"The hotel is about a 20-minute drive from Fuzhou Station, which is very convenient. Getting to tourist attractions by taxi is also easy, and there's a subway station not far from the hotel. The biggest surprise this time was the daily flag-raising and lowering ceremony in the plaza next to the hotel. It was a wonderful patriotic educational experience to share with the kids. The hotel is a bit older, but the staff are very enthusiastic. Annie contacted me in advance via WeChat and arranged rooms on the same floor. Neil helped note down a late check-out request, and Wade informed us about the complimentary evening soup. I had a very satisfying stay."

"The most unbearable thing about this hotel for me was the temperature. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, it felt stuffy and hot. When we checked in at the front desk, I even asked the staff about the hotel's temperature setting, and she said it was set at a constant 26 degrees Celsius. Sure enough, when we got to the room, the thermostat displayed 26 degrees. Even after lowering the temperature, there was no change at all. It was unbearable trying to sleep at night, so I called down. They sent an engineer who fiddled with the thermostat, bringing the display down to around 23 degrees, but honestly, it didn't feel much cooler; it still felt hot. Especially with the thick duvet, I couldn't get any sleep, so I had to call again and ask for a fan. The next day, I visited a client in the office building right next to the hotel. The moment I entered the office lobby, it immediately felt cool and comfortable. Just a single door separated us, and the difference in temperature settings between the hotel and the office building was noticeable. My client's office also felt comfortably cool. So, with it being summer now, having the hotel set at a constant 26 degrees is really unacceptable. If I hadn't had something important to do the next day and needed to check out properly, I honestly would have checked out and left right then and there."

"The InterContinental hotel right on my doorstep truly lives up to its reputation! Everything from the service to the rooms and breakfast was a perfect 10/10 experience. Special shout-out to Wilson, the handsome front desk staff, who helped upgrade our room and even included breakfast. He really made us feel the warmth of a home away from home at the InterContinental. The room was superb, clean, and well-maintained with all the amenities you could need, especially the thoughtful placement of power outlets and other small details. Breakfast was incredibly rich and varied, with a great selection of both Western and Chinese dishes. Both adults and children thoroughly enjoyed it. I've already recommended it to my friends and neighbors. It's definitely the top choice for a hotel stay when visiting Fuzhou!"

"This is a really nice hotel, located right on a food street with tons of dining options and a lively atmosphere. They have a few parking spots, but you need to inform the front desk when you're heading out. A nice perk is that guests get free tickets to the adjacent swimming pool – just remember to bring your swimming cap! The lounge area on the first floor is a thoughtful touch, offering complimentary coffee, tea, and ice. The rooms are quite spacious, featuring a huge TV and comfortable bedding, ensuring a good night's sleep. The bathroom has a separate wet and dry area, though the water pressure for showering was a bit low, possibly due to peak usage. Breakfast was decent, but they didn't offer any made-to-order items. It seems the hotel has a partnership with an electric scooter rental shop, but I didn't quite figure out the details or inquire further. The hotel's proximity to various attractions is great; you can easily walk, bike, or take a taxi. Definitely recommended!"

"The location is absolutely brilliant, right by the main road of the scenic area, yet as soon as you step through the door, you're in a secluded private courtyard. The wooden carved doors and windows, along with the vintage furnishings and ornaments, are incredibly detailed. The public lounge area is elegantly arranged, and the owner is incredibly warm and welcoming. My entire stay was wonderfully smooth."

"This hotel is truly commendable and deserves a lot of praise. As a new hotel, the rooms were practically odorless. The breakfast was plentiful with fresh ingredients. The front desk lady was sweet and gentle, and the staff's service was attentive and thorough. They actively resolved any issues and tried their best to meet guests' needs. Special shout-out to Xiao Mi and Xiao Lin! Although the decor has a nightclub vibe, it's also high-end and chic. My only minor critique is that the lobby's air freshener scent was a bit too strong and gaudy; a more fresh and elegant fragrance would better reflect the hotel's taste and class."

The overall experience exceeded expectations, the room was cleaned spotlessly, the bedding was soft and clean, the bathroom was separated from wet and dry, and the toiletries were complete. The landlord is warm and caring, sends location in advance, helps with luggage, and also recommends local authentic snacks and play routes. The location is quiet, walking to West Street, Kaiyuan Temple is very convenient, the environment is quiet and not noisy, the facilities are complete and comfortable, the price is super high, next time you come to Quanzhou, you will choose this one, highly recommended!"

"The Swiss Grand Xiamen is conveniently located near Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street, the Tiger City and China City shopping centers, and Zhenhai Road Metro Station, making it super easy to get around. Dining is also a breeze here. The hotel has a coffee shop on the first floor, a buffet restaurant on the second, and a Chinese restaurant and dim sum on the third, plus room service. And the food is delicious! They also have a pool and spa, among other amenities. The hotel is kept very clean, and the staff are friendly and helpful."

While it was lively and bustling outside, the courtyard was serene and quiet. It's an authentic Minnan ancient house courtyard style, with an elegant and clean environment. The greenery was meticulously maintained, making for a beautiful and healing landscape. What touched me the most was the hotel's thoughtful consideration for guests with mobility challenges. The accessibility features were very well-implemented. The courtyard pathways were flat and smooth, with no steep inclines, making it effortless to push a wheelchair in and out. The corridors were wide and open, allowing for easy and stable passage. When the front desk staff saw us with our elderly parents in a wheelchair, they immediately came over to offer assistance. They were enthusiastic and meticulous throughout, with a warm and polite attitude. During check-in, they prioritized a low-floor room on the first floor for us, avoiding stairs and complex routes, which greatly facilitated the seniors' movement. The room was spacious and airy, spotlessly clean, with soft and clean bedding. The mattress was neither too soft nor too firm, making it exceptionally comfortable for my parents to rest. My family all said they slept very well. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, and the floor was anti-slip, with every detail considering the safety of the elderly. The hotel's service was so meticulous it was heartwarming. Knowing my parents had difficulty walking, the staff proactively slowed down their speech, patiently asked about their physical condition, and repeatedly reminded them to be careful on the stone paths in the courtyard. Throughout our stay, any request we had was met with immediate and quick responses. They were very enthusiastic about helping deliver items and assisting my parents. When we returned from outings, they would always proactively offer warm tea, asking if my parents were tired from their journey. Their sincerity and genuineness were truly commendable. After a tiring day of sightseeing, the hotel's natural hot spring, with its comfortable and gentle water temperature, was a great relief. Soaking our feet after returning helped us relax significantly. The breakfast selection was rich yet light, catering to my parents' dietary preferences. The ingredients were fresh and healthy. When the staff heard we had high blood sugar, they specially prepared low-sugar meals for us. From the service details, their warmth was evident in every aspect. I initially thought traveling with elderly parents in a wheelchair would be problematic, but thanks to the comprehensive facilities and warm service at Xiyue Hotel, our entire experience was beautiful, clean, with human-centered facilities and warm, attentive service. Every aspect was impeccable, and it offered excellent value for money."
