Kaopujun。Zhangjiajie East Gate Boutique B&B | 50 Meters from Scenic Area Entrance, Unparalleled Service, You Won't Want to Leave!
For this trip to Zhangjiajie, we spent the first two nights enjoying a slow pace on the west side, then moved to the Guanzhi S B&B near the East Gate for the next two nights.
This B&B positions itself as a boutique hotel, not just a regular guesthouse. From the moment you step in, you know it's something special – an artist's entrance, with an artistic atmosphere permeating every corner. The details are meticulously crafted. Many guests here are international tourists and discerning travelers who appreciate quality. It's no exaggeration to say this is the most thoughtful and attentive service I've ever experienced.
📍Location: 50 meters from the East Gate, 7-seater shuttle service provided
The B&B is about 50 meters from the East Gate of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, making park access incredibly convenient. However, because it's so close to the scenic area, it's located in a restricted zone. ⚠️ You MUST use Didi (ride-hailing app) to get directly to the B&B's doorstep. Plus, the hotel offers a 7-seater shuttle service, so transportation is a breeze for families. It's also easy to find restaurants after leaving the park, as the area around the East Gate is full of eateries.
🛏️Bathtub King Room: Refined Down to the Details
We stayed in a bathtub king room. The room isn't huge but is exquisite in every detail. The bedding is comfortable, and a relaxing soak in the tub at night washes away all the day's fatigue. If you need anything, just scan the QR code by the bed, and it'll be delivered in minutes – a godsend for busy parents!
👶Parents with Kids Rejoice! All These are Free!
Forgot kids' toothbrushes, slippers, or shower gel? The B&B has it all; just ask the front desk, and they'll bring it to your room. There's also a 5 sqm kids' play area with a slide, building blocks, and a small rocking horse. Once the kids are in there, they won't want to leave.
☕️Good Morning · Good Afternoon · Good Evening, Service is Superb!
This is where the true boutique hotel service shines through:
🌅Good Morning · Huanchi – Exquisite breakfast, with both Chinese and Western options.
🍰Good Afternoon · Afternoon Tea – Come back from exploring, enjoy tea and desserts, and instantly feel re-energized.
🌙Good Evening · Evening Porridge + Cocktails – Warm porridge for the stomach, a little nightcap, and finally some alone time for the adults after the kids are asleep.
📸Free Travel Photography + Ethnic Costume Experience!
The most delightful surprise – free ethnic costume experience + travel photography! All original photos are provided, with professional touch-ups included! They even gave us a souvenir gift upon check-out. So thoughtful!
✅Countless Value-Added Services:
Shuttle service | Free kids' amenities | Free travel photography | Afternoon tea | Evening porridge + cocktails | Souvenir gift… This is, without a doubt, the most attentive B&B I've ever stayed in.
Ps: Remember to use Didi to get to the B&B's entrance~ 🚗

Guest UserThe hotel boasts a great location, convenient parking, and clean, tidy rooms with beautiful night views! The breakfast selection was plentiful, and the rice noodles were delicious 🤤 The receptionists were warm and attentive, always ready to answer any questions 👍👍👍 The hotel is right next to the subway station (Yingwan Town Station), making it very convenient for getting around and sightseeing. It's only one stop away from Orange Isle and also very close to Yuelu Mountain Park. This time, I stopped by on my way back, so the itinerary was a bit rushed. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time. 😊😊😊 The two night views are actually from my room window. I didn't take pictures of all the breakfast options, just my own 🤭🤭🤭

Nanduan. The hotel staff were incredibly welcoming and thoughtful. They contacted me in advance, knowing I was traveling with an elderly person, and arranged a suitable room, which was a very nice touch. The room environment was good, with smart-controlled curtains, a separate wet/dry bathroom, a large bathtub, and a refrigerator – the facilities were quite complete. Any issues I raised were also promptly resolved. I would definitely choose this hotel again if I have the chance.

My husband and I came to Changsha for a vacation. The first two days we stayed near Wuyi Square, which was incredibly noisy. The following two days at Xiangjiang Hotel were a completely different and wonderful experience, let me tell you all about it.
First, the room layout. At a spacious 40 square meters, it was incredibly comfortable. There was lush greenery outside the window, and the room even had a bathtub. The little details were what really charmed me. The slippers had a delicate floral pattern, very elegant. The fridge had snacks and drinks, and the bathroom provided disposable toilet seat covers, mouthwash, and makeup remover wipes – so thoughtful!
I didn't have high expectations for breakfast at first, but it ended up being a pleasant surprise. They offer four set meals, along with a self-service selection of fruits. There was even stinky tofu and perilla peach, local specialties that allowed us to try new flavors without feeling overwhelmed. We tried the beef brisket noodles, steak, and chicken burger, all of which were delicious. Oh, and the small dishes were very refined, which reminded me of what I learned at the Hunan Provincial Museum: ancient Changsha people had a custom of sharing food, and the breakfast experience here felt similar.
The main reason for this excellent experience was the staff. Even before check-in, our butler Duoduo contacted us in advance to help reserve afternoon tea. Every front desk staff member, both ladies and gentlemen, was polite and friendly. They helped us with food deliveries and confirming Didi (ride-hailing) locations. There was one particular lady whose name I don't know; when we went out to watch a movie at night, she reminded us that it had just rained and gave us black umbrellas, which indeed saved us from getting wet when we returned late. Oh, and I must also praise the young man at the breakfast buffet. Although he looked very young, he was incredibly reliable. He remembered all the breakfast preferences I mentioned to him, and in the morning, he even asked how our stay was, which gave us a very warm feeling.
We also booked a travel photoshoot, and the photographer, Shuye, was excellent. I usually feel a bit awkward when taking photos, but he guided me to pose and smile naturally, resulting in beautiful pictures!
Overall, our stay at Xiangjiang Hotel provided a wonderful conclusion to our Changsha trip. I was initially worried about potential inconvenience with transportation, but there was none at all. Dining was also very convenient, with many Hunan cuisine options, so everyone can rest assured.

Guest UserThe room was exceptionally clean, with soft and dry bedding. The bathroom came equipped with disposable towels and toiletries, and the smart toilet was very convenient to use. The guesthouse itself was quiet and peaceful, with excellent natural light and ventilation. It was fully furnished with all the necessary appliances, making daily life very easy. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, providing clear check-in instructions and prompt replies to any questions. The location is excellent, close to dining and shopping, with complete amenities nearby. The value for money far exceeded my expectations; it felt as comfortable as home. This will be my first choice for accommodation whenever I'm in the area again. I sincerely recommend it to anyone traveling.

The hotel fully lived up to our expectations! The view from the room was absolutely breathtaking. The smart room controls were very convenient and easy to use.
The hotel grounds are lovely, with scenic walking paths and swings that create a very relaxing atmosphere. Breakfast was not extremely varied, but everything was delicious — be sure to try the shaomai! In the evenings, you can order local Chinese dishes prepared by the chef. The food is excellent, although many dishes are designed for sharing and the portions are quite large. There are also snacks available at the reception desk.
The weather in the park can change quickly, but the hotel sells both raincoats and shoe covers for rainy days (surprisingly useful!).
The hotel also provides a shuttle to the park entrance, which is only a short distance away.
I would also like to give special thanks to the hotel staff for the airport transfers and for their invaluable assistance throughout our stay. They helped us plan our sightseeing itinerary, purchase tickets, and were incredibly responsive to any questions we had — whether about the room or even our travel plans during the day.
Their support made our trip much easier and more enjoyable. Thank you so much ❤️
When planning the trip, I recommend allowing at least two full days for the park itself, plus another one or two days for Tianmen Mountain and the Glass Bridge. Keep in mind that these attractions are about an hour’s drive from the main park and the hotel.
I would also highly recommend visiting the 72 Wonder Tower in Zhangjiajie City in the evening. The atmosphere there is incredible, with live performances, actors in costume, and beautiful light installations that make the whole place feel magical.

DamoshaxueThe hotel is quite close to the east gate of the scenic area. They offer a great shuttle service. The hotel itself is relatively new, with spacious rooms and a good breakfast. It even has a washing machine and dryer, which is a nice touch. About half of the guests staying here are foreigners. It's also conveniently located near restaurants and charging stations. We enjoyed our first night so much that we extended our stay for another day because it was just so comfortable.
