"Upon arriving at the hotel lobby, a greeter immediately opened the door and helped with our luggage. There were many people sitting on the sofas waiting to check in. The front desk staff, seeing that I had a baby with me, thoughtfully upgraded our room, allowing for an instant check-in without any wait.
The room was clean, fresh, and odorless. I called the front desk several times during my stay to ask for items, and they were always delivered quickly.
The breakfast was abundant and fresh. If you arrive early, you can get a table by the floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking a koi pond, allowing you to enjoy the beautiful scenery while dining.
There were several complimentary services, such as a Qipao/Hanfu photoshoot experience. With the room card, you could enter and exit Panmen (Pan Gate) an unlimited number of times. Inside, there are koi and swans that you can feed, which the children enjoyed.
Overall, it was a great experience, and I will definitely be returning."

"I brought my elderly parents to Tong, and I want to express my gratitude to the elegant Manager Yang at the front desk and Mr. Zhou, who handled our check-in. Not only did they upgrade our room to a river-view room, but seeing that both my parents are over 90, they also offered complimentary breakfast valued at 69 RMB per person. Thank you very much! Our room faced the Yangtze River, the world's largest river by water volume – our Mother River. Every day, we could see countless boats vying for passage. Even in this era of advanced planes and high-speed trains, I was surprised to see how busy river transportation still is! The room was clean, and the bedding was comfortable. After mopping, the staff always reminded my parents to wait until the floor was dry before moving around! Next to the window, there was a tatami area where we could sit facing each other, sipping tea and discussing historical figures. It could also serve as a bed, allowing us to lie down and watch the majestic Yangtze flow eastward and the sun and moon eternally cycle. Or, we could enjoy the visual feast of ships with children… The hotel has separate laundry rooms for washing and drying, a scenic gym, and the breakfast restaurant is on the top floor, the 49th, offering a fantastic view! "Highly recommend this hotel! The location is its biggest selling point – it's superb, with plenty of shops, supermarkets, and restaurants nearby. Taxis and public transport are all easily accessible, so getting around is absolutely no problem. The hotel maintains high cleanliness standards; rooms are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected after every guest, and the bathroom is dry and spotless. Even the corners of tables and windowsills are wiped clean, making for a truly reassuring and comfortable stay. The room's facilities are excellent: the mattress is just right (not too soft, not too hard), the Wi-Fi is fast, and all appliances and toiletries are in perfect working order, providing a great user experience. "This was my first time visiting Yangzhou, coming from the north, and I stayed at the Shangri-La Hotel on my first day. Emma, our housekeeper, called me a day in advance to confirm my check-in details. On the day of check-in, the room was perfectly prepared, with the baby crib, bed rails, and toiletries all set up. The air conditioning was also turned on beforehand, which was incredibly thoughtful. There's also a small garden behind the hotel, perfect for a refreshing morning stroll."

他家位置還蠻好的，到西津渡和吃飯的地方都方便，都不要動車門口就有共享小黃車。前台小姑娘還推薦我到酒店後面的古運河去散步，去了後走了一圈旁邊是河抬頭是城市街景生活走到頭居然是個口袋公園在這居住的人一定很安逸的。"

DoudougoudoudouThis hotel is just two subway stops from Nanjing South Station, which is great, especially on a hot day, as you don't have to walk far to catch a ride-sharing service.
It's been almost ten years since I last stayed at a Courtyard, and I feel like the facilities aren't as good as I remember. Perhaps back then, I hadn't stayed in as many good hotels. With company travel budgets tighter now, I can't stay at Marriotts, so I opted for Courtyard this time. Honestly, I don't think it's as good as some of IHG's economy brands like Voco or Holiday Inn Express.
I didn't eat much breakfast, but it looked decent.

Great location,easy to get around
it’s walking distance to the best food street ,all well known Nanjing cuisine can be found here
Walking distance to wudingmen metro station to and from Nanjing station ,just few steps away we can position ourselves for didi /taxi
The hotel is located in the area maintaining Traditional Chinese architecture , decoration and greenery ,great for photography
we got the room with a beautiful backyard full of plants and blossoms of flowers and a tray of welcome tea after checked in, the bed and pillows are comfortable ,showers is nice and warm
Light Chinese breakfast served is good enough to start a day and not too much for the delicious Nanjing lunch later on:-)
The girls at front desk are very friendly and sweet they were always ready to help
The owners I guess who were on night shift were polite and respectful
Overall we had a great time here thank you

VChuhuI chose the Indigo Hotel for a relaxing weekend by Jinji Lake, and it was absolutely the right decision. Scott, from Guest Relations, proactively contacted me even before check-in and was available on WeChat throughout my stay, handling all my requests with just a message. The hotel is conveniently located right by the subway exit – just a turn after exiting Exit 2 of the Contemporary Art Museum station. The Suzhou-style cyberpunk design is incredibly cool, with arches, ornate windows, and neon lights, making every photo a masterpiece.
I booked a lake-view king room, which included breakfast. The room was 49 square meters and fully equipped with a coffee machine, refrigerator, complimentary first round of beverages, a Dyson hairdryer, and an automatic smart toilet. There was only one trash can, which felt a bit sparse. The room also had two bathrobes, though I honestly wonder if anyone actually enjoys wearing hotel bathrobes. The Dyson hairdryer and fully automatic smart toilet were definite highlights.
For breakfast, the restaurant was quite busy on the weekend. Staff guided guests to their tables and asked if they'd like coffee or black tea. The breakfast featured a special noodle station with delicious wontons and noodles. The pastry section offered a wide variety of breads, all very soft and fluffy. My appetite is a bit small, and I was full after just a bowl of wontons and one pastry. The specialty Suzhou-style pastries, in my opinion, were just okay; I think the pastry shops in the city center would offer better options.

RentaichangThis hotel was a hidden gem for my short trip – such a pleasant surprise! It's incredibly conveniently located near tourist attractions. The hotel itself is elegant, quiet, and peaceful. The rooms are cozy, comfortable, and impeccably clean. The bed was very comfortable, and the toiletries and storage facilities were all complete. The staff, Mango, Orange, and Apple, were warm, friendly, and efficient in processing my check-in. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I've already recommended it to my friends!

Guest UserI visited Suzhou in August and chose this hotel, which is set to open in 2026. It truly exceeded my expectations with surprises at every turn. The hotel's facilities are brand new and very modern, with a strong sense of design – it feels like a lakeside art museum, perfect for snapping photos anywhere. The location is superb, right by Moonlight Dock and adjacent to Jinji Lake, making dining and shopping incredibly convenient. A leisurely stroll by the lake at night to admire the cityscape was also absolutely stunning.
The breakfast was the highlight. The semi-buffet and à la carte style offered a rich selection without waste, with dishes made to order and incredibly delicious. The freshly baked bread was aromatic, and the black truffle Eggs Benedict and Mexican wraps left a lasting impression. Plus, you could enjoy it leisurely until 1 PM, making it a perfect brunch experience that really enhanced the holiday vibe. Aside from the restaurant staff being a bit stiff (perhaps due to their youth and lack of experience), everything else was impeccable.
Finally, I have to give a special shout-out to the front desk lady. She was warm, attentive, and incredibly accommodating. From discussing my itinerary before check-in to arranging various details during my stay, she handled everything with professionalism and kindness. At check-out, she even thoughtfully provided homemade pastries and water, making me feel truly well taken care of.
Overall, this hidden gem by Jinji Lake offered an experience beyond my expectations, and I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip to Suzhou.

RosielovestotravelJust had the most incredible stay at Nanjing Yunshuijian Parent-child Resort Hotel! As a foreigner, I was blown away by the laid back atmosphere and abundance of amenities and activities available. From water sports like boating and jetskiing to numerous campsites and restaurants, this place has it all!
My personal favorite spot was the Shark Bar restaurant - the owners and staff are phenomenal! The vibe and atmosphere are unbeatable. Highly recommend checking it out if you get the chance.
