Their butler service is also exceptional, made us having a smooth trip, even the bad weather condition cause the park closed, they still provide many activities for us to keep our kids happy all the time. The best thing about it is the location- right outside the Changchun railway station. I arrived from Jilin City via high speed train. Took the south exit and the hotel is right there across street from the south exit. The breakfast is included and offers a great variety of choices, both Chinese and Western styles. We had a wonderful stay at the Yatai Hotel, the staff were amazing; extremely friendly, helpful and the service throughout our stay was of a high professional standard. We were close to great restaurants and tourist sights, we could walk to almost everywhere, and centrally located only a short 5-10min taxi ride to the Changchun Railway Station. The rooms were very clean, modern and convenient. This was my second stay at Yatai Hotel. And it won’t be my last!

We noticed that many of the guests were international professors and students from Northeast Normal University nearby. There are couple of things that I love about this hotel and some things that they can be improve. 1. Hotel is nice, bed is comfy as expected 2 . Very near to the mall, where there are tons of delicious food/ restaurants there 3. There is subway just beside the hotel which is very convenient if you choose to take subway 4. Breakfast is varies from Chinese to western which is great. I usually have omelette, toasted bread, coffee and juices. We had issue with the air purifier, and asked for someone to fix it then seems it couldn’t be fixed, then they keep coming back coz after 5 mins of use it’s broken again. We asked to change to another one, at first they keep saying that no way that it’s broken, but it is broken. Finally they changed, but they wasted our time, we wanted to sleep early instead having them in the room with us. This kind service should be improved. They should just take it away and fixed it somewhere else and not to disturb guests.

Location: It is almost right next to the right side of Jangchun Station Namgwangjang Cleanliness: Not bad Service: The staff are friendly Facilities: The room condition is also satisfactory. However, there is only one elevator, so if you overlap with people eating breakfast in the morning, the elevator waiting time is quite long if you stay on the 14th floor.

This was our second stay in three days - both times because of the nearness to Changchun Railway Station - and again we enjoyed the excellent service (even if your phone runs out of battery, there’s a two day weather forecast on your desk together with water and snacks, s. photo), classic Chinese hard mattresses and pillows (good for our backs) and the history exhibits that remind guests of the fact this hotel was first opened in 1909 in this very building. This time, we did have time for their extensive breakfast buffet and it is indeed extensive: salad, various types of eggs, oats, fruit, cakes, Chinese dumplings, Chinese porridge (the local “hei mi” black rice is lovely), fried noodles, rice, steamed veggies and buns, toast, jam, various Chinese hot dishes, freshly made noodles, ….you get the idea. The only regret we had: they have a coffee machine - for instant coffee…. Lots of lovely teas, but only instant coffee, alas. You can’t beat their price, either: RMB 304 for a twin bedroom including two breakfasts and two vouchers for afternoon tea.

The front desk upgraded the room type when checking in. The room is particularly spacious and bright. It was cleaned in time during the stay, and there was sufficient drinking water. The location is very good, just over ten minutes walk to the internet celebrity wall. The West Market is just outside the door, but when we went there, the West Market was closed for the Mid-Autumn Festival, so we didn't get to visit it. It's five minutes walk to the floating market.
