Everything was great, hotel in a well located place, great service, clean room and everyone at our disposal, breakfast all very good .. I recommend!

Always a comfortable stay at the holiday Inn Fortaleza. The rooms are fairly large and comfortable for any length of stay. The hotel provides a decent breakfast to get your day started. Also a restaurant on site with cocktails good food and great service. The staff here are friendly and happy to help guests. Augusto the manager is always available to lend a helping hand if need be with a smile on his face. I’ve been all over the world in all kinds of hotels and when I’m in Fortaleza for business or pleasure this is my number one pick.

Air conditioning suffering, just ventilate! I asked to check the problem and Mr. Araújo ( maintenance ) found the problem ( 07/02 - Apto 127 ) told me that he would check it, but after 20 minutes without return I called the reception to report the incident beyond the box leakage in the bathroom ... that was mounted Then then then then then then then then then then then then then then then then then then then then then then then then then then then then then then then then then then then then then then then then then then then then then then then then then then then then then then then then then then then then then then then then then then then then then the Finally ... I was changed from room ... to 133 ... the same situation ... central air conditioning does not work ... only ventilates and makes noise. Rooms smell mopho.. moisture. It's a pity, be careful not to disappoint ... consider other options in the same region. I and 2 more colleagues in different rooms (No 123 ) with the same air problem. The hotel is familiar with this problem ... because they already leave a magnetic energy card inserted directly in the rooms. Pq? Because they don't spend energy with air conditioning ... only ventilation works. My colleagues had already warned me before ... I paid to see! Danced! Would you like to pay? Decide !! Old hotel ... only the location is good!

This is a very good hotel! It has a great breakfast buffet, a great swimming pool, a great view of the beach, very nice beds, and a very peaceful location. The negative things I would say are very minor but they did make a difference for me. First, the staff were polite but not friendly. The hostesses at the breakfast buffet each morning were disappointing because they were the first staff I would see each day but they would never greet me and sometimes they would just coldly look me off. I stayed in a suite for 10 days, and these ladies knew it from their register, so for spending that much money I kind of expected a minimum amount of polite and respectful behavior. Second, the location is very peaceful but it is also a little far from other things so that might turn some people off. However, this is easily remedied by spending 3 to 4 bucks for an Uber. Third, I have been in windy locations but all night long the wind would whistle very loudly in my room. I feel like with a little TLC then the windows could be re-sealed or altered somewhat and this whistling issue would be completely resolved. If you are a light sleeper then this whistling wind issue might make it difficult to sleep. In summary, I really feel like this could be an excellent hotel if they would ask their staff to be friendly rather than just not rude.

The hotel was well located, clean and organised, but for two consecutive days, staff went into my room with me sleeping, allegedly failed in the system, and it was a disturbing situation. Taking this slide all happened well and the staff were well educated!

Thanks so much for your excellent service. For many this was their first international mission trip. Breakfast was awesome. Food was always fresh. The staff that was at breakfast August 4-9 (two ladies that i shared blessing bracelets and the young man who showed me the monkeys. They were always pleasant and helpful, despite our language barrier. Would recommend and definitely stay there again if i am ever in Juazerio Do Norte again.

Grand Marques Hotel Fortaleza, just4.3 km from the Central Market, offers 24-hour desk, dry cleaning and housekeeping. The hotel is 5 km from the city center and is adjacent to Anfiteatro da Volta da Jurema. Each room features a minibar, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels and WiFi. Rooms come with a free shower, a hairdryer and bathrobes. There are some tourist attractions next to the hotel, such as Iracema Statue, only a 5-minute walk away. The beach is 650 meters away from here

We stayed in the hotel for over 7 days. It is located very close to the beach (across the street), the neighbourhood may not be the best one but you can easily get Uber ride to the city center. The hotel is well maintained and staff is nice and very friendly (especially Adriano from the restaurant/beach bar - was very responsive and always when needed). We defiantly recommend the place!

Great location, great views, the apartment is very comfortable, we like the concierge kit. Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, we cannot use the swimming pool.

We really enjoyed our 3 nights at the Carmel. While we were a couple and this is definitely a family resort with lots of kids, we enjoyed it. From the minute you arrive, until the moment you leave, the staff is friendly and efficient; they manage every need without hesitation. We had a 2nd floor room which was massive, a large living area on the bottom, a king sized sleeping area up a small flight of stairs. The air conditioning was nice after staying in another Ceara hotel without it. It was the holidays so the pool and beach common areas were busy, indeed, it was difficult at times to find a spot. The beach is very nice, and I enjoyed longs walks early before the crowds arrived. Breakfast was VERY good, with a huge selection at the serve yourself and you could also order off of the made to order menu. Food was fresh and flavorful! We dinned at the resort restaurant all 3 nights and found the food very good with a better than average selection of wines. There is nothing really worth venturing out for in the small town. There are fat tire bicycles available to ride on the beach for free; you can schedule a massage at the spa. You can rent buggy’s, quads or take kite surfing lessons right out front. Again, this is a families with kids resort, since we have 4 grandkids, it was fine with us.

1. We have a family of five so they just connected two rooms together. One has a queen bed and the other has three twin beds that are cramped together with hardly any room to move around. There is a tiny round table barely big enough to fit one laptop. 2. Location is amazing right by the beach but getting there could be a nightmare. We arrived during rainy season and the roads right out front of the hotel are red mud and looks like a war zone. The roads are basically giant mud holes for the last kilometer getting to the resort. 3. Internet service is absolutely horrible and not acceptable for anyone who needs reliable internet for business. Every day the name of the WIFI network changes to something different and most of the websites I try to access have been blocked by the network administrator. Common news websites like cnn.com are blocked for no apparent reason. This means my daughter was unable to do any of her research for her homework and our ability to handle our business was hindered as well. 4. Things nowhere to be found: Ice or ice maker anywhere on the premises, a microwave, a balcony, and no running potable water in the rooms or water fountains anywhere on the resort. This means we had to buy bottled water every day when we went out because the tiny refrigerator doesn't hold much and isn't very cold. The lack of a balcony means we have no place to put our wet cloths or our sandy shoes when we return from the beach so the sand naturally transfers all across the tile floor and eventually gets mixed into the bed sheets. It just blew my mind that there would be a hotel right on the beach without a balcony or even the ability to open a window or sliding glass door to hear or feel the ocean breeze. That's the whole point of beach front. Literally every other hotel in the surrounding area has open balcony areas. The lack of air flow or ventilation meant there is always a lingering smell of some sort, either from damp clothing or from whatever food was eaten the day before. Oh, and there are ants. Not many, but at night the kids were complaining because an ant or two would walk across their face while they were trying to watch TV and it scared our little one so much he couldn't sleep all night. The ceiling was also not very sound proof as we could hear the residents upstairs constantly stomping their feet. 5. Most disappointing is that there was really no communication from the staff. When we arrived we were never given any instructions, a map of the facility, a brochure of any kind, or any direction on what the ”resort” consisted of. Every other day I was finding out new things that the staff should have told us when we arrived. From walking around by ourselves we quickly realized there were no real amenities. We found out on our sixth day of a 7 day vacation that there is a ”fitness center” behind the resort that no one uses. It consists of a couple pieces of worn out equipment and some light dumbells. There is no salon, not even a

I had a wonderful surprise in the room to celebrate my wedding anniversary, taking care of perfectly with all structure for my little and sensational food outside the curve. I would like to thank in particular the Italo who made everything even more perfect!

The first night was lacking energy and we sleep very badly because of the heat, and tb I found the meals very simple and without many attractions, until the sports squares stay out of the resort, i.e., resort smaller and with fewer options than the condominium I live, for the price that the structure charges does not compensate.

The hotel is very well organized, clean, careful, staff-friendly, quality food, breakfast with a great variety. Ideal accommodation for your need, cosy and spacious. Excellent quality restaurant service. The hotel has a very good quality of friendliness, reception, service, proactivity.
