Definitely book a room with a view, and on a higher floor if possible – opening the windows wide is an absolute delight! The hotel's location is superb, right next to a beautiful street lined with restaurants and terraces, all very clean and cozy. I explored the entire Pest side on foot, returning to the hotel during the day to rest. I highly recommend staying at this hotel to truly enjoy Budapest: it's great value for money and offers excellent quality. But the most important thing, for me, is the view of the cathedral – even the most luxurious five-star hotels in this part of the city don't offer such a view. There's a small restaurant downstairs; I was rushing to the airport and asked them to pack some food for me. The staff carefully packed coffee and sandwiches, generously adding vegetables and meat. It was a small detail among many impressions, but a very pleasant one! I highly recommend this hotel 💗"

"Front desk is super! I needed to see a doctor or get some medication on Good Friday which was a public holiday. The duty manager and front desk staff assisted me with an address for a 24h pharmacy located out of the city centre by train. I managed to get the medication eventually, as well as see the community neighbourhood too on a quiet Friday morning.
The room I stayed in faced the Parliament building and morning sun too. It was very warm despite with the AC turned on and lasted even through the nights we stayed. Our request for a fan helped a little to ventilate the room. But this may be just the problem for the room we stayed in. Housekeeping staff is nice and pleasant. The standard of beds made was only average. But perhaps, this was the expected standard for Novotel hotels in Budapest. Other than these, the room view facing the Danube was amazing and the location is near to Castle District. Our stay was pleasant overall."

AAnonymous UserCheck-in time was flexible; we arrived early and were immediately given a room to rest, which was a huge plus for those arriving on early flights. Our standard room was on the 5th floor, a typical hotel room setup with good natural light and plenty of sunshine. The mattress was incredibly comfortable. In contrast, the bathroom had a much more distinctive design. A highlight was the small spa pool on the basement level, which had a unique vibe, wasn't crowded, and was very relaxing. It's complimentary for guests. While the hotel breakfast didn't have a huge selection, everything was relatively tasty, especially the Hungarian baked eggs, which were exactly to my liking. The staff were friendly and helpful. Recommended! PS: There was a wedding party on the day we checked in, and the music was quite loud at night, but fortunately, we couldn't hear it much from the 5th floor.

GGuest UserBooked this for my elderly family members. If you have a car, this hotel is definitely the best choice! It's worth noting that the parking lot downstairs is not the hotel's free parking. We ended up getting a ticket for 9900 Forints.

GGuest UserThe hotel is very close to the airport, and the shuttle bus is super convenient. The staff are warm, friendly, and professional. The hotel decor is unique, and the breakfast spread is excellent. The room was spacious, and there were even flight paths on the carpet! The only downside was that there was only one small bottle of 2-in-1 shampoo/body wash, and it was almost empty, making it very hard to squeeze anything out. I hope they can refill or replace it promptly next time.

GGuest UserThe room was medium-sized, clean, and tidy, with a safe, but no slippers or toiletries. It wasn't facing the street, so it was very quiet, and offered a view of Fisherman's Bastion from the window. Breakfast was good, with freshly baked mini bread rolls and hot water available.
Exiting the hotel, if you turn left, the M2 metro station is a few hundred meters away, and there's a chain supermarket nearby. There's also a tram stop right in front of the hotel. If you turn right, you can climb the stairs behind the hotel to reach Fisherman's Bastion, which involves three sections of stairs. Continuing straight after turning right, you can walk to Chain Bridge and Buda Castle. It's quite convenient and I'd recommend it to independent travelers.
The only downside is that the shower area isn't fully enclosed, so water splashes out onto the floor. I suggest this be improved.

Our room was fantastic—not only was it clean, but it was also large, giving us plenty of space to relax. A small touch that made a big difference was the availability of plenty of tea and coffee at any time. It was perfect for starting and ending our days.

Mmorino_mimiI chose this hotel near the airport because I had an early morning flight the next day. It's right in front of the airport (or rather, within its premises? Inside the airport parking area, I'd say). After checking out, I was at the airport terminal in just 5 minutes. The hotel itself, as well as its facilities, seem quite new and are very clean. Despite being right in front of the airport, I couldn't hear any take-offs or landings, making it wonderfully quiet. Overall, it was a comfortable stay.
