I just HAD to write a review on my stay here. Well... this was my 3rd hotel in 4 nights of travelling. It was also the cheapest one, and the only one I was kind of dreading! Oh how wrong could I have been! From the moment I entered, the receptionist was so friendly and helpful. Welcoming, kind and professional. I asked if there was any fridge I could use to store some food items I was travelling with and they kindly put these in the staff area for me overnight. Could not do enough to help. The hotel feels more like a modern new hostel than a hotel. The vibe in the communal area felt very much like a classy hostel. It was warm, friendly and welcoming. Free unlimited tea and coffee down there was great. Breakfast was only continental, which I hadn't realised. Lovely pastries, but a shame no hot food was served. Rooms are very small, as I had expected, but functional, Plenty of charging sockets, good hot shower with amenities. As I arrived into the station at terminal 1, and was flying from terminal 1 the next day it is quite a walk with heavy bags. There is no shuttle bus or alternative way to get to terminal 1 from here, only the skylink. This would have been fine, but the moving escalators on the skylink were switched off. When I asked the hotel staff about this, they said they have not been working for months. I don't know why this is, but it would have made moving to/from the hotel a lot easier so it was a shame. Overall a very good and unexpected stay. For the price, I would stay again. Thanks to all the staff for such a pleasant welcome.

My husband and I came to the hotel on Friday 7/10/2022 room 1216 I honestly couldn't say anything negative about this hotel . The moment we walked in Georgia and neelam on reception greeted us warmly and explained everything. Once we settled in we came back to the bar to enjoy the amazing range of cocktails made by Gabriel :) the bar staff were all amazing from the manager phoebe to Pablo and andree they couldn't do more to make you feel welcome . Our room did have a view of the construction but we expected that as we are in the middle of Manchester and it was not a problem at all . The breakfast was beautiful unfortunately I didn't get the gentleman's name who was clearing the tables but he was so nice lastly I would like to give mo from housekeeping a massive shout out our room was spotless and he even gave me a kit kat 😀 what stands out about this hotel is the staff and I mean all the staff shine they all greet you with smiles and I know how hard that can be for a full shift 😀 can't wait to come back thank you

The building is very old, and while it has some charm, it could definitely use an upgrade. You can feel the wear and tear in the common areas and some of the rooms. Rooms: The rooms are a mixed bag. The basic rooms are just that—basic. They’re not particularly comfortable, and if you’re picky about where you sleep, you might feel underwhelmed. However, if you go for one of the upgraded rooms, the experience is much better. Those rooms feel cleaner and more inviting. Breakfast: Breakfast is a solid deal at just £9. It’s not a luxury spread, but it gets the job done. You’ll find the usual options for a budget-friendly hotel breakfast. Staff: The staff are a highlight of the hotel. They’re very kind and helpful, making you feel welcome from check-in to check-out. Value for Money: Overall, this is a budget-friendly hotel, so you do get what you pay for. If you’re looking for a no-frills place to stay in a central location and don’t mind the dated vibe, it works. Our overall experience wasn’t very satisfactory with this hotel. We got a non-window room, the staff members at the reception had no customer service skills as they wouldn’t help with minor inconveniences like providing coffee sachets except the member named Yasar. The room was very hot and only table fan was provided, no AC option. The specifications of the hotel do not meet as it says GYM, sauna, etc. I am an influencer and youtube vlogger, I have a detailed review about the hotel on my channel.

Pros - Room and facilities in room all top quality andd better than any other aparthotel I'd previously stayed in which I can sometimes find to be cheaply fitted out (this was not) - Great coffee, little treats and real milk in the fridge! And the fact it had a fridge btw to keep my little treats chilled! - Super comfortable bed - The power washer-esque shower nearly knocked me over! - Nice scented toiletries - Ironing board and available without needing to ask reception - Wonderful view across the Manchester skyline - Great location for me, maybe 10-15 minute walk at most in any direction to main areas (Picadilly, Arndale, Deansgate, Spinningfields) with the exception of the Northern Quarter (which I knew) - Room could easily accommodate 3 adults Cons - Downstairs lobby area under refurbishment wasn't the best first impression - Lifts could get busy at different times of day - Touch controls took a little getting used to - Would have been a bit pricey at full price for me as a solo traveller but as it was I got a great deal in advance through a bit of up front research and site searching

We only paid £42 for our room as we wanted to be close to the airport …. Used Twilight check in so checked our cases in today and fly in the morning. Room absolutely fine, bar area nice, prices bloody great for a hotel in Manchester especially if you get here for happy hour between 5pm and 7pm … I think it’s Sunday to Thurs. The reason I am writing this review is because of a friendly, very helpful black chap named Michael, he’s awesome! I offered to buy him a drink as we were leaving as I had no cash … he said he couldn’t …. I was gutted, he deserved it!!

Very busy on arrival and popular in the bar and restaurant. Check in staff very helpful and patient with travellers despite their varying needs for attention. The room very spacious, clean well appointed and quiet- n espresso machine for example. Loads of hot water . A very convenient location close to the station and terminals good price and friendly - would highly recommend and importantly I will use again - the facilities at Manchester airport are really going up a level from the established brands (which look tired now by comparison).

We called the hotel from Brussels airport to get a basic sense of where to expect the hotel shuttle for pick up; we were told by the reception staff / operator, that one has to make the reservation online and the last pickup was at 10:00. We asked if she could make the reservation since I was already on the phone with her, but she explained it was an outsourced party and we had to do it. Our flight had a scheduled arrival at 09:30, so decided to make the shuttle booking. It was not easy to find a link on their website. Called them again to ask them where I could make the online reservation and was told one just has to cut across the street and the hotel was right there. Which we did. Luckily we had a small carryon with wheels each and it was not raining at that time, although the roads were wet from a recent rain shower. Hotel was functional. Clean/nice. IF you are arriving late, with the elderly or with a couple of large suitcases, please keep this in mind. Also call to understand the hours of operation for the shuttle service. It’s England, so having an umbrella handy is always useful. (As of mid March 2023).

Excellent location, 3 mins walk from train station at Piccadilly. Gym is spacious and a good selection of equipment. Buffet is good, but is expensive at £17.50, one of the most expensive at any hotel I have stayed at. Rooms are spacious and have good air conditioning

Everything was perfect. But it was a matter of big surprise/shock that this holiday inn Express hotel has not got a single USB charging point, not in the room, not in the breakfast area even. Would suggest to make some small investment like couple of thousand pounds in putting some USB charging points at least in Public Areas. Even busses and taxis are providing them The kettle in the room was so unique.

Great airport hotel. The room was clean and nice. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The included breakfast was good. The hotel isn’t really within walking distance of the airport, an Uber is £10 but the hotel is much cheaper in comparison to the Radisson inside the airport.

Booked this hotel as there was a train strike the day of my flight. Also it's right next to the airport and slightly cheaper than Radissons inside the airport. However, there were no signs from the train station for the hotel. I ended walking around roundabouts I'm not supposed to be on! Turned out I should have walked inside the airport to get out nearer the hotel. Bit of a queue at check in, but ok otherwise. Room was comfy, with a settee. The coffee cups seem to leak- both of them! Would appear to be the material the cups were made of. Big soft towels were a delight. Separate bottles on the wall for shower gel, shampoo, conditioner. Good shower, options of normal and rain shower in a big shower area. Check out was easy, I didn't pay for breakfast. I did a short run in the morning around the hotel car park! Needs must... Overall, I would recommend it, as long as you know how to walk to the hotel from the airport safely! I would recommend the hotel liaise with the airport about signage. If there were signs and I missed it, then they need to be prominent, including detailed directions on the website.

During my stay, one of the restaurant staff was rude and made my family and me feel uneasy. The person didn't have good customer service skills, and it felt like we were being treated badly, which was upsetting. On the positive side, the receptionist was welcoming, lovely breakfast and the location is convenient.

Booked via Copthorne direct. Decent queue at Check in which is from 2pm, room not ready told to come back at 3. Strangely they wouldn’t take our bags until then? Anyway went out to OT got back at 9:45 tried to get 2 hot drinks from the bar but told machine was off. Room was just ok. Looks like it needs an upgrade. Room was clean enough but the bathroom had several cracked tiles, horrible silicone and an actual chip in the bath that had been ‘painted’. Bed was awful. That mattress had seen some traffic and in desperate need of a changing. Breakfast.. bloody hell where do I start. Waitress at the desk was very pleasant. No cutlery on the table. Several dirty tables waiting to be cleaned away. No plates at the hot food area, then topped up with cold plates once requested. Offer of hot food was poor. Dishes under the lights with very little left. Looked like it had been rattled by a bus tour, this was 8:30. Maids were very pleasant, receptionist upon checking out was also Bert nice. All in all decent staff bang average hotel and amenities. If I had paid £150 for the night then fair enough but it was £300 ..

Excellent stay! No complains! Breakfast buffet had a variety of options to choose from. They even kept our luggage for few hours with them when we checked out and roamed around the city. kudos to team!

I stayed for 2 nights on business. Have stayed previously. The hotel staff are always friendly and helpful the hotel is a great base, clean and comfortable beds. I would recommend the breakfast too. The young man on reception is so helpful and even remembers faces of those who have previously stayed. He is a credit to your hotel, his customer services skills are excellent. Thanks also to all the staff who work in various sectors of the hotel.

Great location, with free parking. Lovely comfortable bed, large room, clean and quiet. Breakfast buffet great, plenty of choices. Easy check in and check out.We will definitely stay again.

Venue has a beautiful ambience from the moment you walk in to the various places you can sneak and relax around the property. Safe surroundings to go for a walk or work out in gym or swim in the pool. Loved it very much will be coming again. Carol and Ray

We travelled with teenage son for this UK trip so we preferred 2 Bedroom apartments, our preference is service apartment. This is a good price for this location, this comfort. We booked for 3 nights stay unfortunately they dont provide housekeeping daily, [ no towel change / no dish washing/ etc ] however you may request for housekeeping daily @£45/day!. The rooms are not big though but comfortable enough for 3 adults. 2 Bedrooms 2 bathrooms 2 queen bed , washer , fridge, kitchen, nespresso machine etc .The location is good 5 mins - 10 mins to food, malls etc. They offer special price for car park opposite Qpark at £18/day. That's good for us cheaper than London which cost us £50/day. Cons: The apartment living room lights are too dim, has widnow but locked and feel stuffy. Pros: we prefer service apartments for long trip with family.

It says what's on the label. clean, tidy, helpful staff. Great location for theatre area and close to tram system, which makes it easy to get to city centre

A lovely Travelodge. Rooms are clean not as spacious but worth the money the bathrooms are small but still for what you pay for it’s acceptable. It was clean and you also have coffee/tea kettle in the room. We checked in at 1am and the staff on duty were very helpful, parking is also good and opposite the hotel but you need to give registration and get ur discount code ( we was fortunate as the parking ticket machine was broken so we parked for free) a very pleasant stay and highly recommend!
