza. There was always a selection of yogurt, sour cream, cold pudding deserts, as well as fresh cold hotel specialties like malaby and a whipped cream-cheese cake that was heavenly. There was a good selection of sliced hard cheeses, both salty and mild including a great fresh ricotta and white cheeses, like cottage cheese, white cheese with scallions or fresh dill. Tuna chunks, tuna salad, at least two kinds of herring, green and black olives, pickles, halva cubes and every kind of condiment were always available. Cereals included corn flakes, granola and 2 other choices, cold milk and cold chocolate milk on tap, chocolate spread, apricot and strawberry preserves, syrup for pancakes and waffles, in short, just about anything you could possibly want for breakfast. The hotel had many families with children, which resulted in some spills and dropped pancakes, and the dining staff always cleared things up immediately. The food and service were exceptional. The staff was amazing and the children were occupied in the play room and pool all the time. The pool had a saxophone artist who played both up beat music and relaxing music. The location is great and is the last hotel on the hotels ***** and a waking distance from a private beach. The hotel also has a 2 more restaurants which are great. The rooms are great with great view to the Dead Sea and have amazing sunrise view.

The environment and location of the hotel are very good, but the service is really bad! We arrived at the hotel around 1 pm, more than three o'clock to stay, queued for nearly two hours. The front desk service was poor. The Dead Sea floated at 5:30, and it was closed. It was equivalent to staying in the night, and it would also send flyers to the room. Let us check out at 11 o'clock. It was really uncomfortable. There are other hotels nearby, it is estimated that it is so cattle because of its location.

This hotel is conveniently located on the Dead Sea. The floating sea has a dedicated salt sea, which is great. But the entire hotel is almost the Russian grandmother aunt, the halls and meals are whine, very lively, if you like quiet it is definitely not a good choice, the hotel room hygiene is not very clean. Although it is 24 packs to eat, there are not many types to eat, and there are time rules for eating.

The cleanliness in the dining room was not high. Plates were dirty. There was a stage when I asked the waiter for draft beer and I received a bottle. When I told the waiter I said that I asked for draft beer, he simply said no, so I said I was not interested. Then he replied that he had opened it and there was nothing to do in our private pool. The ladder broke. And it took 4 and a half hours until it was addressed. In addition to that, there was a lot of sand in the pool, but it should be noted that there were employees at the hotel who were great and provided good service. The food receives a score of 3 out of five. The location of the hotel is excellent, central by the sea and shopping complex

Everything was good. Good bed and kitchen,we were family of 5 and we had everything we need .Of course we brought from home what we did not expect that will be in this flat like shampoo ,soap,oil for cooking,salt,fan. There were a fairy and new sponge for washing dishes. We liked everything and I recommend this apartment to everyone .

I stayed at the hotel between 17.5 and 21.5. The hotel is outdated, the dining room is reasonable and the pool is standard. However the customer service is very poor. We booked a room for 2 people, arrived two co-workers, got a room with a double bed. We were told to call room service and they would come and split the beds. We called, the guy who arrived said that the beds can not be changed because the base does not allow it in the room and if you want you can arrange the sofa bed as a bed - in the same breath he recommended calling the reception to change our room. I went to the reception, I mentioned the situation, the clerk could not help and referred me to the hotel manager - she just shouted at me that I should not come to her or contact her, I told her that the receptionist referred me to her so I came - it did not really interest her. Realizing that another room I was not really going to get, I asked the room service to arrange the sofa for the bed. Room service arrived again and brought us a blanket sheet and pillow. I called customer service, said I did not pay less than any guest at the hotel, why should one of us sleep on a couch ?? The employee told me she had nothing to do, I asked a principal to get back to me. To this day (after the holiday) I am waiting for the same call. We slept with two adults when one was in bed and one on a couch (that could not be opened!) For an entire vacation. Another point, you can also get- Room with a view of the garbage cans and a wake-up call at 7 a.m. with a truck coming to evacuate them.
