"Staying at the Pullman Linyi Lusheng was a truly comfortable experience throughout my trip. The hotel's public areas are spacious and grand, meticulously clean, and the facilities are well-maintained. If I ever needed anything, the personal butler service was very prompt. The hotel's location is exceptional; in the evening, I could admire the beautiful night view of the Yi River right from my room. It's also within walking distance of Xin Langya, making it convenient for dining and sightseeing without any detours. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the area."

"I specifically booked this hotel inside the airport because I had an early flight the next morning, and it was such a delightful surprise! The room price was reasonable, and the front desk staff was incredibly warm and even upgraded my room. The hotel was very clean and tidy. Even though it's right next to the airport runway, there was hardly any noise, which was a big plus 👍. The bed was super comfortable, so I got a great night's sleep. A short walk takes you to the Rizhao Science and Technology Museum, which is very interesting and impressive.
The biggest drawback is the terrible food at the hotel. Breakfast is below average; if you want to make a sandwich, your only option is fried bacon, with no ham available. The dinner buffet was particularly bad. The roasted meat was tough from being heated for too long, and the oysters were completely dried out from steaming. The mini hot pot was also poor, with many of the shellfish being rotten. Eventually, the steam rising from the pot smelled so bad that we had to ask the waiter to remove it. The sashimi even included processed ingredients made from fish meat, fish roe, and crab roe (see picture 8). The only good things at the all-day dining restaurant were the various baked goods and Shandong pancakes.
The price of the dinner buffet is very cheap, but I hope the hotel cherishes its reputation. I'd be willing to pay a higher price for good quality ingredients; please don't tarnish the Marriott brand.
To be fair, this hotel's price, view, and surrounding amenities are all suitable, and I would choose it again next time, so I still gave it a good review. However, I will not dine at the hotel again, as the food is just too poor (except for the baked goods, which are truly delicious)."

The hotel's DIY fridge magnets and shrinky dinks were especially novel and great for kids to get creative. Right next door is a fantastic cafe with amazing decor, and hotel guests even get discount coupons. The front desk staff were all very warm and attentive. The nearby night market is really famous, making this a worthwhile place to stay and explore."

The room itself was quite spacious and very clean, and they even provided snacks and fruit. In the evening, there was complimentary congee, and they also had a self-service laundry machine. The breakfast the next day was good, with a decent selection of Linyi's local specialties. When we checked out, they even gave us more snacks as a parting gift. "The executive benefits here are an absolute joke! I bought a hotel package voucher, and specifically called ahead before booking to ask if I could pay extra to upgrade to an executive floor and get a late checkout until 4 PM. I only booked after getting confirmation. I even switched to this InterContinental for the last day of my trip, partly because I had such a great experience at another InterContinental in a provincial capital, so I trusted the brand. However, when I went to the front desk today to confirm my checkout time before heading out, I said I wanted to check out at 3 PM, and they told me no, the latest was 2 PM. They even pulled out a little card to show me the phrase ”subject to availability.” They didn't mention any big events or a sudden surge in tourism these past two days; otherwise, how tight could room availability be on a Monday/Tuesday right after summer vacation? The executive lounge was also incredibly disappointing. With service like this, the hotel still has the audacity to chase after 5-star reviews after checkout. They took every penny they were due, but I never saw a butler, and my requests were directly rejected, with implications that my requests were unreasonable. It's like I'm just a fool who paid extra for a room on a higher floor. P.S. The 2 stars for service are for housekeeping; otherwise, I wouldn't even give one."

Anonymous UserWhile visiting Qingdao, I decided to spend a day in Jinan and chose the Shangri-La. Before checking in, I called to confirm that my room was ready. The lobby is impressive, and the room was spacious, quiet, and well-equipped. The toiletries were excellent, and I particularly liked the eco-friendly bamboo toothbrushes and combs. The hotel is conveniently located opposite Quancheng Square, perfect for an evening stroll to watch the musical fountain. Baotu Spring is also within walking distance. There are plenty of malls nearby, and both takeout and dining options are easily accessible. The old city, however, is genuinely congested; it took almost 40 minutes to get to Jinan Station by taxi, and I barely made my train. The hotel also seems to offer intangible cultural heritage activities, but I didn't have time to participate. I would definitely choose this hotel again for a more leisurely trip to Jinan.

Guest UserI came for a concert at the Civic Center, so I booked this hotel near the North Station – super convenient! It's just a short walk from the subway exit (and there were still so many food stalls open even after 11 PM when the concert ended, it was amazing!).
It's quite quiet, the bedding is comfortable, and the environment is clean and hygienic. The air conditioning was wonderfully cool.
PS: Thanks to the front desk for even preparing little souvenirs! Both front desk ladies had excellent service attitudes.
Loved it, I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Qingdao.

Anonymous UserThe hotel has a great ambiance; the lobby is simple yet elegant, and as soon as you walk in, you feel very comfortable. The room decor is simple and cozy, and the cleanliness is exceptional – the floors and surfaces are spotless. The bedding feels high-quality, and it's very relaxing to lie on. The soundproofing is excellent; I barely heard any outside noise at night and slept soundly until morning.
There was plenty of hot water, and the toiletries were well-stocked. The facilities are well-maintained. Della🍓 provided thoughtful service, handled the check-in process quickly, and was very friendly, patiently answering all our questions. The location is also very convenient, with plenty of dining, entertainment, and shopping options nearby.
I'd also like to specially thank Della and the hotel for the thoughtful arrangements they made for my husband's birthday. The room decorations and cake were a wonderful surprise!

Guest UserBefore our arrival, Xiao Zhang from the hotel proactively called to ask about our needs. Our two room requests (adjoining rooms and a high floor) were both fulfilled. The room service was incredibly responsive, which deserves praise! There's an onsen for rainy evenings, and a beach and pool for sunny days. I heard they also have a pet park and a cat cafe (didn't get a chance to visit), so as a family-friendly hotel, the facilities are quite comprehensive.
I was quite worried after seeing many negative reviews before our trip. While it's true that there are signs of age and some humidity issues, overall, it exceeded my expectations.
I have two suggestions:
1. The welcome fruit could be improved. The current quality is quite average. Perhaps replace it with local specialties like Qing Shi calcium milk biscuits or shell-shaped pastries, which would offer more consistent quality.
2. There were few bed rails, and they didn't seem very sturdy. An upgrade would be appreciated.

First, let's talk about the accommodation. I booked a Deluxe Twin Room at the Westin, and the room was bright and spacious. The bathroom facilities were complete, quiet, and odor-free. The air conditioning was adjustable and not too noisy – these were all significant improvements compared to my stay at the Westin in Shanghai a few days prior.
Next, the service. The customer service lady proactively asked about my needs, and all my requests – for a quiet room, far from the elevator, and a large room – were met, not just formally. The cleaning auntie was also very enthusiastic and available whenever called.
Then, the hotel's location is just perfect! It's within walking distance of key attractions, and for further places, the subway entrance is right outside. It's also very close to Joy City, making shopping and dining incredibly convenient, with excellent service to boot… Most importantly, Qingdao now offers free subway rides for seniors over 60, which is a thoughtful and touching gesture!
I am very pleased with my hotel choice, proud to recommend this trip, and absolutely full of praise for Qingdao! 👍🌷

Guest UserThe hotel decor is quite new; there was a slight smell on the first day, but it was acceptable. We booked a standard room, but the front desk upgraded us to a deluxe twin room. The breakfast selection was quite extensive, and my child loved it. Additionally, the hotel has a laundry room and a gym. There are many residential areas around the hotel with plenty of food options; the Shuangheyuan restaurant nearby was particularly good. The only downside is that it's not a sea view room. If this room were beachfront, it would easily cost 1500+ yuan during peak season. The staff inside were also very good, especially the auntie in the laundry room, who was very diligent.

Guest UserI thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Mövenpick Hotel, as the decor, service, and dining all offered exceptional value for money.
Upon arrival, the welcoming receptionist kindly upgraded me to a generous room. To my pleasant surprise, the hotel also provided complimentary welcome amenities, including beer, soft drinks, and fresh fruit.

The room itself was spacious, spotlessly clean, and equipped with convenient smart-room controls. Additionally, the personalized housekeeping service managed via WeChat was both attentive and highly efficient. The daily buffet breakfast and evening light bites were equally impressive and delicious.
However, I did encounter a couple of drawbacks:
Location: As a non-driver, the hotel's location proved somewhat inconvenient, requiring me to rely entirely on taxis to get around.
Smoking Policy: I was concerned to see guests smoking in common areas, particularly while waiting for the elevators. This inevitably forced fellow guests and staff to inhale secondhand smoke. Furthermore, placing large ashtray stands beside the elevator banks on every floor implicitly encourages this behavior.
I strongly encourage the management to consider implementing a smoke-free policy in all indoor public spaces for the health and well-being of both guests and staff.

Guest UserThe hotel is nowhere near as luxurious as the pictures suggest. It looks quite old in person, even for a relatively new hotel. It has a very dated feel. All of the deluxe king rooms are located near the runway, and the sound of planes taking off is incredibly loud. There's no way you'd get any sleep at night. I eventually asked the front desk to change my room to a twin room on the terminal side, which was much quieter. The layout and size of the twin room were quite suitable. Although the hotel has a dedicated tunnel connecting directly to the airport, it's a very long walk, about 10-15 minutes. Personally, I don't think the deluxe king room is worth over 400 yuan at all. The room felt cramped and old, and the bedding had a smell, possibly of disinfectant.

ChenmoguayanhongdusheThis hotel is located in Huangdao District, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, making it perfect for guests who prefer a quieter environment without large crowds. The indoor pool is spacious and well-lit, with depths ranging from 0.8 to 1.3 meters, which is great for families and those learning to swim. The beach is a mere 3-minute walk away. It's a public beach, not a private one, so swimming isn't recommended. However, it's fantastic for clam digging, playing in the sand, and wading in the water in the mornings and evenings. It offers a more private beach experience compared to the crowded public swimming beaches, making it an ideal compromise. There are also water sports facilities operated by third parties on the beach, offering additional options.
The hotel features a resident band performance in the evenings, which can be enjoyed directly from the outdoor terrace dining area. I recommend booking a room with a terrace so you can dine and drink while listening to the music. Alternatively, a sea-view room with a balcony also offers a good view. The hotel also has an outdoor mini zoo with cute animals like miniature horses, which is a fun attraction for both adults and children.
The breakfast is decent, meeting the standard for a five-star hotel. This room type offers excellent value for money, so remember to book in advance during peak season.
By the way, a little heads-up: Qingdao is under a fishing ban throughout July and August, so there's no such thing as ”freshly caught seafood” during this time. Most seafood is frozen or imported from other regions. Friends, be wary of false advertising from some seafood stalls.
