I liked the accommodations, however there is no telephone / intercom in the room, it is necessary to have a whatsapp contact, provided by them, for everything you need, I found it quite uncomfortable. Towels very shabby (rough), they should be replaced. Good breakfast, but with few seats, you have to wait depending on the time you arrive. Good cleanliness, attentive and helpful maids. There is a fridge in the room, but without any products inside. You can bring it from outside or ask them via whatsapp.

The hotel needs urgently a retirement, the room in which I stayed had a moof and the bathroom too. The lifts also need a reform. Breakfast needs improvements, needs to be more diversified. The bed linen and towels need to be exchanged, they were very wearing.

It is located near restaurants, bars, groceries stores, and pharmacies. Breakfast could improve. I wish they had more local tropical fruits. However, breakfast is simple but well served. Located just steps from the beach, which is calm and not lots of waves. Good for kids.

A rocky beach (not for swimming) is right outside, and although the rooms don't directly look out to sea, it was nice to be able to hear the ocean. The staff are friendly and helpful and although many speak some English, it is useful to be able to speak a little Portuguese . Breakfast was good, but dinner less so - on the night I ate in the restaurant the buffet wasn't on, and I suspect this would be better than ordering off the menu. The rooms are basic but clean and functional. Overall no complaints for the cost.

My family and I stayed at the Wish with interconnecting rooms in August 2022. This worked really well for us. Lobby area is large and airy with lovely decor. Pool area looked really nice but was not warm enough for us to use. The gym was modern with plenty of choice in equipment. Had some lovely evenings at the bar drinking cocktails made by Mauro. We were allocated rooms on level 11 so we had the perfect view over the city. Just wish the windows had been cleaned. Our view was a little cloudy! On one occasion we had music outside the park for us to listen to! Plus we watched some lads playing soccer. Room sizes were good. Beds were supercosy with good selection of pillows. The decor was a little tired and could do with freshening up. There was a musty damp scent in the room on arrival which we resolved by opening the window. This must be due to the climate where its warm and wet in Winter. Breakfast was lovely each morning with lots of choice. Just wish they had some plant based alternatives. E.g soya milk, margarine etc. Outside the Wish hotel is a park which a huge monument and fountain, if you wish to take a morning stroll/jog. There are council exercise machines next to the childrens playground. We were fortunate to see Capoeira training going on. Other than that there is nothing else. A short cab ride away will take you to Bahia shopping mall - Really good food court on ground floor here - Oriental, Italian and Brazilian. Plus a good place to do a money exchange. Cash is king here guys! The tourist spots like praca da sa, Pelourinho, Rio Vermelho etc are 1.5 miles away. Hotel taxis accept card payments. Which is really convenient. Be prepared to hold on to dear life when taking a random taxi from the street. Some drive like lunatics. Our taxi from airport to hotel was like this. Maybe its worth booking a hotel transfer with Wish. Overall if I could afford the Fasano I would stay there for the luxury plus location,but if you require something more easy on the pocket and away from the madness of the tourist areas, I would choose Wish de Bahia. We were staying over night in the purpose of sleep before the travel to lencois. The hotel was perfect for that. Really good value for money. Nice and clean room. Used the room service to order dinner which was really good. And the hotel was really closed to the bus terminal. Staff in check in talked English and in check out not really good English.

This hotel can be considered well located if you are traveling by car or if you have no problem taking a taxi, uber or similar, all of this because, although the neighborhood is good, it does not offer any of the attractions of Salvador by foot. Aware of that, you can come, but pay attention, don't expect too much, the accommodation is good but old, the lobby is large but dark, the breakfast is relatively full of food but always crowded and in order to get one ”tapioca” or an omelette this will require some of your patience in the row. I tried to go to the gym but even during the pandemic it was full of people, maybe because of the location next to the pool or even because of the usual number of guests at the end of the year. Even so, we were well taken care of during the period we stayed at the Bahia hotel and I would return without any major problems.

The hotel has a beach outlet, is very wide, with beautiful spaces, such as the pad and the gardens. The environment is wonderful, from the pool you see the blue sea (a little brave sea!!). The hotel is very comfortable and comfortable and is very comfortable. We stayed here since this was a preferred hotel for family, but we would probably not stay as long the next visit. Please be warned that they had out review cards to people at breakfast who give them positive feedback, and don't to those who give less than positive so the reviews here on trip advisor will be very skewed. (Since I gave mixed comments they did not give me a review card with a trip advisor logo prominently on it.) The price difference between the basic and deluxe rooms was minimal and our friend's room was much nicer for little more. The basic rooms were pricy once we saw what they got for a slight bit more. The positives: - The location was convenient within 10 minutes of the Ilheus airport. - The pools were clean, bathrooms were easily accessible. - The drinks (with alcohol) were excellent, and they were made very quickly after ordering. - They had activities and a playroom for kids, and a game room (although the game room needs maintained better, new equipment, etc). - There were activities for adults like volleyball, water aerobics, and contents where they gave small prizes. - The lunch and dinner menu food was very good always, prices were reasonable. - The beach behind the resort wasn't full so you had a lot of space to enjoy. The waves are rough at times. There are a lot of restaurants about a mile down the beach if you want to go elsewhere for lunch. The negatives: - The rooms were loud to outside noise, people in the hallways were loud throughout the night. - The breakfast was lacking compared to other resorts. Due to the number of people at the hotel, they produced food in mass quantity and the quality of breakfast was low overall. Tables were usually hard to find also. Multiple days when we ordered omelets they didn't get the order right. (using tapioca rather than egg, putting on onions, etc) The juices were extremely watered down, and not good. - The poolside music and master of ceremonies were too loud every day. We complained multiple time. It felt like you were in a college spring break bar. The hotel staff will not pick up empty (plastic) drink glasses from poolside. - It was quite a walk from many of the rooms to the restaurant, pool, etc. - There is not much near the hotel if you walk outside the property. - They also had little or no information on covid testing when it was required to fly back to the USA. So we had to find pharmacies online and walk to them, which there were a few within 1/2 mile. The reception desk really did not have any information on happenings in Ilheus. They had a flyer from a festival going on, but when you asked about it they had no clue. Otherwise the reception desk was pretty helpful. There was free flavored water at check-in at reception, but this was only around check-in time. The hotel should provide this 24 hours daily, it was a nice feature.

After a not very calm flight trip across the Atlantic, this Hotel made us feel really confortable since the time we arrive. It doesn't take long to reach from the airport and it is just by the beach, so it was a wonderful place to arrive when one comes from a winter tempest in Europe. The pool is marvellous! It has hot water and it is large enough to not feel crowded. The breakfast had everything I could wish for, fruits, many breads, and even more substancial foods. The staff was extremely helpful. I also felt safe and enjoyed being on the beach. Many nice beaches are very close by, as well as the Farol de Itapoã . We really enjoyed our stay.

I stayed for 6 days and loved the hotel, excellent location, exceptional breakfast, always with animal protein options besides eggs, many breads and cakes, the bed of the room was very comfortable and the excellent linens, Hotel staff (mainly women) very nice and educated, the shower of the room a delicious

Hotel Maravilhoso, quartos excelentes com uma grande área de piscina e um exclusivo parque aquático kids. Recepcionista Rafael muito atencioso e educado, sempre nos orientando e nos ajudando para podermos aproveitar melhor os nossos passeios.Serviço de quarto muito caprichoso. Café da manhã muito farto com muita opção. Voltarei a me hospedar novamente e indicarei o hotel para meus amigos.

The room was not in line with the expectations or images on the site. The room was smelled of mopho, the sweaters were sweating, even the bed clothes exchanged daily, besides being old and badly smelling. The hotel has a very old room furniture and a fully apparent cord with two holes in the wall, under the TV. TV only picked up 2 channels. Internet seems to be an old problem, since the administration doesn't care about it. The mobile data signal does not work in the rooms, and with this, guests accumulate in the reception to try to use the wi-fi. We were the reception questioning about the wi-fi, but staff were not asked. During our hosting, energy peak were constant in several days. Breakfast is always full, but simple and varied, but it is necessary to wait for a table to sit. Parking always loaded, and parking in the garden is necessary, by the staff.

Regarding the structure of the hotel, the leisure area is very beautiful, everything is very beautiful and original, with beautiful views, a gym, a bar, a restaurant, but nothing more. Opposite the room, it was terrible, all the rooms are very old, the mattresses are not good, they look very old. After I went to the hotel for two days and put all the ”worries” of my two-month-old daughter and my wife in, my wife started complaining that the room looked unclean. Lying on the bed, complained that both pillows smelled very shampoo, which meant they did not change the use of them in the last guest. I left to find a friend and said that Cuiabá was staying at this hotel (that’s why I chose to stay at Eco Bahia Hotel), and when I returned to my room, I went to the bathroom (until then) No one has used it) and the rest of the vase with excrement, that is, it means that they have not cleaned or cleaned the bathroom in any way. This place is truely unbelievable and without a doubt the best in Brazil and among the best in the world for whom values comfort & luxury but also contact with nature like me. The beach of the hotel is one of the most beautiful I have ever seen and the hotel sits among a fantastic lush garden were the villas integrate perfectly. A true garden of eden by the sea full of maritacas, the little brazilian parrots, flying around ! Service is unbelievable everywhere . Professional with Bahianese soul ! What I particularly love is space. Even if the hotel is full, one is never bothered by other people as the place is huge. The main pool is gigantic and there are two or three others ( I am not sure) . The main restaurant is pure Fasano style elegance with the perfect discreet chic light at night whilst the beach restaurant by the beach is simply awsome : bare feet to eat a grilled fish looking at Itapororoca beach whilst listening to an amazing dj ( Monika the last time I was there ). Pure bliss and unique !!!

Despite fully occupied over New Year, Management and staff were simply great, to the smallest detail, and we must have known by name and appreciated at least a dozen of them, too many to mention them all. Yes, the rooms and amenities are getting aged, but they do a great job keeping it all clean, and perfectly working. Location is the best you could think of, on the beach, but only a short (partly steep, but only for 100 m or so) walk to myriad of restaurants, cafes and shops. We’ll be back!

I loved my hotel hosting, very good breakfast, spacious room, always clean and clean. The only negative point in my opinion was the internet that did not work in the room I was in and the operator Claro did not work right. We thank hotel staff in general who do a good job and we will surely come back more times

Já fiquei nesse hotel em março de 2023 e em abril de 2024 não tive a mesma experiência! Fiquei 8 dias ! O hotel estava em reforma muito barulho no período da manhã ! Não tem mais o dj de final de semana ! Fiquei em um dos últimos quarto sendo que o restante estava tudo vazio onde dificultava o acesso fácil à praia ! Quem for reserve um quarto próximo a recepção os demais estão nos fundos está horrível todos velhos e mau cuidados sem cadeira sem rede de balanço, Wi-Fi não funciona ,chuveiro enferrujados triste! Acredito que na alta temporada dão mais atenção ao café da manhã e outras atividades fora de temporada só ladeira a baixo. Nem o quiosque do hotel que fica à frente à praia estava bom(as cadeiras todas amontoadas sem atendimento horrível! Em nenhum momento querem ajudar ! Certamente preciso encontrar outro hotel ! Único ponto positivo é das meninas que arrumam muito bem os quartos! Outro ponto importante! Tem uma empresa Porto paradise com Paulo boa que fecha passeios próximo a área do café da manhã ! Dentro do hotel! Simplesmente fecham os pesseios e somem com dinheiro sem realizar o passeio! Acreditei que por venderem no hotel tinha uma certa credibilidade e segurança porém totalmente ao contrário! Ao relatar ao hotel que passei por isso eles simplesmente não ligaram ao menos tentaram me ajudar ! Não recomendo mais !

The hotel has responded very well to our expectations. The room we were staying seemed to have been renovated shortly, even if we saw the difference between the walls and the doors (new coating and older door). The hotel is well located in front of Toa a Toa and for those who do not want to walk the good is to choose a room that is turned to the inside.

The hotel has been very bad. For a room that receives children there is no place to play. The park is unconditional and dangerous. The rooms, though large, are infiltrated and vacuated. The service is disorganized. For two consecutive days we made lunch requests, the first did not note and lunch went out 2 hours after the request and the second did the request and passed numerous requests in front (the garçon speaks) and we all were hungry. We pay all inclusive and they have no structure and organisation to provide the services offered.

Location is the best you could think of, on the beach, but only a short (partly steep, but only for 100 m or so) walk to myriad of restaurants, cafes and shops. We’ll be back!
