We have been sleeping here one night to meet the family in the Christmas market. The location is ideal for this. I had some concerns about the location so close to the Riebeckplatz, and I must also say that despite closed windows, there has been some traffic heard. No problem for urbans but for rural residents, if necessary. The air conditioning was already quite noisy. We had to make it up at night as it was warm in the room. Unfortunately we had to reconfigure it again at night because it wasn't running in the right mode. Otherwise we didn't miss anything. The room size was good. Even games were out on the room. The bar we used later evening and could make the day sound comfortable.

I arrived late in the hall. There is a tram that drives every 20 minutes from Hbf to the hotel, the hotel itself is something outside the city centre, but the location is OK - and the hotel even offers a free ÖPNV ticket. However, because of a technical defect, I could not be stayed at the hotel itself, so I could only assess my basic impression of the lobby when it comes to cleanliness and equipment. The service was absolutely excellent - very friendly and helpful. In my case, an alternative hotel was already booked, I was told how I came to and the appearance was very friendly and premature.

there is a little plaque on the wall informing between what dates the ac operates and when heating is available, apparently the weather dosent matter nor do your wishes. Single duvets only and one of the poorest breakfast ive had in a hotel anywhere, v limited options in tiny quantities so they were constantly running out. german hotels are why germany motorways are so good.

We were traveling from Warsaw to Rotterdam and needed a overnight stop . This location was perfect close to the motorway. We had not pre booked , but the receptionist was very helpful and spoke per English. The room was spotless and provided space and other little extas. We ate in the restaurant, and although the menu was limited , there was enough choice and was very tasty. The staff again were very polite and the young gentleman spoke English which was very helpful. Breakfast again was plentiful with a mass choice for everyone , including a gluten free area ( for those). We enjoyed every bit of it and would stay again , but be warned it was not cheap but worth it . Maksim Kocura 02/02/ 23

Service was very good, could already 11.00 clock in our room. All clean and comfortable. Direct at the train station and right in the city.

The hotel is a 5-minute walk from the train station; the variety of breakfast options is abundant. The front desk will speak English. It takes 10 minutes to walk to the two church squares in the city. There are restaurants to order food at 8-9 pm and the store closes at 8 pm.

I only stayed one night in the midst of the pandemic so I’m sure this hotel has a very different dynamic in regular times. The reception area is fantastic, a huge, high ceiling area meaning you can see right up to the top floor. Add some pedestrian traffic and guests and you’ve got a great place to have a coffee or meet people. In today’s environment, it just seemed sad and empty. The room was well equipped, nice big bed, good bathroom - though who uses a bidet in 2020? Service was good as you would expect from having so few guests. As with all hotels, they are keen to point out and highlight their environmental commitments. But then this hotel takes payment for electric car charging - presumably with the excuse they have no choice etc, managed by another company etc. It seems green issues are only an initiative if they save money. That aside, I would stay here again and I’m sure it’s a very different place in normal times.

The sauna costs €6.50 for the hot energy. It would be OK if it were with the booking and the infrared cabin would work. Eating breakfast is not special. Well, a bread had been taken right away from the previous day. The breakfast service is friendly, but runs unplanned through the area. You run empty on tables over which would be clean,make your tables clean or cover a rather than fill up food and drink. You stood in front of half-leaning buffet, even water bottles were not exchanged. The room was simplely furnished and the bed was comfortable. If you wanted to have a made bed and waste pack, you had to give a card at the reception. Only then was room service performance. The room was clean in itself,but covers and floor corners appear to know the puzzle woman not because there have been spine tissues. After my request to remove them,they had removed.

Hotel located in the center of the city; offers a restaurant and free WiFi in the entire hotel. A 10-minute walk takes you to the railway station and town hall. Ideal for a business stay. Car parking available and not expansive. Receptionist kind and helpful. In the room, availbale free drinks from the mini bar. TV is very big anyhow with no so many channel. In-room safe available. Comfortable and large bed. Desk/table is large and useful to work in the room. Also furnitures are good. Anyhow the cleaning of the room is not so good: a lot of points against: broken curtain, dirty dust on carpet, glasses in the bathroom were dirty (!) and night by night no cleaning of the room. No air conditioning in the room. Small and poorly equipped gym. And no water is available, only towels. Excellent and plentiful breakfast: personnel very kind. 5 stars for the personnel. Quality/price just sufficient in relationship to my experience

We were amazed by the size of the dining room which was expanded nightly via adjoining room partitions to accommodate the masses. Our room was large and comfy with a built-in luggage rack and plenty closet space. What is certainly weird, and maybe this is a German thing, but my husband loved the instant cappuccino packs provided in the room, but these were never refilled. In fact, our mugs were left dirty and we had to wash them ourselves. No milk or creamer are provided, so you've got to take a little jug from the restaurant. No coffee or tea supplies were refilled during our time. Others in our group had the same experience. The front office service was hit or miss and generally I found them more engrossed in their tasks like balancing their floats than to attend to customers'. A front office agent should be forward facing I feel at all times, as otherwise you're looking at the staff from the side and trying to get their attention. The buffet was quite good as we enjoyed breakfasts and lunches daily. I wish the fish was done in different styles but I liked the variety nightly for dinner and lots of vegetable options. The dessert could have been was more innovative than mousse, mousse and mousse in different flavours with icecream. Some bread pudding, proper cake, a trifle or creme caramel, meringue, etc. would have been welcomed, especially by the international guests. I mean even German desserts like Apple strudel, Lebkuchen, Plum cake or other regional sweet would have been nice. Location is halfway between the railway station and the center of town and the little red land train to the castle starts & stops just behind the hotel so this is very ideal. We enjoyed the bar in the evenings. The bartender Salvatore was a delightful character; friendly and efficient despite not speaking a word of English. We would definitely stay here on a future trip.

The hotel room is very large, the design must be beautiful, and the breakfast is also very delicious. It's a typical American breakfast. It's very good to have a menu to order according to your taste. The house has a sofa. It's very considerate to have a waiter come to the room to open the sofa and put it on. A very beautiful and quiet hotel near the main station. The city centre is great to reach and with the tram that also drives nearby, you can very well explore the city. The rooms were very clean and beautifully furnished. The staff, whether at the reception, in the restaurant or in the housekeeping, were very friendly. Breakfast buffet is very rich and the dinner in the restaurant has tasted us very well.

The IBIS Style Hotel is very conveniently located in Halle. Within walking distance of the train station, with direct access to the motorway and 10 minutes from the market square, it is very well suited to business meetings or exploring the city. The room was a normal size and the bathroom was spacious and clean. The breakfast buffet was impressive with fresh fruit, smoothies and a good selection of sausages and cheese! Conclusion: Very good, great value for money and €7 for an underground parking space.

Es fing damit an, dass meine Reservierung nicht gleich zu finden war - kann vorkommen. Das Hotel hat vier Sterne - von wem frage ich mich? Man siehr noch, dass es mal ein Ramada war, aber leider nur der erste Eindruck. Die Holztäfelung machte es unmöglich gemütlich im Bett etwas Fernzusehen, die Kissen waren matschig. Eine Kaffee/Tee Station im Zimmer fehlte genauso wie eine Minibar. Die Sauberkeit war leider auch nur äußerlich, in den Ecken und auf dem Fernseher war es leider nicht so schön, Stauballergiker hätten hier Probleme. Das Frühstück war vom Preis/Leistungsverhältnis negativ, ich habe den Tag verärgert beginnen müssen, ein Foto von der Fischplatte lege ich bei. Die Brötchen einfallslos, die Würstchen viel zu lange gebraten und total vertrocknet, die Säfte nicht frisch und die Aufschnittauswahl mäßig. Der Preis war nicht gerechtfertigt. Der Schlauch der Dusche zu kurz und die Armaturen sind leider billige. Es fehlte ein Waschlappen und es gab auch keine Bodylotion. Das einzige was wirklich viel rausgeholt hat, war das Personal an der Bar. Dieses kämpfte gegen eine unzureichend ausgestattete Bar (Das Management ist das inkompetenteste, was mir seit langem untergekommen ist). Die Beiden gaben sich super viel Mühe, waren schnell und freundlich, auch in stark frequentierten Momenten. Man sollte beide befördern, denn deren Vorgestzte, sollten vielleicht einmal mit denen tauschen. Fazit: Das Hotel spart an allen Ecken zu lasten von Qualität und Service. Man soll kommen, bezahlen und gehen, aber sich nicht wohlfühlen. Es sind wirklich nur Kleinigkeiten und ich wäre sehr zufrieden gewesen, aber bei dem Preis, oder besser Preisen - nein Danke. Auch die im Fahrstuhl propagierte ”Best Price” Werbung für die eigene Webseite, stellte sich zumindest für mich als falsch heraus - ich habe den günstigeren Kurs woanders gefunden. Von Gratis Extras steht auch etwas im Fahrstuhl - auch Fehlanzeige. Schade!

I was a weekend for the family in Magdeburg and I went to the Classic Hotel without any sleeping places. I arrived very late and hadn't eaten yet (23:00) and was very tired. I hadn't expected it anymore but I got a super delicious pizza and a cool beer from the hotel bar. The bed was super comfortable and I sleeped very well this night. This hotel is suitable for couples, singles and families. The atmosphere is very relaxed and you can relax in the foyer super. It is not overlooking and the staff is very nice.

Pleasant hotel, art-deco style, surrounded by a beautiful garden. Very friendly personnel. Good restaurant. Spacious room with needed facilities. Bathtub was a plus when travelling with a child. Bed was quite big but not very big as marked. Breakfast was good, quite diverse, but not exceptional- 21 euros is a lot to pay for it.

I arrived late and left early (this hotel is about 5 mins walk from the Railway Station) but was very satisfied with my stay here. The hotel is clearly pretty new and was unusually decorated with a cycling theme which made it a bit interesting - I am tempted to return to the area with my bike in the future now! The staff I dealt with on reception were pleasant and I would describe the room as very clean and comfortable. The one minor annoyance was that there is no glass in the bathroom or even any kind of cup in the room but by the time I had undressed and realised this I was too tired to get dressed to go downstairs and ask for one (as invited by the notice in the room) so made do with an empty drink bottle I happened to have with me. Slept well in the room though, would stay here again.

The hotel is very close to the small town center, there is free parking, but parking outside is also free, very convenient. Ho soggiornato col mio coniuge in questo grande hotel dal 10 al 12 agosto 2023. Si tratta di un grande edifcio chiamato ”Castello” in centro a Quedlinburg, dotato di numerose camere e di varie grandi sale per la colazione al primo piano, oltre ad un cortile interno. La camera era molto spaziosa con un grande bagno dotato di finestra propria e di doccia walk-in. Il silenzio e la tranquillità notturne garantite dal fatto che si tratta di un centro storico dove circolano pochissimi veicoli. Persino l'inquinamento luminoso era assente. La colazione, servita a buffet, era molto ricca, sia di cibi salati sia di cibi dolci. Si poteva anche ordinare il caffè espresso o il cappuccino direttamente al personale. Viaggiando in moto, è stato molto comodo poter parcheggiare la moto nel cortile interno senza sovrapprezzo. L'edificio è storico, come quasi tutto il centro della bella Quedlinburg, ma molte (se non tutte le camere) sono in un ampliamento moderno, in un'architettura non pregevole. Un altro aspetto deludente è stato che il ristorante interno all'albergo era chiuso per carenza di personale. Un problema riscontrato un po' in tutta la Germania quest'estate. La ricerca di un buon ristorante aperto e con disponibilità di posto a Quedlinburg non è stata sempre facile.

Location is just outside the center so easy access to the hotel. Parking is accross the road (Cars drive a bit fast there). There is a park next to the parking nice for a (doggy) walk. Hotel itself is nice and you can walk to the town. (Perhaps a bit of a walk for people with mobility issues). Room was basic but clean. Breakfast was quiet good with many options.

Excellent hotel ideally located on the central market square, of which we had great views from our spacious junior suite (it can be a bit noisy when they are setting things up outside early morning). Breakfasts are fabulous, with a particularly good selection of mueslis and cheeses, and a large slab of creamy butter tabled each morning. Coffee arrives instantly at your table, and service is speedy and efficient. We dined twice in the hotel's restaurant in the evening, and found it to be high quality, with interesting local produce (pott-suss was really tasty) and, slightly surprisingly, very good German red wine. Barman Andy was one of the best we've encountered - fast, lively and friendly, with a good menory for previous choices, and the ability to produce great cocktails, whether on the menu or not. Most of the staff spoke good English, which took the stress away from relying on my schoolboy German. Only criticism is that we'd have appreciated a bit of help getting our luggage to our room , as it was a long way from reception and involved corridor steps (though there is a lift fortunately). Wernigerode is a good base for the Harz region: we managed to ascend der Brocken (one of us actually walking!), rode the Brockenbahn and the Bimmelbahn, and took a trouble-free bus ride to Quedlinburg, a World Heritage site which is well worth a visit.
