Castle Oaks House Hotel
3.9/546 Reviews
Love the Castle Oaks Hotel, stayed here few years ago & fell in love with the place & the lovely friendly staff. It's the ideal place if u just want to relax & enjoy the walks down by the river. We stayed last weekend & really enjoyed our stay. Breakfast is very good & plentiful, we had dinner both nights & we weren't disappointed. Maggie & Josie are out on their own, hotel is very lucky to have two hard working & friendly ladies. Only downside was that there was no live music in bar on Sat night, we were looking forward a sing song. We are looking forward to returning soon 💛

We did not visit the actual hotel area. The Bistro Bar is pretty 'ordinary' but they serve very good food with excellent service and very pleasant staff. Quite good value for the money. Wouldl recommend
Hotel Woodstock Ennis
4.1/577 Reviews
I was very pleasantly surprised by my experience in this hotel! From the very first point of contact at the reception the staff exuded friendliness! I had the salmon at dinner - which again was very good! The following day I hade the chowder for lunch - exceptional! FYI I am a pretty accomplished cook. The gym had full olympic bars and a great range of dumbbells to meet the needs of a regular gym goer. Pool, sand and steam looked great - I didn't have time to use them as I only stayed one night. Breakfast was great - lovely coffee - Yeah - I recommend this hotel!
Park Inn by Radisson Shannon Airport
4.1/576 Reviews
Nice hotel and rooms have everything you need, 2 minute walk from airport. My only feedback is we got to the hotel at midnight and was hoping to get a beer but the bar was closed, as a Radisson you could offer a small range of drinks after midnight for late arrivers. I wouldn’t expect them to open the bar but could easily have 1 option of bottled beer and a wine.
Stella Maris Hotel
4.4/541 Reviews
Stella Maris is stellar… special and it’s due to the lead of the owner Rolf. The rooms are specious and charming. The sunroom is a highlight with spectacular views of the rolling sea. The food is wonderful. All this is due to the lead and tone of the owner Rolf. He is the soul of the place and is ever present to ensure your stay is wonderful… and our stay was exactly that!
Trump International Golf Links & Hotel Doonbeg Ireland
4.6/551 Reviews
Fanatastic hotel, staff very friendly, food was excellent and extremely helpful. Beautiful beach, great views of the Atlantic and a fantastic beach. Great golf course too, but woukld advise against using a caddy, of maybe just one caddy for the group because there are lots of blind shots and first time playing you would need some guidence, we used 2 caddies for 3 golfers and got charged 400 Euro just for the caddies, really spoiled the round of golf.
Temple Gate Hotel
4.2/572 Reviews
The Templegate is a superb town centre hotel with great staff, fabulous food and spacious, well appointed rooms. Its success emanates from the local owners, whose values filter down to every part of the operation. The result is a real gem located in the heart of Ennis town. Food and drinks offerings are superb. It must be good. It’s the favourite for locals, too. Every staff member exudes a professional yet friendly ethos that emanates throughout the hotel, which stands on the site of a former convent. Its unique design evokes a still remembered past. Yet with all the modern facilities. Free parking is an added bonus for guests visiting the beautiful surrounding countryside, castles and historic sites dating back billions of years. We’ll be back at The Templegate very soon for plenty more craic. Slante! Chris and Aileen, Brighton, UK.

Radisson Blu Hotel and Spa, Limerick
4.1/568 Reviews
We stayed overnight in the Radisson Blu Limerick after attending a wedding there recently. It’s a lovely hotel with beautiful grounds. We really enjoyed our short visit with wonderful food, a spotless room and very friendly staff. I would like to mention Gabrielle who worked at our table during the wedding and who met us and showed us to our table next morning and took our breakfast order. She was so pleasant and helpful to us on each occasion we met her. We were sorry to have to leave without enjoying the hotels extra facilities, the pool and gym etc. We hope to get back soon for a private stay.
Lahinch Coast Hotel and Suites
4.2/5103 Reviews
Had the miss fortune to visit this establishment last week for food 6/9/24. Unfortunately I wouldn’t recommend this establishment as a place to eat , we entered the lounge area next to the main doors behind the reception desk and tables clearly set up for food after sitting for nearly 10 minutes nobody came near us with menus or to ask if we’d been looked after, a gentleman in a suit who I know is a manager as I was present the night before having a few drinks in the bar put his head in our area and turned on his heels in the opposite direction eventually a server came and brought 1 menu for a group of 8 and we had to ask for more menus. When pointed out how poor the service was she told us we should have waited to be seated far enough but the way we entered had no signage this was pointed out to her and we told her about her managers actions and that we were tourists visiting her establishment she shrugged her shoulders and walked off without offering to take a drinks order on her return we decided to leave . I have nearly 30 years experience in hospitality and find this establishment to be highly unprofessional I wouldn’t visit it again
