4-Star Hotels in Ubon Ratchathani Province, Thailand

Centara Ubon is a new hotel located at Ubon Ratchathani. The location is next to Central Plaza which is convenient for food, shopping and even catching a movie. The hotel has new promotion for now. They provide breakfast for 2 and complimentary drinks. The mini bar is free for the 1st day. There is a small pool and fitness room These are the pros The service needs to improve as I didn't feel very welcome on the 1st day of check in. The staff were speaking in Thai which I am unable to understand. When I provided my reservation, they still didn't address me in English but when they realised I am paying, they started talking to me. Perhaps they are new and inexperience, I had to wait 20mins for my receipt during checkout. There were flies at the restaurant during breakfast, an unwelcoming sight. The hotel should do something about it. Housekeeping was also inconsistent, only providing water for 1st and last day. We were given voucher 555baht per day to spend at the restaurant, however we were not allowed to have our food in our room. The was quickly changed when I fill in the survey and Mr Santichon, the Front Desk Manager got to know about it. Mr Santichon's hospitality and service-oriented attention to our needs win me and family over. We decided that we will return again when we are in the vicinity. The hotel truely has a gem in Mr Santichon and I hoped his peers and staff can learn from him. I hoped the management compliment Mr Santichon on his dedication to his work.

Good price, great hotel, location is in the city center. Also hotel is connected to the shopping mall, very convienient.

The accommodation is in a good location with parking. The staff service is average, not very good. The room is clean. It is an old accommodation renovated in a minimalist style. Overall, it is average and worth the price.

My trip period Octorber 13 - 16, 2022. ( 3 Nights 4 Days) Krabi - Bangkok - Ubon Ratchathani - Bangkok - Krabi. October 13, 2022 (Krabi - Bangkok - Ubon Ratchathani) I flew with Thai Airways/Thai Smile Airways (TG2240/WE242 and TG2028/WE028) Krabi to Bangko was excellent time of flight and waited for 5 hours @Suvarnabhumi International Airport for connecting flight to Ubon Ratchathani but overall was good not made me bored. The plan arrive at Ubon Ratchathani @ 17.20 unfortunately of my time here while was flood time various place. I looked out the window while was the plan landing, I not believe with my eye that I saw anywhere flood beside of downtown and countryside. After plan landed everyting was smooth at aiport approximately 17.40 pm. but I found that was getting dark and low temperature with shower rain. Then I left airport for 1st night at Torsang Ubon before all my intenerary begin. After arrived @Torsang Ubon, the first impressive with welcome drink and warm welcome with well trained staff @ here. Room clealiness/C'fee shop service/good food and tasty and overall service was excellecne, too. I could say everything @here excellent for Thais or International Tourist to stay overnight before getting to other place or just overnight before if your flight as depart early bird. Next day I left here to Khong Jiam for my visiting as I want to see. (October 14, 2022) May I reccommend to promoting your staff Khu Poope was excellence handle, appreciates thank you for her. Hope to come back again and reccommend for any wishing to visit Ubon Ratchathani.

I picked the hotel due to in the heart of the city and convenience for moving around. The room is spacious and clean with necessary toiletries. The room air condition was quiet which gave me a good night sleep. Shower is equipped with hot individual heater and minimum pressure. There was 24 hours front desk reception to serve all may be needed. There is coffee shop that serve breakfast which beyond expectation. Their local dishes were tasty, Kai Kra Ta (fried eggs in the pan with their toppings) and Vietnamese noodles soup with local sausage which is a must tried.

Pros The hotel is in a very good location, suitable for relaxing with family, friends, couples, seminars, etc. Some staffs provide good service and are cheerful (breakfast room). Cons 1. The cafe has few areas for taking photos, nothing special. The tower that you walk up to does not have a view, as the trees block it. 2. Ordering food at the cafe takes longer than it should. 3. The staffs in the cafe are not very cheerful. 4. You have to order and pay a deposit in the restaurant. Guests who are staying should give them some special privileges for convenience. Cons that need to be urgently improved: The rooms on the first floor behind the lobby, which is next to the swimming pool: 1. The stairs behind the room have no handrails, which is very dangerous. 2. The tiled floor is very slippery when wet. My mother had shoes from one of my friends who went with me and slipped and hit her head, so she had to go home immediately, which had a major impact on the entire trip. I would like to give feedback for the hotel to change the materials to prevent the same incident from happening again. However, I would like to thank the staff who helped call an ambulance.

Excellent private and quiet little resort right on the river with AC in each room. High bank view for miles, and with only 9 bungalows, this is certainly a place for peace and quiet. The food is very well prepared and has a good offering of western and thai dishes. Our room was clean, roomy enough, being on par with most hotel room, bed was comfortable and they have the standard hot pot with nescafe and tea. I read some comments on a small bathroom but ours was more than adequate. Certainly not enough room for a dance party but more than adequate for the uses intended! They do provide a hair dryer and warm shower. Very clean, welcoming staff and hosts, good breakfast (included).

We had booked the 21 with Booking, but we had to cancel it because the wife was sick. We knew the cancellation was not refundable. We have nevertheless tried our chance not to pay the night by writing to the hotel to explain why we could not present ourselves and we have also written to Booking. We were free from any charge and are grateful for this hotel. The receptionist was very welcome, and the young man who brought us to our room was bad. He didn't want to know anything about us and clearly demonstrated it. We had a deal to have a room on the second floor and we were on the first in a room that was not suitable for us at all. The room was beautiful at first sight, but there was a hairdryer and fungi at the bathroom level in the shower and laundry and the bathroom. We had a great balcony. The tranquility was at the meeting and we had very good sleep. Breakfast was service from 7:00 to 10:00 and was passable. We have already seen better. It often lacked food in the dishes. We had to do foot and hands to get two towels in the pool yesterday night, which was very clean and well maintained. The hotel is very comfortable and very comfortable. We have some photos to share. A day must to visit Khong jiam, I took private minivan letf downtown, in 10 mins after on road to Khong Jiam, Immediately I feeling scare because I saw water barrier put along of road shoulders to prevent water flood on road almoste 5 kilometers. But my decision to get through to continue. It lost time apoximately 1 hour there, then I stop somewhere as I put in my intinerary ex... Sirinthorn Dam, Boarder Thai - Loa (Chong Meg), then getting through to Tohsang Khongjiam Resort & Spa. Immediately arrived @here so very excited or ejaculating could say wonderful, super, and manywords as you could say. Excellence location besige of Khong River, landscape, environment, surrounding or hotel, facilities of hotel be perfect. And I could say all service at here must be 5 star ++. Staff very friendly and well trained, During stay at here althoght shower rain all time but I felt never bored with excellece place. I appreciates thank you for your associates to support and excellence service while I was here, I will say again appreciates thank you for Khun Mod as I met, she was excellence responsed and hope she will happy with new job here for her home land. I highly reccommend for your long ro short holiday here with them that you will remember for long.
