This hotel was easy to find, I was afraid of not being able to find it due to reading so many other reviews about other hotels being difficult to spot. However, I had no issue. It’s located at the 21st floor of a building with offices and other hotels. That being said, sometimes there is a bit of a wait for the elevator (I think there were 3 or 4) but it’s not terrible. Around 5-10min wait. There are also restaurants and convenience stores right in front of the hotel that close very late (maybe past midnight). It’s very close to the metro station (1-2min walk) and at the heart of many attractions. I mainly chose this hotel due to its convenient location to all of the main attractions in Chongqing without being too crowded and at a good price point with city view. I even got an upgrade to my room which was a bonus. The staff was very friendly, helpful and attentive. I had no issue at all and they were always open and willing to help. I like how welcomed I felt. The room was quite big and clean with a smart bidet toilet (rare gem). Overall, I highly recommend! While it is not located near all the crowd and the shops; it’s a nice getaway from all the bustle.

This hotel is located right in the city.Popular tourist attractions are all within walking distance.Checkin is at level 46 and the view from the room is beautiful with in room video big screen.So convenient to walk to Sibati: jiafangbei and Hongya Caves.When you are coming here ;look for Xinhua International building and there are a few hotels inside this building.

The experience with the hotel staff are beyond expectations! They were very accommodating and nice. The rooms were very comfortable, clean and nicely prepared. One of the rooms have a beautiful view of the Tianmen mountains which we love! They have a nice welcome gift for guests that included fruits, snacks and some nice beauty masks and other shower essentials. Laundry was free and they even went above and beyond by getting our clothes hanged in our room to dry. Staff helped us in arranging our tickets to Ziangjiajie and Tianmen mountains last minute when we arrived. I love they gave a small personal note on our arrival. I highly recommend this hotel as they have surpassed our expectations to 5star levels. There’s a nearby construction and nose level can be annoying but leave your windows closed and will barely hear it.

Amazing stay at ascott Chongqing! The Location is amazing, sort friendly and professional staff! I cannot express enough gratitude for the incredible service provided by Orange. From the moment we arrived, he went above and beyond to ensure our family stay was perfect, especially in helping me organize dinner venues and party places for my family. Amazing views from the room, this girl is located right above a shopping mall! We will be back! Amazing Chongqing❤️!

Amazing stay! 🌟 The hotel offers breathtaking views of the Chongqing skyline – truly unforgettable both day and night. The bed was absolutely huge and incredibly comfortable, making it hard to leave in the morning. Every detail feels luxurious, from the stylish design to the top-notch facilities (yes, even a Dyson hair dryer 😉). The highlight for me was the big bathtub right in the room, where you can just soak, relax, and enjoy the stunning city view. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay!

How do I start, everything is from the highest level here, the rooms, location and service. They all speak English very well and the food is superb. Breakfast here is a feast, soo much choice that you don't even know what to choose. And the complimentary high tea is an oasis in this busy city with a lovely selection of tea and cakes. I would definitely return again here on a next trip.

We arrived in the wee hours of the night and unfortunately got a room that reeked of cigarette smell despite requesting for a non-smoking room where our request was accepted as well. We made a feedback to the receptionist, and the staff on shift was very understanding and accommodating to our request in switching to a non-smoking room as well as our preferred room layout (there are two diff room layouts for Cosy Queen Room). We got our room changed the next day upon checkout of the previous guest, and we are very pleased to say that the new room was in a way better condition (727) than the previous assigned room and that it was completely smoke-free. (See the first two images for the new room) Throughout our stay, the staff remained ever helpful and friendly and truly made our stay enjoyable. We had a bit of an issue with our Mei Tuan food order on one of the days, and the staff readily assisted which enabled the issue to be promptly resolved. Here are some pros and cons of the hotel: Pros- • Perfect location and pickup point, making it easy to Didi anytime • Room was great for the price point - strong shower pressure and a/c • Friendly and helpful staff (receptionist, housekeepers) • Great housekeeping standards • Free laundry service (note that it takes about a good 12-15hrs for your clothes to be ready as there is always a long demand for their in-house laundry service) Cons- • Long waiting time for the lift (as there are only two lifts available since it’s a shared building with other hotel brands)

Convenient Location Near the Airport The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of Terminal 3—about a 20-minute walk, which is manageable if you’re traveling light. For added convenience, a free 24-hour shuttle service to the airport is available. Be sure to book the shuttle at the reception at least one day in advance. Overall, it’s a practical choice for travelers looking to rest before or after a flight.

The location is great, just next to train station chaotianmen station. Is vg easy to take train to 十八梯 & 下浩里。 Opposite is the Raffles City mall. Butler 小熊 & 多多vg friendly & helpful. My husband got mosquito bites on his legs & they immediately bring the anti itch lotion for him to apply. The room is cozy & comfortable. Hotel also provides us the free photo shooting.

Excellent Stay at Walling Hotel with Great Views & Service Room Experience Stayed 4 nights across two rooms: Rooms 604 & 605 (6th Floor)- Newly renovated* with a chic design. Loved the separate dressing partition – super practical! Included a quality tea set and coffee drip facilities, perfect for relaxing with a hot drink while enjoying the city views facing the Art Gallery. My top choice! - Room 1601 (Panorama Room): Breathtaking bridge and city views , especially at night. However, it lacked the tea set and coffee drip (missed these!). Preference: The 6th-floor rooms win for their modern amenities, practicality, and proximity to the laundry room (on Level 5). Amenities & Perks - Breakfast:Daily Chongqing noodles – absolutely delicious and a hearty start to the day. - Afternoon Tea: A lovely touch! Relaxing with snacks after sightseeing was a treat. - Complimentary Extras: - Mei Hui Guo -souvenir packet in every room (a sweet gesture!). - Complimentary ice cream in the lobby – refreshing and appreciated! Location Unbeatable! Easy walking distance to Hongyadong and Jiabeifai– exploring was effortless. Staff & Service Exceptional hospitality! - Staff members #4 and #7 went above and beyond – attentive, friendly, and truly helpful. - The manager (a gentleman) was also proactive, though I regrettably didn’t catch his name. The entire team radiates warmth. Final Thoughts The Walling Hotel delivers fantastic value: great rooms (opt for renovated 6th floor!), prime location, tasty food, and standout service. The thoughtful extras (souvenirs, ice cream) made the stay extra special. Highly recommended for travelers wanting comfort, convenience, and authentic Chongqing charm. Will definitely return!
