Turquoise has a lot of potential with its good staff and stunning views of the pyramids of Giza, making it appealing for budget-conscious travelers. However, the uncomfortable beds and the seemingly indifferent attitude of the owner take away from the overall experience. It’s an affordable option, but improvements in comfort and management would go a long way.

We stayed here for 1 month in August, and now we returned again. Indiana Hotel is a great option for affordable accomodation in Cairo. Located in Dokki, a pleasant area with lots of shops, cafes, pharmacies nearby, and the river nile 2 min walk away with beautiful restaurants. The best thing about the hotel is the spacious, big rooms, comfy beds. Large fridge, TV, lots of seating area in the room, Also they include breakfast which makes it better value, you can expect things like Egyptian bread, fresh salad, falafel, and free coffee or tea. The staff are all friendly, accommodating. If you are looking for basic, clean accomodation it's perfect. located in a nice area of Dokki. Recommend cafe Antakh 2min walk away.

We stayed 3 nights during Christmas and our room had a view overlooking the pyramids. We enjoyed both the sunset and the sound & light shows at the balcony. The room was basic and the breakfast was simple, but the price was absolutely reasonable. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The only downside was that the food was a bit cold. Overall, the hotel is recommended.

Highly recommended for tour groups, vacationing couples, or backpackers with a variety of room styles available, featuring spacious balconies, numerous functional amenities, tasteful design, and breathtaking views of the Great Pyramids. Hotel also features a rooftop restaurant Heightopia overlooking the only surviving wonder of the world, with extensive and impressive food and beverage offerings with a variety to suit all manner of tastes.

The clerk service is particularly good! ! ! The little buddies are very enthusiastic and the waiter at the door is also very reliable! You can see the pyramid on the balcony upstairs. The pizza price in the store is also very normal, and it was sent to the room. The elder of the guard is also very good! Always help us, always smile and serve us guide! The garden is also very good! Really exceeded expectations! The only fly in the ointment may be that we came to stay in January and there was some cold because the hotel air conditioner only had cold air 🥹

The hotel has been taken over by Hilton. The location and scenery are very good, and the facilities are acceptable. The top floor 44 is the revolving hall, which requires a reservation for dinner, overlooking Cairo. There is a place for sailing on the river not far from the hotel. We recommend sailing. The breakfast is rich and has many choices. The hotel's rooftop swimming pool is only open until sunset at 7 o'clock (this is the case for hotels in Egypt), so you have to go in advance if you want to. The service was average, and it took a long time to deliver luggage to the room (the overall service industry in Egypt is very fast). There is a Nubian restaurant next to it, right by the river. The view is nice, but the food is served too slowly.

Stayed 3 nights and the rooms were comfortable and the service was exceptional. I usually don't write reviews, but this property deserves it. The entire staff was very helpful and accommodating to ensure their guests were comfortable. Omar A\Azem deserves extra recognition. He works in the main restaurant and he really went above and beyond to make sure we were well served every day. We left our cell phone at the table after a meal and he was so courteous to run after us as we were entering the elevator to return it. Thank you Omar for your exceptional service. The Sheraton Cairo is successful because of employees like you.

Lovely staff who saw to all my needs and paid attention to detail. The location is quite far from the airport but obviously close to the pyramids. I did book the Nile river cruise through the hotel and the driver was quite weird. He stayed with us on the table and it was quite an invasion of our privacy. The hotel will probably call and say they have a free gift offered I.e driving to different stations like the papyrus paper shop and oil store, it’s information but a little waste of time.

Very friendly and accommodating. Every single employee we had an encounter with went out of their way to see if everything was good and asked if we needed anything. Nice pool. Little kids club area with foosball table next to the pool. We needed some cough medicine for our son. The front desk called the pharmacy and it was delivered to our hotel in less than an hour and very cheap!

Very Clean, Comfy and well presented, Extremely accommodating, Very Welcoming and friendly service from both Osama’s, Best Breakfast i had during my entire trip..with a great view!! Great location for entrance to the Giza pyramids. 5 min walk A lot cleaner and quieter than the other side of Giza (sphinx entrance) where i started my trip 10days earlier.. I booked last minute for my final night stay in Egypt as I was flying out from Sphinx Int.. I was travelling by coach up from Hurghada which got delayed meaning i wouldn’t arrive until 2am, I also had problems with my phone so could not contact to inform. Getting into Cairo when my signal sorted, I received a msg from the Night porter saying He was looking forward to expecting me and to contact if any problems.. Only issue was finding the entrance but Osama came out to meet me in seconds of msging.. He asked what time i would like breakfast and asked if i would like awake up call at said time. Excellent warm friendly service, I had to get a picture with Osama in the morning before he finished his shift just to remember his fantastic warm welcoming smile Will certainly advise anyone to stay here for a great budget boutique hotel experience

We just spent three nights in the pyramid view family suite, and an additional pyramid view room (with balcony) for our family of 7. The hotel was clean, comfortable, but most importantly, hospitable. The service and level of care shown to our family during our stay was phenomenal. I would specifically like to thank Taha at the reception desk for having boxed breakfasts ready for us this morning for our early check out. That was exceptionally kind of him to do for us without even asking for it! During our stay, we utilized the following services: Laundry, Hotel Restaurant (multiple times 😊), and even room service when we were exhausted from a long day of exploring! I am so grateful for the experience we had at Nozol with the wonderful staff. Highly recommended!

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo hotel 6 notti con mezza pensione io, mio marito e mia figlia di 9 anni. Già da subito l'hotel e Tamer, che ci ha accolto (l'unico che parla italiano e inglese), ci hanno fatto sentire a casa. Per quello che può offrire questa città l'hotel è abbastanza sopra la media. Buon cibo, pulizia e confort in generale all'interno dell'hotel. La zona è quello che è, molto povera e sporca, ma com'è d'altronde tutto il resto della città e di queste zone... Ma una volta dentro l'hotel è tutto ok per quanto riguarda pulizia e altri servizi. Wi fi gratuito. Saletta ristorante e una bellissima terrazza vista piramidi dove bere thè, fare colazione o cena. Il personale tutto cordialissimo e sempre disponibile. Organizzano anche gite ovunque sempre con guida e autista, anche se sono un po' più care rispetto a quelle trovate su TripAdvisor. Nel complesso il prezzo dell'hotel invece è stato molto buono considerando anche la mezza pensione. Se dovessi tornare al Cairo ci tornerei sicuramente. Grazie a tutti voi ☺️

The boss is very kind and his son is also very cute. He took the initiative to help me carry my luggage. This is a newly opened hotel. Please use your iPhone to navigate. When you arrive at the door, you must carefully read the sign on the door to find it, or contact the owner directly. The room was clean and tidy, with plenty of hot water. Don't be fooled by the rundown lobby and tiny elevators. The room was very clean, and we, a couple with two children, had a comfortable stay. All service staff are very welcoming. Similar to domestic serviced apartments, the price is affordable. There is a supermarket downstairs at the intersection and it is very convenient to get some food. You can see the pyramid from the rooftop. It gets a bit cold at night during the Chinese New Year, so be sure to bring a windbreaker or slightly thicker clothes. But it's very hot during the day. Hygiene: very clean Facilities: Room facilities are average but very clean. The lobby and elevators are so old that they look like scenes from a ghost movie. Environment: When you actually enter the hotel, the view from the rooftop is very good, but there will be a power outage. Service: Every waiter is warm and friendly.

This hotel does what it says. It’s opposite the entrance to the pyramids and the view is outstanding. I arranged a pick up from the hotel and it was so reassuring having someone there to greet me. My room wasn’t quite ready so I was sent to the rooftop bar for breakfast. This was outstanding. Probably enough food for five people. I found the staff to be very friendly and accommodating. The room is fine. I never had hot water but I probably didn’t really need it. Would recommend

The hotel brother is very polite, helping to arrange the itinerary is also a lever. We arrived at the hotel at 1 o'clock and discussed the itinerary with him. It was not determined until 3 o'clock. We traveled to this place with our infant with the only expectation of getting a pyramids view and considering the heat, flexibility to be very close to the pyramids at Giza. The location is one of the best in the vicinity, and gives a direct view of the Sphinx. We were welcomed by warm staff (Duniya) and greeted to the terrace wherein the pyramids and the sphinx were lit at night. It was a dusty evening, but the overall atmosphere was great. The incident that has set this stay apart from the others was a personal episode. The next day we chose to visit the major locations of Cairo side like the NMEC and Khan-al-Khalili, and some shopping. En route, my wife lost her phone and we were extremely stressed out in the evening, with all her contacts and memories on the phone. This is the instance when the hospitality of the hotel came into picture. Nearly everyone on the reception staff was aware of the situation, and they started going out of their way to help her. Be it calling the taxi at night and asking (more like instructing) to do whatever it takes to find the phone, to go at each and every place in Cairo and Giza we had been. Language is a constraint, and at each and every instant we wanted a person of trust to translate Arabic to English for us, and in addition, to provide guidance. Ashour at the reception constantly kept calling on my phone to ask updates. They even arranged for a late breakfast for us. To cut the story, we did FIND the phone and there was a happy story in the end. I have to place emphasis on the fact, that Cairo and Egypt functions on a different set of principles that involves a lot of over selling. If we can separate that emotion, and trust on such people who are really willing to help (they still might want to sell you a package ;)), sets the experience apart. They even treated our young kid with a friendship band. The restaurant food quality could be improved, but please remember, first and foremost its a tourist place with a very high footfall. I would like to visit Cairo again, and without a beat stay at this place. Thanks Duniya and Ashour for us to make our stay a very memorable one.

I was so surprised when they went out of their way to liaise with my dad to arrange a birthday cake for me—such a sweet gesture! The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always checking in to make sure we were happy. And if you want to stay close to the Giza Pyramids and enjoy a breathtaking view while having breakfast, this is the perfect spot! Very friendly and helpful staff, AC in the room working well, rooms were clean. Offers a great breakfast with a beautiful view! And at a walkable distance to the pyramids. Loved that they offer cold water at the reception! Only 2 minor points: On the second floor in our room the wifi wasn't working. Adress on google maps is not clear, name of the hotel is called: 'the great pyramids view' for one or another reason with no recognisable pictures of the hotel itself what can lead to confusion when you're trying to find your way back. Overall a great experience for a very good price, would recommend!

Quite frankly, it is one of the best hotels I have stayed in Cairo. The rooms are very clean and the staff is very hospitable and deals with the guests. I felt at home from the kind treatment that I dealt with from the staff, especially from the internal supervision staff. I especially thank Miss Fatma, as she is one of the most helpful employees. I really want to visit this hotel again for this respectful and high hospitality
